I've always wanted to try pimple patches! These things help hugely in my avoiding squeezing and picking. They don't get rid of the pimple but they seem to bring down alot of the redness. I'll probably continue to buy them

This was the worst hair experience of my life! I went in after patiently waiting for 3 months of growing my hair to get my roots lightened. A previous hairdresser I visited 3 times was bleaching and toning to my dissatisfaction, so my hair was weak and brittle. I expected a single high lift process to be CAREFULLY applied to my regrowth area only. I would expect that a supposedly experienced hairdresser in a fancy downtown Toronto salon would know how to mix formula. Well he didn't, and my roots ended up orange, after the mixture was sloppily applied and was not checked even once in the 50 minutes it was on. As he was drying my hair I noticed it breaking off profusely, and the horrible orange roots looked even worse when my hair was dry. So he applied an ash toner - not just to my roots but to my entire hair that further damaged it and ruined my existing colour as he COMBED it through! And I was satisfied with the golden blonde colour of my length before, so he should not have applied this ash to it. After drying it and seeing even more hair break off, I tried to be positive as in the artificial halogen salon lighting my hair didn't look bad. But throughout the day, whenever I ran my fingers through my hair, it would break off in chunks. And that evening when I applied a deep conditioner, it was really coming off when it was wet. And the roots are still orange with an awful grey tone throughout my ends. And to make matters worse I have an important event to attend with my hair looking as it does, and with the holiday there is no other place open so I can get it cut so it looks even after all the breakage. I sent the hair dresser Ahmed an email explaining what happened, and that I should be entitled to a refund. This was the most I have ever paid ($145 without tip) for a root touch up, and the worst result I have ever had. His web site said the fee was $76. Of course he left me a message blaming me because my hair was damaged from before. Well....if he was an ethical professional, then he would have never agreed to colour my hair if he thought there was a risk of this happening. I honestly could have done my hair myself and it would not have turned out this bad. Now I am saddened that I am going to lose nearly all my length when I go in to get all my profusely damaged and discoloured hair cut off. I am disgusted and angered that this money grab salon does not even care about what happened. Its no wonder I was the only person there. BEWARE. -
