Dove Sensitive Skin Unscented Body Wash is definitely not unscented and it's not for sensitive skin. They list fragrance in the ingredients (which is a catch all for hundreds to thousands of chemicals) which means it's truly not for sensitive skin. And there is a smell to this body wash, despite the 'unscented' claims. For these two reasons I would not recommend this product. For anyone who actually has sensitive skin or who truly wants an unscented body wash, I would definitely look elsewhere. For anyone else, you're better off just buying their nice smelling body washes. -

I love the smell of citrus, and Dove's Go Fresh Revitalize Mandarin & Tiare Flower Body Wash (wow, what a mouthful) delivers in that area. I find the price point of the Dove body washes to be a bit high, considering that they're really not anything special compared to other brands. It lathers very well, and again, got to love that citrus smell. I recommend this if it goes on sale. But I wouldn't pay full price for it. There are comparable body washes for cheaper available. -

St. Ives Oatmeal and Shea Butter Hydrating body wash lathers nicely, it has a great smell, and it doesn't seem to strip my skin's natural moisture levels. The price is pretty decent for the size of bottle you get. For that reason I would recommend it, but I honestly find it no better or worse than other similar type brand's of body wash. So if it goes on sale, I'd probably buy it again, but if another brand is cheaper, I wouldn't pick the Oatmeal and Shea Butter body wash over a cheaper brand. -

St. Ives Blemish Control Green Tea Facial Cleanser does effectively clean your face. As for the blemish control promise, I honestly haven't seen an improvement. I don't have too many blemishes, and I have heard tea tree oil is supposed to be a natural remedy for acne versus salycic acid or benzoyl peroxide (both of which I currently can't use while pregnant). The smell is little medicinal, but it's tolerable and does disappear quickly. The price is comparable to other cleansers, so for that I recommend it. This may work a little better for others than it did for me. I've heard a lot of people have had good success with tea tree oil for a cleanser, but I haven't been wow'd yet. -

There are better body lotions on the market (I prefer those with ceramides), but for the price, this isn't too bad of a lotion. The smell is great and when used often it definitely improves the moisture level in your skin. So while I do believe there are better lotions, for the price and economy size, this would be worth getting if you don't want to look into the better quality lotions. -

I really cannot recommend St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot Facial Scrub any less. This scrub is very, very bad for your skin. Yes, it effectively exfoliates your skin, but the particles are not small and even and because they're so sharp and irregular they cut the hell out of your skin. You don't see the damage, but it's definitely there. There are much better facial scrubs on the market. I know this is cheap, and that's why it's so appealing, but honestly the other, more effective brands, can be found for the same price or only a dollar or so more. -

Walmart's Brand, Great Value, will do in a pinch if you're looking for a chocolate syrup that doesn't cost over $4. But it truly lacks the same chocolatey flavour that Nestle's version has. I find Great Value's chocolate syrup tastes almost too sweet and artificial. Despite costing a little over 1 dollar less than the brand name version, I would rather spend the extra money (or wait for the brand name to go on sale).
As I said, if you desperate for some chocolate syrup, the Great Value does a decent job, it just tastes a little more sweet and artifical. But if you want that good old chocolate milk flavour, you're better off with the brand name.

So if you like Aunt Jemima's syrup, try out Great Value's version. It's cheaper and tastes the same, so why wouldn't you want to save a buck or two? I will definitely be buying this again in the future (I've actually since bought about 4 bottles since receiving one for free, same with the Great Value pancake mix).

Disclaimer: I received a full size bottle of Garnier SkinActive Clearly Brighter Brigtening and Smothing Moisturizer from Chickadvisor to review.
As of yet (Feb. 20) I haven't had a chance to use this moisturizer. I know review were due on the 21st, but I only just picked up my package today and it was only available for pick up on the 12th because of the delivery issues and Chickadvisor having the product in stock to ship. I plan to give this product a full testing and hopefully my skin will be as improved as they promise in a week.
