I have been using this mascara as my go to for most of my makeup wearing life. I have tried others - i.e. Falsies, notably. Since my lashes are long i might be easier to please. I tend to buy this one in the "blackest black" colour although I have also purchased the brown many years ago. I do not find it too clumpy (when it gets clumpy out of the bottle I know it is time to buy a new one, but it generally lasts more than a few months) and I don't have issues usually with the lashes sticking together. I find my best technique for using this mascara is to swipe the applicator around the sides of the bottle (no pumping), then wiggle (small side to side action) the applicator from the bottom of the lash in a continuous motion to the ends. What I really do like about this mascara is the shape of the brush - I like the tapered end as it gives me more control. I don't like when brushes are too one-dimensional or too huge. When the brushes are very fat I find I get more mascara on my skin than on my eyelashes. The tapered end is the best thing to pick up the tiny lashes at the edges that I cannot see. -

I was one of the lucky people who got to try this wonderful product for free! I wax at home frequently so I was happy to try out a new product. Overall the product did what it advertised, it removed hair cleanly and effectively. It's easy to use, just pop it in the microwave for 30 seconds, apply to skin, peel off and rinse the excess off with water. I used it a week ago and some of the hair has started to grow back so the results lasted about a week for me (not the max 4 weeks advertised sadly). It smelled very nice but at some points I found the smell to be too strong and it's not like regular waxes that i use smell bad. However I did appreciate that the scent adds to creating that spa atmosphere at home so it's not a terrible thing. I wasn't sure what the price point was for this product which is why i rated it a 4 but if it costs as much as other wax products (somewhere between 7-10 dollars I believe) then i wouldn't mind purchasing this product or recommending it to friends. -

I was also one of the lucky ladies who received the Harvest Crunch Quinoa bars for free to test. Quinoa is one of my new favourite ingredients to cook with so I wanted to give this a try. For some reason I thought it would taste more bland and boring but it was actually really good! It was crunchy and chewy with a hint of chocolate, but not too much though you can still enjoy the nuts and quinoa! At about 160 calories per bar it makes a nice healthy snack. I wouldn't say its any better than other granola bars both from the Harvest Crunch line or from comparable brands (i.e. nature valley) but its not terrible either. I would definitely purchase this product myself and I have recommended it to friends as a new product to try. The only thing that would stop me from purchasing this product was the suggested retail price of $3.49. It is a little on the pricey side, cause usually I can pick up a box of granola bars 2/$5 or $2.50 or less so I would probably wait for this to go on sale before I purchase it. -

Texture was kind of jellyish compared to other prodcuts that are more creamy, the smell was nice just like the shampoo. The only annoying part was the drying your hair before applying the masque. Sometimes if I shower quickly I just absentmindedly apply the masque without drying my hair. It's an extra step that kind of takes a little more effort than just a regular conditioner. Otherwise the product was simple enough to use.
2. Did you notice any changes to your hair? (e.g. smoothness, moisture levels, healthy appearance, etc)
I did find my hair was a lot smoother and softer. However it also seemed to have a filminess to it that i didn't know if it was due to using too much of the masque. There wasn't a specific instruction on how much of the product to use (i.e. dime size) so not sure if that's just the product.
3. How do these products compare to other hydrating or reparative hair treatments you’ve tried in the past (if any)?
Like the shampoo I found it was comparative to other masques I used and even conditioners. Hopefully I will see more results in the long term as I only used this product for 2 weeks.
4. Would you consider purchasing these products in the future and/or recommend them to a friend?
I wouldn't recommend it just because 30 for the product is too expensive, the size is too small and the results just weren't there. I can buy salon brands from the BSO for cheaper.

The product was easy to use (it is shampoo after all)! There weren't any confusing instructions or steps. The only comment I could make was that the ingredients/instructions were very tiny. I also found that the shampoo did not lather very well. I'm so used to lathering that I would absentmindedly add more shampoo. I thought that it might be a sulfate free shampoo, but that was not that case. Anyway after a few uses I got used to that, so it was not a a deterrent by any means. The smell was very unusual and pleasant (banana, pineapple, citrus, not sure?) and it came in a cute yellow bottle. However just to add, the bottle was pretty small.

I did feel my hair was more softer and seemed less dry than normal. The first couple of times I used the product I didn't use any of the products I put in my hair normally after washing it. I found my hair didn't appear more smooth unfortunately. It did however appear more healthy.

I've tried other similar products, including a masque by L'oreal and I found that the results were similar. I didn't notice my hair was so much more smoother or so much more hydrated after using these products. I found drugstore brands yielded similar results.
4. Would you consider purchasing these products in the future and/or recommend them to a friend?
For the price of 30.00 I probably wouldn't. I use drugstore brands and they've been working for me. Due to the size of the product and the results I would not buy it in the future. If the price lowered I would definitely consider it :)

To all those ladies out there who don't have this or want to get a refill I say hit up your local wal mart. Anyway the perfume smells great, and comes in a pretty pink bottle. Everyone loves it... only problem is the staying power is very weak (at least on me). That would be the only sucky thing about it. But i like it so much i ended up buying the gift set from wnners for like 45!! So you can see even with a not so great staying power i still love it that much!! -

I got the coupon for this from the review club and decided to try the Vanilla Carmel Chip ice cream bars. I love ice cream and did not want to be disappointed with something that I assumed would taste bad or like nothing, but I thought it was really good! If I didnt know better I would assume it was regular ice cream, the taste was very similar... so as a low calorie alternative it was really good. I would definitley recommed it to friends and I have. A lot of my friends are health concious or are on diets (including me), so this is something that we can enjoy while having the piece of mind its not all going straight to the thighs. I don't know if I would buy it again though, only if it was on sale. I found the product too expensive for my liking :) But overall a good choice if you are looking for a low calorie treat. -

I chose this place because it was cheaper compared to other places I was looking up (leg waxing). Also they were great cause they were open late. Anyway I got there and the service was great. Best part they were super FAST... i think they are self proclaimed fastest waxing in the city. Like i was in and out in 30 mins. Also Aala was really nice and gave me some great tips.
Another good part, Tues and Wed (i think) are also 10% off or something like that (call and ask I don't want to be quoted on this). So you save even more! wow!!

This place is really cute and has amazing fruit. I love how everything is so great looking, fresh and tasty. The only downers are :
1. Everytime I've gone theres been a lineup outside the door, if you're not in a rush/dont mine waiting then this shouldnt be a big deal
2. Service can be slow since its so busy. One time our waitress even forgot to bring us part of the order... we reminded her and she never brought it, probably got caught up with all the other customers.
3. Pricey-- some stuff is really expensive.
