I was drawn to this cute lip and cheek pod in the cosmetic aisle at Shopper's and thought I'd give it a try. I bought the relatively neutral colour "Natural Light". I adore the packaging. Very space agey look to it which is unique. I found it to blend very nicely into my cheeks and leave a subtle, mostly matte finish. I used some of it on my lips as well, which gave me the perfect 'just kissed' kind of lip colour. I will definitely be buying this item again. -

That being said - I loved the way this serum made my skin feel. I definitely felt a difference after putting it on. After using it daily for 2 weeks, did I notice a difference? That's hard to say, to be honest...but my skin did feel nice. The scent is lovely as well, and not off-putting as other serums can be.

As a very fair person, sun protection is top of mind for me, regardless of the season. The challenge is finding sun protection that one can use in conjunction with a facial moisturizer. A cosmetician recommended this product to me - and I'm glad she did. It's a very light liquid, that absorbs rapidly. It's not greasy and does not leave a shine. I am then able to apply moisturizer and my foundation with no issue - safe in the knowledge that I have a base coat of SPF to protect me against the rays! -

I hadn't used a scented dry body oil before and so was skeptical as to his effectiveness and ease of use. As soon as I tried Nuxe, I was a convert! It has a lovely, light scent that I am happy to wear and am sad when it eventually dissipates. I only used it on my body, though I know you can use it on your hair. I didn't find it to be greasy at all, and it surprisingly didn't remain on my skin as I had expected. My skin felt luxuriously soft after using it. I have now happily added this oil into my morning repertoire. -

I was advised that this product could virtually replace my compact in my purse, in terms of removing shine. I do not have oily skin, and as such, have not used blotting papers before so as to be able to make that comparison. I do get some shine during the day; however, and typically use a compact which adds product to my face.
I thought I would pay the $29 and give this a try. I'm not entirely convinced....yet. It does seem to remove some shine...but...I feel like my compact makes me look a bit fresher.
I think if you had oilier skin, this would be a helpful product and you wouldn't end up with a pancake makeup look on your face as can sometimes happen. I'm going to keep trying it...my recommendation is hesitant at the moment. It does come in a cute carrying case though with a mirror, that you can slide into your purse.

I'd read various articles about the beautyblender makeup sponge, but wasn't convinced that it was worth the not inexpensive (~$30) price for an item that I typically buy a big bag of at the drug store. Nevertheless, when I saw it on the counter at a spa I thought I would give it a try. And I am glad I did. It blends my foundation superbly well. I tend to not apply very much, so with the addition of some water on the sponge I am able to obtain the perfect look for my face. After a few uses, I then used baby shampoo to clean the sponge and it was in perfect condition to use again. I highly recommend this item - the cost will prove worth it due to its quality and longevity. -
We have ongoing issues with dry skin and eczema in our house. We have ben using Aveeno every day, both the cream and wash, and we definitely notice a difference. It's gentle enough to use on the children as well, which is great.

I have very fair skin, and always have challenges finding coverage that doesn't give me an orange-y tint to my skin. Someone at Shopper's recommended the Cover FX compact to me, and I've been very happy with it. I use it both in my purse to touch up, and with a powder brush after I put on my makeup in the morning. The transparent colour is perfect for me, it doesn't leave a powder-y look on my skin and sets my makeup cleanly without shine. -

Eczema. The bane of my existence. I have had dry skin and eczema on one of my hands for years. I've tried all the various products with varying degrees of success. One day a friends told me to try the Spectro e-care cream. Wow. What a difference. It's now the only product that I use on my hands, and when I run out, I get very upset! No, it isn't the prettiest smelling cream, but fragrances are often the cause of irritation for sensitive skin. The most crucial thing, is that it works, especially as I see the snow falling outside and know the impact that the cold weather will have on my hands. -
