Once I bought this palette, I threw all of my other eyeshadows away. I mean, this has everything I need. I don't do bold eye colors, I'm too old for that now. And I'm black, so these shades fall into my neutral zone.
Pros
They apply like a dream and have great color payoff! I always use eye primer, so I can't speak for how they work without it. They blend easily, but maybe not completely foolproof for beginners. There is something for everyone in this palette. And it's a good, well thought out mix of matte and simmer shades.
Cons
While I haven't noticed ANY fallout (BIG pro), even gently touching my brush to the shadow cause a LOT of loose powder to form, that we will all inevitability blow away because we don't need THAT much product on such a small area. While I'd rather see that loose mess in the palette rather than on my cheeks, it still seems very wasteful to me. The darkest shade is a bit hard to blend, but that could definitely be user error, and not necessarily am issue with the product itself

Let me preface this by saying that I am black and do have some pigmentation issues. Namely, VERY dark under-eye cirlces. While I will agree that this powder does help my foundation stay in place, I do notice more of the fine lines around my face, namely the smile lines and the creases under my eyes. This is the first setting powder I've ever used, and maybe it's a combination of my matte foundation and this product, but I end up looking ashy and my creases are MUCH more visible, making me look cakey. But I WILL say, it stops my makeup from settling into said creases, so I'll take that as a win. I think I'd rather my lines be more visible than having my makeup sink into them and allowing the darkness of my circles to seep through.
I think if you have lighter skin or even dark skin but maybe with not such defined fine lines, this is an awesome, long-lasting setting powder. Price tag is a little steep, but good quality.

I'm not sure how I made it to 30 years old without know this existed. I used it for the first time last night to remove my makeup and it came off almost a bit TOO easily. Soaked a cotton pad, glided it gently over my skin, makeup was gone. Much preferable to the makeup removing cloths that irritate my skin because of how many swipes I have to make to remove all the makeup. Here's a list of products I removed to give you an idea of if this can work for you.
Rimmel matte primer
BECCA ever matte foundation
Kat Von D Lock-it concealer
Anastasia Renaissance palette eyeshadow
SheaMoisture waterproof eyeliner
CK mascara (discontinued, may you RIP)
While I had a little eye liner under my eyes this morning, it was only because I didn't want to wipe so close to my lower waterline to remove all the product, as it says to avoid contact with eyes.
BONUS: something I REALLY wasn't expecting to see. When I woke this morning and looked in the mirror, my skin looked brighter and healthier. I can't imagine why, as I didn't wash my face and apply toner and moisturizer and all that mess I would usually do. I just wiped off my makeup and went to sleep, because I'm a gross human being. So why such bright skin this morning? Don't care. I'll take the win.
