This is the first cleansing "water" from Garnier and it is hard not to compare with Bioderma. Very effective to remove all the makeup with 2 cotton pads, similar to Bioderma. Cleansing effect is quite impressive and skin feels refresh (after a minute or so, not immediately). However, when I squeeze the cotton pads, it has some white foam coming out. Looks like soap?? And composes more than "water". That's the reason why my pores do not feel breathable, as the way I use Bioderma. Considering the price of this product, it costs 50% less than Bioderma but achieves 80% of the work which is very competitive in the "water" market. -
Garnier SkinActive Clearly Brighter Brightening & Smoothing Moisturizer
The smell is very nice with a fruity scent. Texture is not heavy yet provide enough moisture to the skin. It is easily absorbed by the skin and does not creature shininess. Overall is a very effective moisturizer for oily prone skin.

I had very mixed feeling about this toothpaste. Teeth were very clean and mouth had a refreshing mint breath for at least 30 minutes after using. Good!!!! However, the taste of the toothpaste was too strong, almost like eating baking soda. I was actually shocked by the saltiness when I first tried it. Since we usually brush our teeth at least twice a day, the "taste" of the toothpaste is very important as well. If you like baking soda kind of toothpaste, this will be for you.

I received the serum from the review club. I was so excited and tried that on immediately. However, I stopped using that after a week when I got a few pimples. The serum smelled like "yeast" which I did not like at all. The serum was watery but did not absorbed by my skin which stayed on the surface only. I had to wash away a few hours as it created a sticky feeling. -

Part of the beauty routine is to regularly deep clean the skin every week in order to get rid of pore-clogging build-up and blackheads and impurities. Most of the clarifying masks in the market come in wash away format. This product is similar to Biore pore strips but applying to the entire face and neck. Black heads, small facial hairs and dead cells can be all pulled out after drying up. The only cons is the gel was black abnd sticky which may mess up your washroom sink. I still can't find Kose in Canada but I purchase that from Hong Kong or Sasa.com. -

This lip balm lasts and moisturizes without feeling too heavy. If I put on in the morning, I do not to reapply until lunch. It also serves as a very good base before putting lipstick on. The lip balm is especially delicate to be used in dry winter times. I have used 3 of these lip balms and found it will melt and break easliy under hot weather. I put that in my cosmestic pouch as I was traveling in Beijing (33> degrees celcius) and probably better to use in cold weathers. Yeah, this is an expensive item and a close substitute will be Mentholatum Pure Natural lip balm. They have similar texture but need to reapply like every 30 minutes. I got one on sale from Walmart for $2. -

I used the first Bioderma in 2007 in Hong Kong and way more expensive than here in Canada. This was a popular brand in France and Asia and H2O series was their star product. Later in 2008/2009, I found out the Shoppers Drug Mart and London Drugs carried Bioderma. The price was $20 for 250ml and sometimes 15% off. They were not that popular in Canada and I purchased a 125ml H2O in Shoppers last month for $4.95 which was extremely cheap.
The product is one of the best make up removal/cleanser in the market, feeling much refreshing than the make up removal sheets. The solution deeply cleanses the pores without making your skin being dried out. The product instruction says that we can apply toner immediately after using the H2O. It really depends on your routine habit. I still get used to use make up removal plus cleanser. H2O is definitely a very good product and the price is relatively low in compared to the competitive products.
