I was desperate for something to relieve my unusually painfully dry and cracked lips, since my go to lip balms were not providing results at the time, so I randomly grabbed my sample of L'Occitane Amande Milk Concentrate and smothered a generous amount onto my lips until dissolved.
To my amazement, within 5 minutes not only did I experience pain relief but i also could see and feel the skin healing right away. This cream truly provides effective hydration, which I was able to see through my extreme case of dryness. Unfortunately it is too expensive for me to use on a regular basis, but I would covet this as a gift and might even treat myself once in a while to purchasing this. I would also save it for occasions when I need intense hydration as other lotions are adequate for their value.
This hydration goldmine of a cream is not one to be overlooked!

Because the formula is so smooth and rich and clean - not clumpy, thick or underwhelming.
Because it coats each lash so evenly that the definition is visible resulting in a coveted natural false-lashes look.
It's High performance, beautiful application, and effortlessness in a bottle, and it made my lashes look like a pro did them.
I've never been so impressed with a mascara as I have been with this one and I would definitely invest in another bottle when I run out.

I first started using gel creams from a korean brand, and then here came along this product, which also ticked off all the boxes of what i like in a cream: hydration (hyaluronic acid), antioxidants (goji berries), and a soothing gel formula (great for summertime).
Unfortunately this formula did not agree with my skin, and left it feeling irritated. The product did not seem to penetrate as well as i'm used to and my skin was filmy to the touch.
This moisturizer was too harsh for my sensitive skin.

It may look like a small bottle compared to other brands, and it may seem like you may be getting less value for the buck as a result, but i assure you that you will run out of soap from the bigger bottles of other brands before you use up the Dawn dish soap!
It is amazing how many dishes (pots, plastics, you name it) I can wash before i have to change the water, it's simply that good at cutting grease. And the amount I use in a sink full of water is one small squirt.
Excellent value, excellent quality, above standard results.

I'm always on the hunt for a good waterproof makeup remover that minimizes excessive rubbing (disturbing delicate tissue around the eyes), is non-drying and effectively clean-slates my face.
Unfortunately I can't say this is the one. Since the water and oil components don't mix, even after shaking, you get the same result on the face - watery oily eyes that neither feel hydrated nor clean. It does however, remove waterproof makeup in the end, and 125ml is a generous amount of product.
Since getting it though, i've barely reached for it, opting for other solutions, so i guess that says a lot.

I have tried the original chapstick as well as a couple of flavoured ones from Burt's Bees and i find the original to be too sticky and not as smooth in application (you have to apply pressure then drag over lips), whereas the flavoured formulas are smoother but seem to have less bee product.
I find beeswax to work really well in protecting and moisturizing my lips, when the formula is right, and considering that Burt's Bees is usually pricey, I find it's worth it only if it's on sale. I personally have found cheaper no-name brands that have better formulas using beeswax. Not bad, but not great.

I started using natural toothpaste because the chemicals in the main brand toothpastes were causing inflammation in my mouth, especially the more costly ones that boast multieffects.
I chose The Green Beaver because it cost the same as the high-end toothpastes, and since then I never looked back! Here is why this toothpaste is worth it:
* it uses xylitol to clean the teeth, and believe me, it's so effective that my dentist is astounded.
* natural whitening/brightening ingredients means less chemical irritation to the gums
* many flavours to choose from - believe it or not, my favourite are the weirdest ones: Mint & Cilantro, and Anise (licorice). Other flavours include spearmint, cinnamon, orange, apple and peppermint.
This toothpaste is competitively priced, which is an excellent motivator to try it out and see the difference, as i had.
