I had gotten this as a gift from my boyfriend's mother for Christmas. I'm not a lipstick kind of person as I hate how it get's onto my teeth and it fades fairly quickly - also, not everyone likes an imprint of lips on their cheeks - but this has got to be the best lipsticks I've ever used.
I got it in the colour "Brilliant Bordeaux" (as shown in the picture) and it's beautiful! The colour does exactly what it says - stays! Never will you have to worry about leaving the infamous colour lipstick stain on napkins, cups, food or, you know, people.
I've worn this everytime I've gone out and it stays for about 10 hours. The colour stays vibrant for the most part but is prone to crackage later on in the day so always have it handy if you want to replenish it!
It is pretty sticky so if you smack your lips too hard, you'll eventually pull off the colour and you will definitely need some elbow grease if you want to take this bad boy off!
For those ladies that love that matte look; apply some translucent powder.

I have been a dedicated customer of St. Ives for about 4 years now. I was into all of their face screams and scrubs and now recently I'm into their body lotions.
The body lotion is filled with alpine minerals and I cannot express how wonderful this smells! It smells like you've been in the mountains and you smell that clean, fresh, crisp air with the faint sent of floral. It moisturizes my skin so well and it feels soft and smooth and most definitely restored. Personally, I love body lotions that have a faint smell to it but for me, it's been hard to find that along with working as a restoring agent, so this is definitely a gem.
I picked this up at Shoppers for around $6.99 on sale, regular $8.99 which isn't that bad considering it's a 600mL bottle. They had SO many kinds you could pick from, so they are not to disappoint but this one was by far my favourite in terms of smell and quality.

I had gotten my Carmex lip balm in a kit for Frosh week at college and I've been in love with it ever since! I suffer from extreme dry and cracked lips from the bitter winter air as well as that nasty habit of licking my lip before going outside in the cold air.
The smell isn't too intensifying and doesn't have a flavour to it but it works wonders! It leaves my lips nice and smooth and kinda of tingly - a feeling that I almost always love with every lip balm I get!
Since I had gotten it for free, I'm not too sure on the price but after searching around I've seen that a single Carmex lip balm is no more than $3 which is super amazing for this quality of lip balm. Next to my Burt's Bees, is definitely my Carmex!

Sometimes I get a couple of Clinique products from my boyfriend's mother and I'm never disappointed! I'm always looking for moisturizers, especially night creams because you don't need to worry about oils when you're sleeping. This stuff works like a charm and is meant for sensitive skin, like what mine is. Not one break-out!
However, after doing a little bit of research, the price is pretty hefty! I'm seeing prices that range from $60-$75 which I'm not surprised since Clinique is a very popular and quality product line. Mine was just a sample product but the actual size of the product isn't that much bigger and, personally, I'd rather pay $70 dollars for a big tub of something that good!
If you have the money, then the cream will not disappoint but if you're frugal like me, it's best to just cross your fingers and hope for the sample in the Clinique bags!

I went to the drug store wanting to get just a plain-jane moisturizer for my face (as I get really dry patches on my face) but I came across this beauty! It's for all skin types and t's both a cleanser to remove dirt and make-up but also acts as a moisturizer. It's so soft that I never had to apply cream after using it and usually I do because a lot of cleansers tend to dry out my skin completely. It leaves my skin super soft and almost poreless which is great because I use this before I apply foundation and it leaves an overall flawless look.
However, this product was, I believe, $12.99 which isn't that bad but I had gotten it for $8.99 (all about those sales!). It's 200mL and you truly only need two dollops at the most to cover your entire face so that $16.99 could stretch a long ways.
I definitely would recommend this to a friend that has sensitive skin and wants to ditch those harsh makeup wipes and go straight to the cleansing lotion!
