Voortman oatmeal chocolate chip cookies are perfect for dunking in milk! Okay, like all the products I've had the chance to try in the Voortman brand, I loved these. First of all, I liked the texture - nice and crispy. Perfect, as I said, for dunking in milk (they don't fall apart in the milk, as some other cookies do). Second, the flavour is lovely. It tastes like something you'd actually bake in your kitchen - you can tell that they're made with real ingredients. I can't really explain what makes it taste home-made...it just does taste home-made. I think that's just what happens when you use real food ingredients.
Lots and lots of chocolate chips, which I like! Sweet, but not too sweet, which I also love. Tasted nice and fresh, too. Oh, and, although I #gotitfree on ChickAdvisor to try out, I would for sure buy it if I saw it in the stores, because it is a good sized package, so that makes it economical. I'm impressed with the low price, too. It seems that most cookies are either full of fake sugars and bad ingredients, or they are are natural but cost a fortune...but these are the best of both words: they are super-reasonably price, and still natural.
These have a lovely, home-style taste. I love that Voortman makes tradition-types of cookies, like something I'd bake myself at home. Would for sure purchase this in the store for myself, and my family.

These coconut cookies go perfect with coffee! I had the chance to try these today, and, I liked them very much. They were sweet, but not too-sweet, and that was a good thing, because it meant I could really taste the coconut. I love coconut, but I find that a lot of cookies with coconut in them are so overly sweet that you taste the sugar more than the coconut. Not the case with these cookies. Perfect. Also, it was just the right amount of coconut - not overpowering at all, but still very coconutty.
I also am very impressed with the ingredients! As someone who is trying to focus hard on eating better, I really appreciate this. There is nothing odd, or fake, in them. So many cookies have artificial sweeteners (which I avoid) in them that it's almost frustrating, because I feel left out of having treats. Well, now I don't. I will keep keeping my eyes open for these in the grocery store, because I love that there is a good-for-me treat out there. I like that these allow me to eat well, and still have treats.
The package is a good size, and so they would also be economical, too. I #gotitfree from Chick Advisor, which I really appreciate, in exchange for my honest review, but, for the future, when I go and buy them, I appreciate that they're a good, big size package for the price. I'm honestly just really pleased and happy that I got the chance to try out these cookies (the entire line of Voortman Bakery cookies is fantastic), because I wasn't aware of them prior to that, and now I am, and will definitely be purchasing them in the future.

These vanilla wafer cookies are perfect for snack time! These are a very nice treat. What I like about them is that they feel like the grown-up version of wafer cookies. Usually, I tend to associate wafer cookies with kids - I think of those bright, bright pink ones that taste like strawberries (they're good! It's just that neon pink food doesn't feel very adult). :-) Anyway, these are, as I said, like the adult version of those cookies. White-coloured, simple, rather elegant, actually. And the vanilla flavour feels that way, too - adult, mature, simple.
Also, they are super-duper fresh! I've never tasted wafer cookies so fresh, and crisp. They pretty much melt in your mouth. And the flavour is very nice; I like that the vanilla flavour is mild, not overwhelming. I also like that they are sweet, but not too sweet. They make a very nice snack, or treat, and I love, love, love the natural ingredients. These would be great for kids, too, because you could feel good about giving your kids a treat that isn't full of artificial ingredients, and artificial sweeteners.
I haven't tried to pair these with tea or coffee yet, but I think they would go lovely with a nice cup of either. With some tea or coffee, they'd make a great afternoon snack. Very impressed with these, and very pleased to see a company making a cookie with natural ingredients. I got the chance to #tryitfree with ChickAdvisor, but if I see them in the stores, I will definitely be purchasing them.

Voortman Strawberry Banana Wafers are a healthy, great-tasting snack! First of all, the taste is great - the wafers are fresh, and crispy...I was really impressed with the freshness, especially. You could just tell that it was fresh. The combination of strawberry and banana is lovely - it reminds me of a smoothie. And it was just the right amount of sweetness - sweet enough to be a treat, but not overly-sweet.
What impressed me the most was the natural ingredients. I've been trying hard lately to improve my diet, and this has included trying to eat more natural products. Having the chance to try out these wafer cookies at this time was perfect, since I'm trying to eat better. I checked out the ingredients before I tried the cookies, and I was impressed! Nothing strange, just good, healthy ingredients. I especially loved the lack of artificial sweeteners. I avoid those, and yet so many cookies have them. It can be frustrating...it almost feels like I can't buy treats, because so many are full of artificial sweeteners that I avoid. I was so pleased to find that these had no artificial sweeteners.
I would definitely recommend these. They are the best of both worlds - a great-tasting treat that I can feel good about eating, since it uses wholesome and natural ingredients. I appreciate that I #gotitfree to try out here on ChickAdvisor, and I will definitely be purchasing it if I see it in the stores. I'm not sure if it is out in the stores yet, but, when it is, I'll be purchasing it for both myself and my family.

I'm not a big pop drinker, but I do like to keep ginger ale around (for a treat, and for upset stomachs). I find that this one is my favourite, over other types. Why? Well, it just seems like it has more ginger flavour than others, which I really like. It is always fresh, the price is good, and everyone in my family enjoys it. We like to always keep a few extra cans around, to settle our stomachs during flu season, and it is a nice treat, too. The other thing I like is that it doesn't have caffeine, unlike other types of pop, which means I can have it in the evening without worrying that the caffeine will keep me tossing and turning. It is also absolutely essential for bus travel or train travel or...well, any kind of travel (the ginger helps with motion sickness). I enjoy the spicy taste very much! A good treat for movie and popcorn night. -

The first thing I noticed about this was that the scent was super-light; I really appreciate that! I get migraines, and I find that, sometimes, strongly-scented products can trigger those migraines. So many products are heavily scented, and this was very nice to find such a lightly-scented one. It's perfect - very light scent, yet still pleasant, and still made me feel like my hair had a nice scent to it.
The second thing I noticed was that it didn't leave any white residue at all. It sprayed on clear, and brushed out easily, and there was none of that white powder stuff that other dry shampoos can leave behind. I really liked that, because with the dry shampoos that leave that white residue behind, I'm always a bit self-conscious, because I feel like maybe people can see the white stuff in my hair.
The third thing I really like is.....that it worked! It did feel like it made my hair cleaner. Today I especially needed it, because I had didn't have a chance to shower (I was sick with a stomach flu, and just didn't have the energy to shower before work). I really apprecaited that it gave me a way to feel clean and ready for work, without all the time and energy of a shower. A life-saver, for sure.
I also like that it comes in a travel size. That would be really handy for travel, and, also, just for popping in my purse. Oh, and, another thing about the light scent is that it means it's okay to use at work, in the restroom. A lot of work places frown on heavy scents, since they bother some people. The nice thing about this is I could easily use it in the ladies restroom at lunch (if, say, I had been at the gym over my lunch break and felt a bit greasy) without worrying that the scent would bother others.
It left my hair feeling cleaner, and much less greasy, and it even gave my roots a nice volume lift. I really like the volume effect, because my hair is long and fine, so it can feel really limp when it's dirty. It did not make it feel tangly as some other dry shampoos have; it was very easy to brush, after.
It's a very nice product, and I would defintly consider purchasing it in the future.

This tea has been around for a long time, if I'm remembering right! It seems to me that I used to buy this, long before chais and lattes and all became all crazy-popular. It's a staple, for me. I'm a huge fan of Celestial Seaonsings herbal teas, and some I have have HAVE to have around, and this is one. One nice thing is it is caffience free, so can be had in the evening, without worry it will keep me up. It's flavour? AMAZING. It's both very sweet, and very spicy. I always add a bit of cream, and a bit of honey. It is pretty strong, so if strong spicy/sweet teas aren't your thing, you may not enjoy it, but for the rest of us....it's faaaantastic. The best way I can describe it is like a very strong chai, with extra cinnomen. -

I've tried a variety of their flavours, and enjoyed them all. What's nice is that they have very unique flavours of black tea, such a Peach, and Cinnomen, and Cardomen (this makes an excellent Holiday tea, in my opinion). Their tea is always nice and fresh, never stale. Price is reasonable, too. They make a lovely tea gift set in a beautiful wood box, which I bought as a Christmas present one year for my Mum. She loved it! -

I love these! Now that it's Christmas, it's time to buy them again. I already bought and ate a whole box. I love them because of the taste of hazelnuts (and a whole hazlenut in each chocolate!), and because they're sweet and rich, but not overly-sweet. The only (small, small) downside is that they can be a tiny bit on the pricey side, but, the thing is that you get what you pay for - these are super-good quality, the best of the best, and if I have to pay a tiny teeny bit for more that, then that's no problem. I would rather pay for something of good quality! I love the crunch that they have. Will continue to buy! -

So good! Now, keep in mind that my Mother is from the Southern U.S. (North Carolina), so, although I was born and raised here in Canada, I do know all about tea, because I grew up drinking it, and learning how to make it (in the South its what everyone drinks, all the time, and they make it just like this....they do not use that powered stuff, the use real tea bags, and pour it over ice, to make "sweet tea"). Anyway. I saw this at the store once, and I had to try it....well it is fantastic. It is the real deal. It tastes like the Southern-style, home-made tea that I make, that my Mom makes, and that my Grandmother made. The. Real. Deal.
I do like to make my own Sweet Tea, and I do make it, all summer long, but, lets be honest, sometimes it's nice to not have to make it myself, and to take a break, and, when I do, this is what I buy instead. It's perfect. It's natural, made with real tea, unlike that powdered stuff. Good for you, smooth taste, sweet taste, no bitterness, and a lovely hint of lemon.
