Leaves a bit of a moisture barrier film behind. Some people definitely would hate that. The beads inside feel pointless because there aren't enough of them to actually exfoliate, so they are mostly just annoying. I hate microbeads in anything really. This cleanser is basic and simple but nothing to write home about. -

This is a great palette for beginners and pros. The layout is easy to use as each row is a great shadow look or you can jump all around the palette for a unique look. This palette has oranges, cranberries, and purples while still have cool tone and nuetral shades. It's mostly Matte, which I prefer, but the four shimmer shades are to die for, especially the blue duochrome. If I could only have one palette forever it would be this one. -

Every frizzy haired girl needs this in her life. It is the best product I have ever found for taming frizz and or damaged hair. It smells great and feels super luxurious. I use on wet hair before I brush through it. Not only does it help calm frizz but it helps my brush glide through better and causes less hair breakage. -

Finally a face/mask scrub that I will want to repurchase forever and ever! I was using dark angels from lush as a cleanser until the formula changed and it started dying my skin black. Anyways I picked this up instead because it looked scrubby and had clay and was cheaper in terms of lush's other products. I have dry skin and this is even better for my skin than dark angels which was a lot rougher. I only exfoliate 1-2 times a week with this scrub. The grounds really slough away dead dry skin and the clay gives a really deep clean. On top of that coffe smell and the caffeine in the scrub really makes you look and feel awake in the morning. I also will add that I only use this in the shower because it messy. -

I love Colourpop lip products. Literally every other lip product they produce is amazing. This formula however is super drying!! I have it in the shade Aquarius which is a beautiful colour. However when I put it on you can see every line in my lips and it starts peeling once it gets closer to the inside of my lip. This lipstick is the definition of butthole lips. I pair this with the matching colourpop Aquarius gloss and it does just fine but obviously is no longer Matte. I would recommend their Lippie stix if you want a Matte look or their Ultra Satin lippies that look way better on the lips. -

I really do have a love hate relationship with these. I love how soft and creamy they are while still giving a Matte look. However they seem to run out sooo fast. I brought some brand new for a 1 month trip to Europe and they were empty when I returned. I had two colours that I only wore in the evenings. I feel like I got maybe 10 wears out of each tube. I have bought more since then and they always run out so quick. I'm not sure why as the amount of product doesn't differ from a lot of their other liquid lipsticks. I am totally in love with the shade range of this collection but for $9 CAD each I might as well invest it elsewhere. -

Even though I prefer Matte shadows and mostly buy exclusively Matte palettes I was still drawn to this palette. It's perfect for when I want to add a little pop of colour to my typical brown Matte look. My favourite though is to wet them with some setting spray and wear them as liner. This is definitely not for everyone and it's hard to do a complete look with just this palette as there is only one Matte shade. The highlighter included is an added bonus and is quite pretty for fair skin. -

These can be on the pricy side when it comes to drugstore nail polishes, and quite frankly there are cheaper polishes that work as good. Essie though has the best colour selection and you can usually count on getting a decent product. I have about 20 Essie polishes and a few of them are just horrible. They are never opaque even after 5 coats and some chip really bad. But the ones with good formulas are some of my favourite polishes ever. -
