DOUCCE Freematic Highlighter in Solstice
This highlighter makes my skin glow. Doucce has been making it’s rounds as a brand in beauty subscription boxes lately. My only complaint is that it doesn’t come in a compact, you have to pay more to get it in one.

Hey Honey Trick AND Treat: ACTIVE PROPOLIS CREAM CONCEALER
This is a very effective concealer. It is lightweight and buildable without being cakey! It’s made with active propolis. The ingredient honey bees collect from flowers while they’re buzzing around. I will definitely be purchasing this again soon.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Perversion
I don’t love pencil liner as a rule, but this one goes on smoothly and is long-lasting. It's easily removed as well. I would highly recommend this one.

I came across The Makers Keep located in Edmonton, AB last Fall. Katrina, the owner, had a concept to bring the "market" experience to the store. She only stocks local makers and has everything from home decor to Mom and Baby items, as well as jewelry and chocolate. It is a neat experience and always great to support small, local businesses. -

I have always wanted to sport a pair of faux-leather leggings and what better time then when you can get them for free (#gotitfree) from the #TWIK line at Simons, thanks to Chickadvisor. These are super trendy and chic and I dressed them up for a night out with a sweater and a chunky necklace, and dressed them down for a day at the office (high school - I'm a teacher.) I received SO many compliments on them and they washed so nice! -

Thanks the chickadvisor, I got to pick out this patch pocket cardigan from Simons' TWIK line (#gotitfree) Let me tell you, it was very hard to decide on a color. I'm usually more of a large, but I am short. I noticed this sweater is fairly long on the model, so I chose the medium size and it fits perfect. I chose the cream colour and it's gorgeous. I've paired it with black, red, green, grey, jeans and faux-leather. It's easily my favorite cardigan and it's become a staple in my wardrobe. It's very soft and cozy, but my only complaint is that it's gotten a little fuzzy. It washed really nice and I will be buying it and some of the other colors. -

I appreciate the high neck of the collar, but that it's not a turtleneck. It's the perfect piece to dress up with a sparkly skirt or to dress casual with jeans. It also washed really well. So I drink a lot of protein shakes in lieu of breakfast. I was happy to receive this vanilla shake flavour for free from chickadvisor and premier protein. I mixed this with my coffee and was in love with what I was tasting. Delicious. I do prefer to consume these cold as the taste is not as refreshing at room temperature. This kept me full until lunch. I will definitely be purchasing these on my next grocery trip. -

I was pleasantly surprised by the taste, effectiveness and nutritional value of my free Chocolate Shake from Chickadvisor and Premier Protein. I was nervous that it might taste like chalk, but it was enjoyably sweet, but not too sweet and the consistency was perfect. I drank this in lieu of having breakfast and it tied me over until lunch. I was impressed that there was 30 grams of protein and only 1 gram of sugar. I will definitely be purchasing these in the future. -
