I will only ever buy Black Diamond Cheesestrings when they go on sale. At regular price, they cost more than a whole brick of cheese.
They are processed and most definitely not as good for you as real chunks of cheese, but they're good for an on the go snack and a little hit of protein. So I recommend them for convenience sake, but seriously, don't buy these at full price.

I love the added fiber. I hate the taste of whole wheat pasta, so this is the best of both worlds. I find the price to be comparable, although you are getting a smaller amount for what you'd normally pay for pasta. But if you love your pasta and are like me and eat a lot of it, you kind of want to make up for that quantity by at least having some extra fiber.
It's got 8 grams of fiber per serving, which is a heck of a lot more than the measly 2-3 (at best) that some other brands have. In terms of making you feel fuller when you just eat plain pasta with a bit of salt and spices, I honestly haven't noticed a difference compared to other brands. But I trust that I'm at least getting some good into me with all the fiber.

I find the price to be a bit much, so I try to only buy when it's on sale. I use it on toast and crackers as a snack. Definitely do not believe the marketing, this stuff is not healthy for you. It's chocolate. It's like eating a chocolate bar. Use it sparingly as a treat.

I used this a few years back when my lips were so dry and cracked they were bleeding and very painful. Blistex Medicated Lip Ointment definitely does the job of healing severely dry lips. It has a slight smell to it and is a bit oily, I recommend using it at bedtime as I did. Since using it, I've been much more careful about keeping my lips moisturized and protected with lip chap when I'm outside (especially in winter), so I haven't needed to go back to this. -
For the price, this lip chap isn't too bad. It does the job of moisturizing your lips and lasts for a while, but the SPF could definitely be better. For one, it's not broad spectrum and SPF of 4 is hardly worth it. You need at least SPF 15 for daily... +
For the price, this lip chap isn't too bad. It does the job of moisturizing your lips and lasts for a while, but the SPF could definitely be better. For one, it's not broad spectrum and SPF of 4 is hardly worth it. You need at least SPF 15 for daily use, the stronger the better ideally.
I do like that it has no flavour or smell, those are definite bonuses. I also don't find it to leave my lips sticky like some chapsticks do.
So I do recommend this product if you're looking for a good basic moisturizing lip balm in an easy to use tube (I hate those containers where you have to put your finger in, talk about bacteria city!). But for the same price, you can do better, which is why ultimately I'm saying "Fugheddaboutit!".

These are a great and very cheap go to for basic lip care. They're not really filled with any ingredients that would provide long lasting care for you lips, but I find them to be a quick and easy go to when I just want to put something on my lips when they're feeling a bit dry. Having my lips glide more smoothly against each other instead of being really dry helps me to not lick my lips (which in turns makes them more dry) or bite them. The chapstick lasts for a few hours, which is pretty good for such a cheap product. Ultimately, I think these are good for kids, but if you're looking for something to really treat dry lips on a more permanent basis or help with winkles, I recommend buying something with more beneficial ingredients. -

This is a cheap foundation that does the job for big events that will require a lot of photos. I've never worn foundation before in my life and the cosmetic lady at Shoppers recommended the Revlon PhotoReady Foundation to me. This stuff really does look amazing in photos, my skin looks flawless (I only have a bit of redness on my nose and cheeks, otherwise my complexion is pretty good) and a little dewy. But in person? I hate this foundation. It looks like I"m wearing a mask. Not natural at all. That might be the look some women go for, but I like a more natural pretty face, not an overdone face where it's clearly obvious you're wearing makeup.
So while this was cheap and did the job, I would definitely not buy Revlon's PhotoReady Foundation again. I'll be on the look out for something a little more natural looking and preferably with less chemicals and unknown ingredients in the makeup.

I went from an iphone to the Samsung Galaxy S4 and I completely hate it. For one, the battery life is absolutely horrible. Even on power saving mode and with Wi-Fi and everything turned off, the phone doesn't last me the day. If I'm actually using it, forget about it, not even half the day.
It took some getting used to, but the menu screen is pretty easy to manage and rearrange icons. Games run smoothly on it as well. I find it a little too big though to comfortably fit into my jean pockets, especially if there's a case on it.
After this phone I will definitely be going back to iphone.

The price is pretty decent at just under $6 for a large 355ml bottle. It has zinc, the same active medicinal ingredient that Head & Shoulders uses. Lately I've been finding that Head & Shoulders wasn't working as well, and my husband was complaining about greasy hair. So I had decided to try other brands. I wanted to try Aveeno's anti-dandruff shampoo, but it was the same price as this Dove Men Care Anti-Dandruff shampoo bottle, and less than half the product. With my long hair we would have been done the bottle within the week.
My husband absolutely loves this anti-dandruff shampoo. He says it works very well, leaves his hair feeling clean and soft, and he loves the smell. Personally, I don't care for the stronger musky smell of the shampoo and hate that the smell lingers for so long after a wash. If there was anything that reminded you of the smell of a man's product, this would be it. It most definitely does not smell like any feminine shampoo. I really wish it came in a fragrance free version.
I haven't found that it works yet for my dandruff, although I am scratching my scalp a little less often now. I get those scabby things on the crown of my head, the sides of my temple and my hairline at the back on my neck. So far they seem to be cutting down after just three washes with Dove Men Care Anti-Dandruff shampoo. So I will update this review later once I've used this product for a few months and let you know the results. I will clearly be buying this again though since my husband loves it so much.

I used Jamieson Prenatal Multivitamin for a year prior to getting pregnant and I've been using them throughout my pregnancy. I haven't suffered from any morning sickness, so I'm not sure if these would make that symptom worse or not.
I picked these over the Materna brand because I liked that the list of non-medicinal ingredients was significantly shorter in this brand. They are a bit pricey, but I try to stock up when they go on sale.
I did find that my gag-reflex got a lot stronger during the first half of my pregnancy so I found the size of these hard to get down. I usually ended up gagging when I swallowed, but I persevered as I didn't want to switch brands. Plus, I'm pretty sure these are the smaller prenatal multivitamins compared to the other brands.
As to the taste that one reviewer commented on, I'm not sure if she's sucking on these or trying to chew them. But I don't find there to be any taste on my tongue while trying to swallow these, nor do I ever get any kind of aftertaste.
One thing I did notice about these multivitamins is that they don't contain enough calcium. So it's recommended to take extra calcium on the side. Good luck with that though as the calcium pills are the largest I've found. But most ladies suck back the Tums while pregnant, I know I did, and they will provide more than enough of your daily calcium intake.
