I had the colour natural beige which I thought might be a little dark for my skin tone however the product goes on and blends very sheer so going up or down a shade might not matter too much. The product comes in a tube which I initially thought might be a little small (1 oz) but actually you only need a small amount of product anyway. I have been using this product daily in the place of my regular daily moisturizer after cleansing my skin. Like other tinted moisturizers I have used this is not to be confused with a foundation, it will not cover up any spots, scars, blemishes, etc. It's more for a natural look with a tiny touch of colour, you may be able to cover up some redness or very faint discolouration. I found the product very hydrating and moisturizing. It left my skin feeling smooth and glowy. It was simple to apply, just apply as you would a normal moisturizer and go about your day. The only thing I would like to see in the product is some SPF, if i'm going to be in the sun i would need to apply some sunscreen first and then this product, it would be great if this had some SPF in it as well. -

I usually wear mascara everyday when I am going out and on special occasions. First impressions I really like the brush with this mascara, i felt it really helped to apply mascara to each individual lash and also allow me to touch up the smaller lashes in the corners of my eyes which is hard to do with some of the mascaras that feature a more bigger brush. The product packaging mentions that it instantly volumizes, curls and offers an all day smudge proof wear. I did find that it volumized my lashes however i didn't really notice any curl (although it mentioned a natural curl). I still found myself using a eyelash curler before applying the mascara due to that. I am really fond of the fact that the product contains jojoba oil and beeswax because even your lashes need moisture and care! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a more defining brush and moisturizing mascara. -

I was able to try this product for free as part of the product review club. When applying to try the product I had indicated I would be happy receiving either the Juniper or Hyacinth version but I was secretly hoping for hyacinth!
I was really interested in this product because although I am familiar with micellar water for cleansing your face due to it being effective at removing dirt and oil. I have not seen anything micellar related for a handwash so this product struck me as unique and enticing from the get go.
The product is super easy to use, it has a pump that squeezes a good amount of foam into your hands, then you lather and rinse as you would normally. The hyacinth scent is really lovely and lingers on your hands afterwards. I got a really fresh clean feeling after each use and my hands did not feel dry.
I would definitely recommend this product for anyone looking for a new hand soap with a great scent and that is effective at getting your hands squeaky clean.

I have been using aluminum free deodorants for some time. I previously used kaia naturals takasumi detox in hopes of helping me adjust to more natural deodorants. Aside from kaia naturals i was using more drug store deodorants that were aluminum free that were cheap but not effective. I had a chance to use another natural deodorant recently and I didnt love the experience. However when I got this green beaver deodorant it was totally different in a positive way. Firstly texture is similar to other deodorant sticks, didnt notice any difference there. I believe the sample we received was called fresh but i would describe it as a sort of baby powder scent and very light (i was a fan). I found it kept my pits dry throughout the day. Due to covid i couldnt really test it with using a grueling workout but it seemed to work pretty well for some light pilates. In short compared to other natural and aluminum free deodorants i prefer green beaver. It works well, smells great and applies easily.

I received a sample of teapigs super fruit herbal tea as part of the product review club. I usually purchase tazo tea so this was my first taste of teapigs although I have heard good things. Firstly it comes in a cute recyclable box. As soon as you open the box you are hit with an amazing fruity smell. Instructions are pretty simple and standard for tea. I brewed mine and had a cup. It tastes fruity and refreshing. I am now more in the mood for the iced tea version with ice and fresh fruit. I have also had it with a bit of sugar for when you are looking for a bit of sweetness. What may make this tea different than your usual tea is that whole leaves. It is also mentioned that the tea temple is biodegradable so that is amazing! I think in the future I would definitely consider purchasing tea pigs again. -

I received a bottle of the garnier fructis repairing papaya treat shampoo for free from chickadvisor. Firstly the packaging is super cute and cool. It looks like a smoothie and the bottle is totally recyclable. When you open the bottle you get hit instantly with a wonderful papaya smell. I would say this would not be a shampoo for someone who is sensitive to odors as I felt the smell was very strong. I personally enjoyed it. I felt a little weird using the shampoo at first because it didn't lather or feel like other shampoos i used. I think this is due to the product not containing any sulfates which I believe give that lathering squeaky clean feeling. I reserved judgement until after and my hair looked and felt great. My only wish is that we were sent the partner conditioner (hehe I know I am greedy). I think this is a great drug store alternative if you are looking for a more natural shampoo! -

I received a sample of the My Clarins Re-Boost refreshing moisturizer as part of the chickadvisor ecobox. I have not personally used any clarins products before so this was a first for me. I found the product applies very smoothly and absorbs well. It also appeared to feel very matte and I have been using it before I apply makeup. In terms of scent it has a rosy scent which is really pleasant. I looked up the price online and it seems to be about $30 which i think is very reasonable considering I'm currently paying 2X more for my current moisturizer. I think this is a great product and will definitely purchase the full size container the next time I need to buy a moisturizer. -

I found at the time i first purchased it that I was waking up feeling really light headed, that's when I first decided to purchase some herbal teas. I found this one really helpful in settling me in the mornings with both the smell and taste of the tea. I know some people think it's a bit expensive (around $5 a box) but I think it's worth it. A note it is caffeine free. I don't really drink caffeine so that's how I prefer my beverages or I can be awake all night, however when i do want something a bit sweeter i add a bit of honey and it doesn't take away from the minty taste. -

I purchase the Tazo Chamomile tea regularly. I live in a household with kids so the cold goes around quite often and I drink chamomile regularly if I have a sore throat or any nasal congestion. I find that the Tazo tea tastes different than other chamomile teas i have bought (i am addicted to their unique blend) so you may find it an acquired taste, but I love it. I purchase the box from wal mart but it's available in most grocery stores and retails from about $5. -

Usually I stay pretty safe with my tea flavours but I actually picked up this by accident one time. It's one of my favourite herbal teas. When you open the box it has a really amazing smell of orange lemon (there are other ingredients I can't remember them all) but it's a really refreshing smell that carried over once you have a cup of it in front of you. I enjoy that it's the right amount of sweetness as I am trying to cut out sugar from my diet so this tea really helps with that. Just a note it's caffeine free :) I buy this flavour from my local walmart for amount 5-7$ a box. -
