I've been loving this deodorant so far. I love that it's a gel consistency and isn't a solid, so that isn't invisible and doesn't transfer white marks on clothing. It takes a few seconds to try when applied, but that's not a large concern/deal. It prevents offensive odours throughout the day no matter how active I get. The only issue I have is that it doesn't prevent wetness or minimize sweat in the axilla. -

I'm absolutely loving fitbit. I have the fitbit flex and it's easy to wear and use through the whole day. I'm able to tract my steps, distance, sleep and water intake (the main things I use it for). I like how you're able to set goals and it tells you how close you are to achieving it - therefore it's highly customizable. The only issue I have with it, is that sometimes the slightest arm/wrist movement causes the pedometer to count it as a step. -

I wasn't much of a sneakers/running shoes girl since my 3rd year of high school. After 7 years of footwear that wasn't sneakers or athletic footwear, I had finally decided to purchase a pair of Nike Free Run 5.0 (for both workout and casual wear). When I had first worn them and took them out on a long walk, I had thought 'where have these shoes been all my life' and 'why haven't I purchase these earlier'?! They're so ridiculously light and so comfortable, I had worn them for the majority of the week instead of my usual flats and flip-flops during the summer. I'm definitely going to purchase more of these in different colours in the future! -

I'm not much of a tanner, not that I easily can. With Jergen's Natural Glow, I was able to achieve a quick tan (from pasty white) within 24 hours. It was easy to apply and does not cause streaks if applied evenly. A darker tan can be achieved with constant daily use until you're satisfied with the shade. The only issue I had with this was the smell. It wasn't offensive or strong, but it was different and something I had to get use to since I was sensitive to smells. Also I'm not sure if it's because I have a slight yellow undertone to my skin, but when I applied to 2 days or more, it does appear to be slightly orange -

I'm not a milk drinker because I don't like the taste of milk, but I had needed a milk product with my cereal. I had tried brand of almond milk, but the taste was difficult to get use to and most soy milk brands contain majority of water + soy powder, making the texture off. When I tried coconut milk from this brand however, not only does it tastes great and familiar, it's a smooth consistency due to the coconut cream (not powder!). Of course I don't drink it by the glass and only add it to cereal due to preference, but this is a great milk alternative -

I was looking for pack of marker pens to use to organize my calendar according to college courses and to use for my class notes. A pack of 6 was on sale at walmart for about $9 and they were a great purchase. The ink doesn't bleed through the paper and had dried quickly and doesn't smudge afterwards. It also runs across the paper smoothly and doesn't dry out easily. Would purchase again in the future. -

I love Dove shampoo in general. What I though about the Dry Oil line was that it was heavy on the hair. It left a bit of oily residue that weight down your hair afterwards, which I'm not a fan of. The scent of the shampoo is amazing however (warning - it's strong for those who are sensitive to scents). But since it weighs down my hair, it's definitely not a favourite of mine. -

This is my favourite black tea and the only black tea I drink. I usually prefer green tea or mint herbal tea. Twinings has a good range of teas and I mostly prefer either their Earl grey or Lady grey. It has an aromatic taste that isn't harsh or bitter. I prefer to drink my tea without anything added to it (no milk or sugar... It may be strange but I grew up drinking tea without adding anything to it). I had tried other black teas (like English breakfast, Irish breakfast) but my taste buds doesn't agree with the taste or strength of it. If you're looking for a light aromatic black tea that isn't bitter or pungent, try the earl grey. If you want a slight fruity taste, try the Lady grey from twinings -

I was really skeptical when I first heard about Fresh lip balms. $30 for a lip balm... seriously?! (Btw, I live in Canada, so it's $26 the atrocious amount of tax) I was previously using Burt's Bees lip balms, in which costs me less than $5, so the thought of dishing out $30 for a lip balm, when I could use that $30 for something.. say a lipstick or two (or even 3 depending on the brand), was repulsive. I was able to get to try this though, when it was included in the Sephora's Superstar Favourites kit and I really like it. I wouldn't say I love it enough to buy a single full size one (0.15oz) at full price, but Sephora does bring out a trio kit that includes 3 balms that are 0.07 oz each that looks tempting. So the only single thing I hate about this product is the ridiculous price. However, I do love the packaging, the smell of it and how it lasts so long on the lips. It does moisturize my lips and makes them less chappy. So although I love the product, I obviously think it's not worth the price you have to pay for it. -

So I received this polish in this shade Ignite (dark red colour) in the Sephora SuperStar Favourites kit. I was really excited to try this brand of nail polish since I heard amazing things (excellent formula, great application, quick drying time, durability, etc.) about it from bloggers, youtubers, reviews, etc.
What I thought about it when I first applied it - first thin coat is slightly streaky (that's okay, happens most of the time)..., first coat dies to touch quickly..., second coat goes on evenly..., only needed 2 coats (YAY!)..., dries quickly (with Seche Vite of course)..., and the colour is gorgeous!
Now, I used to be the girl who changes her nail colour every week, however, it's sad to say that these past months i've gotten lazy with my nail care/routine so I now change my nail colour every 2 weeks. Normally I could get my nail polish to only have minimal wear at the tips after the first week and after that, heading into the second week it would seriously chip away at the tips and at the cuticle.
Sadly Formula X started seriously chipping on me half way through the first week (darn!). I'm not sure if it's just the colour I had, but it was difficult to remove (double darn!). The worst of it however... is that it stained my nails red... SERIOUSLY, it looks like my nails are bleeding (triple darn!!). I tried scrubbing my nails to remove the stain as much as I could, but the colour just wants to hang on there...
So would I purchase this polish again? NO, the polish itself is expensive and even some drug store brands are more effective (Sally Hansen, Revlon). I would rather dish out $7-$9 for the reliable brands like OPI, China Glaze and Essie. Would I ever use it again? Maybe. Only because I only had a single experience with this brand. I love the colour, the application and the packaging, everything else is questionable.
