Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer
A great alternative to lipstick without the harsh smell or fear of leaving it on your beau. I always keep one in my purse, keeps lips soft and a perfect pop of fresh colour. Love the 'Watermelon' tint if you have lighter or soft skin tones.

I just started trying Yoga Tree as the studio is conveniently located around the corner from my work. I have pretty high standards when it comes to a yoga studio and would highly recommend Jason's (the owner) classes. He is the best teacher at the studio by a long shot! Jason's classes are challenging and fast paced with a thoughtful flow that is often missed by some yogis. Each transition to a new posture makes perfect sense and is almost choreographed like a one hour dance. I have had several 'ah ha' moments in this class, not I have not been able to find at other studios. I cannot speak more highly of his Monday 5:15 class if you are looking to advance into those tricky postures.
The room temperature is perfect in the reduced heat classes (not too hot, not too cold, just right!) so that you can get your sweat on with internal heat and an extra boost from the heated room for some added flexibility. The studio is bright and open so I find this studio is good for energizing yoga classes (sleepy yogi's beware). Bonus points for the FREE lockers with combo lock included, free herbal loose leaf tea that changes monthly, and fresh design. Oh yah and its eco friendly! Only downside, no cleaning spray for your matts.

Tula yoga is by far on of my favourite yoga studios in the city. They have the perfect balance between zen calm and female warrior kick butt classes. Think dimly lit candles, modern music to let you day sweat away and highly trained staff who aren't afraid to let you giggle in those semi-akward moments. The staff at the front desk are very friendly and knowledgeable, all the while remaining understanding of each individuals yogi needs. I have been to many yoga studios in the city and Tula is the only studio that knows each customer by name! As a former dancer, I heart their flow classes that keep up a fast pace and challenging postures. Grace's class is a must! Personally, I think Tula Central has the best staff but the secret is out as their classes can get very busy (with the after work crowd), I would recommending arriving 15-30 before each class. Tula West is 2nd in my books but has bigger studios, more space beyond your matt and the best Buddha collection to get you in the mood pre-class. Haven't made the venture to Tula South yet. -

PLEASE, do not wear it head to toe.. be original. Its definitely a store that took me awhile to get into because I always thought you had to be 6'4 long and lean to wear these clothes.. but really it can be great if you are trying to hide alittle tummy. I recommend their baggy t-shirts with deep V's paired with your own jeans, boots and a long necklace (think kensington market, Courage of my Love). Ok, and here is a helpful hint if you love those spandax leather tights.... FIRSTLY, please pair it with a classy dress and high heels to balance out the rocker/prep look which I love. SECONDLY, beware, it is sooo hot and sticky in those spandax that its not for a dancing night on the town.... choose wisely! -
