i bought this on a whim as i needed some granola bars and these happened to be on sale at costco. The package indicates that there is 28% of your daily value of fibre in each bar. Each bar is about 130 calories and when i opened one it seems to be covered in chocolate. Like other reviewers noted it is a bit on the sweet side i think due to the excessive amount of chocolate drizzle. it could probably do with less and save us all some calories in the process. the caramely mixture that is used to hold everything together tastes a bit weird (not sure what exactly) it is made of. i was willing to pay a premium because this was fibre 1 but I was a bit disappointed in the product. -

I am a big fan of febreeze and the Febreeze Downy April Fresh (also known to me as the pink one) is my absolute favourite. It makes everything smell like fresh laundry. I usually spray my clothes with them if they have been sitting for a while (and no longer have that fresh out of the laundry scent. Like other febreeze products it comes in a spray bottle. Ensure that the nozzle is turned correctly or you could end up wasting some of the product. One bottle usually last me quite some time as it is 800 ML. If you are looking for a fabric refresher then I would recommend this one. I usually buy febreeze on sale or with a coupon which ends up being quite reasonably priced. -

I love peppridge farm goldfish crackers. They are a staple in my pantry. They are a quick healthy snack option. About 37 crackers in 90 calories so as someone who is currently dieting its a good option for me. Although they have a ton of flavours I prefer the cheddar, it's not too strong but still yummy. They bags usually go on sale for under 2 dollars but I end up buying the 1.64 kg box from costco for around $10. Although they are advertised for kids (probably because of the cute fish shape) I'm an adult and enjoy them thoroughly. Baked with real cheese, no artificial colors or flavours and low in saturated fat... how can you go wrong?? -

I received Schmidt's Lavender and Sage natural deodorant for free as part of the product review club. I was excited to try the product out as I have started to use aluminum free deodorants recently. I found that the scent was a bit strong which I don't mind but it seemed like the sage smell was overpowering and I don't know what better way to describe it than i smelled like my grandmother. In terms of the texture or application it seemed to go on a bit grainy, as I'm not familiar with natural deodorants I didn't know if this was normal but it was just different than a regular deodorant bar. I work out quite a bit and used this bar before working out and i found it worked quite well in terms of masking/reducing any smell from sweating. In terms of value I saw that the price range could be anywhere from approximately $10-$15 which is a but more than i usually pay for deodorant but seems around the price range that natural deodorants go for. -

I was excited to try what I think is a new product, the neutrogena hydro boost hand gel cream. I was already a fan of the hydro boost sunscreen which I have been using since last year. The product comes in a 85 g bottle/container/tube which is a similar size to other neutrogena hand creams I have used before. It has a nice light scent (kind of like clean laundry) which is very similar to all products in the hydro boost line. What makes it a bit unique is that it is a gel cream and contains hyalouronic acid which is supposed to help with moisturization and hydration of the skin. While I found the product acceptable, I currently use the neutrogena swiss formula and I think I will stick with that but the hydro boost is an excellent hand cream for someone looking for something with a light scent, fast absorbing and gel based. -

This is one of my favourite if not favourite sunscreen. My only gripe is that it is SPF 30 (LOL) I like at least SPF 50, but of course like all sunscreen products there is a range of SPF to choose from. I have combination skin and it can be especially dry in the winter months, this product is great for that since it contains hyaluronic acid which helps to keep the skin moisturized and hydrated. The product has a nice light scent and possibly a light tint to it (it didn't look completely white). It absorbs nicely into the skin and didn't leave it looking too shiny, I also think the claim that it doesn't leave a white cast/goes on invisible holds true, at least in my opinion, I didn't notice any dramatic changes to my skin tone. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for an affordable sunscreen that they can use everyday. -

I got to try the neutrogena all in one make up removing cleansing wipes as part of the product review club. I think it's a great idea to have individually wrapped wipes so you can keep a few in your purse, at the office, school etc. They are tiny probably the size of your palm so take up very little space. I also find sometimes that the wipes in a pack can dry out since you open the pack so many times so it's a great idea to have individually wrapped wipes to keep them moist and usable. In terms of the effectiveness of the product i found it took off most of my makeup including waterproof mascara however I would still wash my face afterwards with a cleanser (just my preference). The wipes are super efficient and easy to use and have a nice clean smell and soft texture. I look forward to purchasing more once I've finished my last one. -

I received this product for free as part of the product review club. I love Aveeno products especially their positively radiant line so was excited that they were coming out with some new products. I am also in general a big fan of serums (actually I couldn't find anywhere on the product where it said it was a serum but I am assuming it is) because I find my skin a bit dry and dull especially in the winter. I couldn't find a price for this but I assume its in the $15-25 range which I think is great for a drugstore serum... actually now that I think of it I can't really recall if there ARE any drugstore brand serums. Anyway the product is super simple to use, it comes with a dropper like applicator which you can use to dispense a few drops (it;s a milky like texture)and smooth on to your face. The scent is that light kiwi scent that we come to know from all positively radiant products. I have been using it since last week and my skin always feels super moist and hydrated when using it (followed by my regular moisturizer). I also did find my face more glowy and less dull, long term it should also help with the tone and texture of skin. So I will continue to use the product and am a fan already. -

I received the Maxglow Peel off mask for free as part of the product review club. I don't usually use peel off masks so this would be a new experience for me. The instructions were simple enough, to put a liberal amount on the face, wait 15-20 minutes and wash off. I want to stop here and say I love Aveeno products so this is a first for me....Firstly using my fingers to apply the mask, it was hard to wash off my hands after and left a weird residue. I saw on some youtube videos people use a brush so maybe this is a good item for aveeno to offer with this product? I thought I had put a liberal amount on my face as there was a good colour green on my face but once the 20 minutes passed and it was time to pull off the mask it was extremely hard to pull off and left my skin red in some spots (maybe my face is too hairy LOL). It also doesn't come off like they show on TV, its very patchy and you have to sort of scratch at the skin to find a piece to start pulling off. Again I am new to peel off masks so maybe it is just my inexperience. I will try again with more product next time before I give up completely. If I have to use more product next time I am a bit concerned because the product is small so I could see it getting used up quickly. However this is probably ok if this is a once a week experience. So although I can say I did not have the best experience, it sure exfoliated the skin! -

I was chosen to try this product for free as part of the product review club. I was excited to try this product since (especially in the winter) I have very dry or dry patches of skin so a moisturizing sleep mask was very appealing to me. The packaging is very similar to the existing positively radiant products (green and white). It had an interesting/unique applicator in that you can turn the applicator to on and apply directly to your face. This is great so you are not using your fingers and it's no wonder the product is called "no mess". I found that the applicator could be a bit improved in my opinion as i got thin lines of moisturizer going down my face, but once you get a good amount of product the applicator head can spread the product over your face easily. I woke up the first day GLOWING (no pun intended) you could tell my skin was hydrated. I intend to use this product a couple of times a week as I have other night time products that dry out the skin. The product is about $20-25 dollars which I believe is standard for aveeno positively radiant products. -
