So, Veet sent me a free sample of this. I'm a 41-year-old woman and I've never waxed anything, except maybe poetic. I have a fear of such products; I always thought they'd be terribly painful as I ccan only think of the hair being yanked from the body, but these were surprisingly only mildly annoying on the pain scale.
Now they claim to be easy, and I bet if you know what you're doing they are, by the last few strips I had really started to figure it out, but my overall ineptitude did leave a few patches of hair still in place. When I was able to follow all the steps correctly (it shouldn't be hard, there are four, but I do like a challenge), it works well.
My only complaint is more of a warning, they do have a strong smell and I had to send the used ones to the outside garbage to stop sneezing. I was fine while I used them, but sitting in the trash can gave a certain smell to the whole room.
The sample came with a coupon and I will definitely be using it to give this a second go with a bit more skill and less fear.

I got this as a sample and was impressed. I am a coffee snob, I'll be up front about that. We roast our own coffee beans in this house, so even liking a pre-ground coffee is weird, but it's not bad. If I run out and need an emergency coffee, this... +

If I run out and need an emergency coffee, this will be my go to, especially if they do a whole bean. -

I got a sample of this in the mail and used it as a face cream (don't judge me, skin cream is skin cream, the rest is marketing). I have sensitive skin and was a bit worried because of the strong scent, but it didn't trigger any reaction. I put it on my face at night and woke up with my skin actually looking refreshed. I've never used anything that did that, no matter how much it claimed to. What's more is that I am using less than half of what I was before, so although it's more expensive, it'll last longer. I have their website open now looking to buy more. -

My skin was constantly itching, I was putting on lotion several times a day, scratching my back on door frames, dignity had left long ago. I found this, in the pharmacy, not with regular bar soaps, and I needed to try something. Within two washes with this, my skin went back to normal. I love this. It's a little under $6 a bar and worth it. When I told a friend about it, I had forgotten and told her it was $10 a bar and worth it. It's worth $10, but only costs $6. What a deal. It's very utilitarian: no dyes or scents added, so it's not pretty and it smells vaguely of oat (it doesn't linger on your skin, so who cares, I'm not made of sandpaper anymore). It lasts much longer than any bodywash (I'm at a month on the first bar and it's maybe half used up) and has much less waste, just a small plastic bag inside a cardboard box (is that plastic bag really needed, AVeeno?) -

I'm one of those animal lovers who gets their pets all the natural, artisanal single ingredient snacks, but got this as a free sample. And wow the difference. Usually my cat just licks the salty tops of her snacks and bats them to the floor for the dogs to eat like a lord to their Medieval peasants (and the dogs with their lack of shame and pride are like, "Thanks for the snacks), but not with these. With these she smelled them on the counter by her food dish, but came to me, but would look over at the counter, eventually gave up on my attentions and stared glassy-eyed at the counter, up on two legs, trying to see if it's a trap, but lets face it, she was hooked. I'm very likely to buy her these cheap, definitely not organic, mass produced snacks again. -

This is exactly what I would expect Canada Dry to think of as premium. It definitely has better flavour than a 2liter of tonic water, it does have quinine, but not much. If you're looking to up a basic gin and tonic, this will due, but the bottle size is wrong, it pours about an ounce over two G&Ts;, not great for a mixer, so although you are getting more than you would in a Fever Tree, you are getting more, um, useless product--it's not like you can even recap it to save for the next drink. Premium tonics are a once or twice a summer splurge for me, and I probably wouldn't get this for one of those splurges. I did get a free case of this to try for this review and I must say, they are probably not pleased with that choice now. -

Yeah, yeah, cleans dishes, tough on grease, saves wildlife after an oil spill, the usual, we all know this. My mom tells me of the time back in the '70s she used it after her parakeet fell into the cooling deep fryer. Bird got burned, and covered in grease. The vet told her to wash it in Dawn and so the bird lived for many years after that.
Cut to now. I toss it with some water into the ultrasonic cleaner and toss in a bike chain from time to time and the chain is suddenly like new.
Great product, multi-function, hasn't really changed since ever. Quality, reliability, two things we need more of. You keep being awesome, Dawn dish soap.

Ivory has been around since the dawn of time. it's your dad's soap, I know, but after my high end expensive bar soap got discontinued I had to replace it quickly, during a pandemic; I'm not going to a lot of stores. So, I got the Ivory bar soap, the aloe because the original smells like old man, and I would have to say it's got a really pleasant, light, almost citrusy smell, it cleans, it's natural...and 8 bars cost the same as one of my previous bars (and each bar is bigger!). It may not be vegan (spoiler: it's animal fat), but it is natural ingredients. -
