I love the idea of a lip stain but after trying CoverGirl, Rimmel, and Maybelline products and having no success, I was ready to call the search off. Well geesh, I'm glad I didn't!
No lie, I've literally been wearing my Joe Fresh Lip Tint's for over 2 years now. I'm addicted and constantly get asked how my lip color stays all day! I apply once in the morning, maybe a touch up at lunch, and it's still there when I wash my face at bedtime! The best part? You can apply gloss right on top if you're not wanting a matte look that day, and it won't affect the staying power at ALL! You don't need a lip liner or anything!
For under $6 each and a beautiful array of colours to choose from, you can't go wrong with these little suckers ... or should I say puckers? ;)

I wanted to try a new mascara as I've been a faithful CoverGirl Lashblast user for years now. I'd heard great things about NYC mascaras, their formulas are gentle on your eyes, not tested on animals, and their products are super inexpensive! They have quite a few to choose from so I went with their waterproof option, NYC Show Time.
I loved everything about this mascara except the applicator wand. If I could replace their wand with a fatter one like CoverGirl uses for their Lashblast, I'd be in heaven. This mascara stays put all day, I never once had dark circles under my eyes! And unlike some waterproof mascaras, this one comes off easily with a few swipes of makeup remover. The price was dynamite too, I believe I paid around $4 with tax!
I'm still using my Lashblast, I just can't seem to get used to the NYC Show Time wand!

I've been using this bronzer for over 2 years now and I doubt I'll ever go back to the expensive Physician's Formula product I was using before. For under $5 at Shoppers Drug Mart I get this amazing bronzer with the perfect combination of matte and shimmer.
This product comes in two colours, Blond and Brunette. I use both as I'm a fan of self tanner. When my self tanner is fresh, the brunette bronzer gives me a perfect, beachy look. And when I'm doing day to day makeup and my self tanner has faded, the blond shade is beautiful and gives me a natural, fresh glow.
Honestly, try this product out, for $5 you can't loose! I've switched MAC, Smash Box, and Physician's Formula users to this product; you won't be sorry!

This is my makeup find/steal of the summer! At $4.50, Forever 21 has outdone themselves with this plumping lip gloss. Not only does this plumper come in a handful of beautiful shades, but it actually works at plumping your lips! The taste of the gloss reminds me of cinnamon hearts and I love how this product isn't overly sticky. The large application tip makes for easy application and no need to shove the applicator in the tube 500 times!
All in all, this product is amazing for the price you pay! I've used better lip plumpers yes, but they cost over $25 each! Forever 21's lip plumper works almost as well and is a fraction of the cost of the big beauty brands!

We've all seen those Kim Kardashian contouring videos and I'm not ashamed to admit that this product has transformed me to a contouring junkie! Applied to areas of the face where light naturally hits, this product not only conceals dark circles/dark spots, but lightens and brightens everywhere it's applied. For a daytime look, apply under your eyes and down the ridge of your nose. For a night look, go all out and contour your cheeks, cupid's bow, forehead, and brow bone! Be sure to purchase a shade lighter than your natural skin colour, and I prefer to use clean fingers for blending, but some people prefer a contouring makeup brush.
For just under $10 at Walmart, this product is a steal! It rivals MAC and Smashbox illuminating concealers I've used which cost upwards of $30! However, you might as well pick up 2 at a time, there's not much in those little tubes! All in all, this one of my all time favourite drugstore beauty finds and a staple in my makeup bag!
