We received this Gabby's Dollhouse Gabby Girl's Purr-ific Pool playset for free to try in exchange for our honest review from Spin Master and Butterly #gotitfree. The concept for this toy is really cute and it has some fun components but unfortunately it wasn't very durable or stable because of some structural flaws. Only 2 of the 4 seaweed pieces that hold up the main platform snapped into place; the other 2 wouldn't fit and had to be left loose. The light blue ring that goes at the top of the slide is also loose and will stay balanced for a bit but falls out after a bit of playtime/movement. If Spin Master fixes these 2 flaws (which I think wouldn't be too hard to do) then this toy has the potential to be 5/5 stars. The cat figurine and Gabby doll are very high quality and detailed. They don't have that cheap plastic smell which is great. They change colour with warm water, the cat turns pink and Gabby's tail turns blue. The pool and slide are a lot of fun! There is a little double sided picture wheel under the pool that kids can spin and see through the bottom of the pool. All the extra pieces and accessories are great, especially the pool floaties and our favourite is the squishy octopus that you can fill with water and when you squish it the water sprays out. Overall, the concept is great but I would not buy it again and can not recommend it unless they fix the structural issues. -

I think it's really cool that the foaming bath has epsom salt in it even though it's a liquid. The black elderberry scent smells really nice. I thought it would be more herbal but it is actually nice and fruity. The bottle is really good at giving you control when pouring the product into the bath; even though the opening is big the perfect amount comes out nice and slowly. My only critique would be that I wish it made more bubbles. I feel like I ended up using a lot of product to get the amount of bubbles that I wanted. My bath was nice and relaxing. My skin was soft and smooth when I got out of the bath. I love that it has Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Black Elderberry and other essential oils. -

I received this Dr Teal’s Black Elderberry Epsom Salt for free to try in exchange for my honest review from Dr Teal's and ChickAdvisor #gotitfree. I have to say out of all the epsom salt brands I have tried Dr Teal's is now my favourite. It smells amazing! It made my entire bathroom smell like berries in a beautiful way that wasn't overwhelming (kind of like it would if I lit a candle). My bath was relaxing and eased my pain. My skin was soft and smooth when I got out of the bath. I love that it has Vitamin D, Black Elderberry and other essential oils. The packaging is great; the velcro seal it comes with is very easy to close (I did it with one hand) and the seal itself is air tight. This is perfect to prevent any messy spills and also preserve the freshness of the product. Overall, I would buy this product again and I can't wait to see what other scents and products they make. -

I received this Soothing Eye Makeup Remover for free to try in exchange for my honest review from Clean & Clear and Butterly #gotitfree. I wear makeup every day including eyeshadow, winged liquid eyeliner and mascara. This eye makeup remover worked really well for me! It removed everything easily and actually saved me time because it was faster to remove using this product compared to the product I used to use. The remover has a very runny/watery texture. I wish the bottle was made with a smaller opening so you have better control of how much product comes out. Remember to shake well before using so that it gets all bubbly because that helps it to be able to remove makeup more effectively. It's oil free but it still feels very "oily" when you apply it, this is great for breaking down makeup but it does mean you need to rinse your face with warm water afterwards. I have dry and sensitive skin and I like that it didn't dry out or irritate my skin. I find a little goes a long way so this should last me a while. -

We received this Gabby's Dollhouse Cook With Cakey Kitchen for free to try in exchange for our honest review from Spin Master and Butterly #gotitfree. The kids and their friends are having so much fun playing with this and it is keeping them busy for hours! The kitchen can be enjoyed by anyone regardless of whether or not they have seen the show. We love that it comes with a little Cakey Cat figure from the Netflix show. It comes with 23 pieces/accessories including a toy pot, pan, spatula, cup, food pieces and more. Everything is really high quality except for the cardboard milk carton that keeps coming undone and being creased/dented. The 11 cakey phrases and 2 cooking sound effects really make it special and help bring it to life. There is a sizzling frying pan sound when you turn one of the knobs on the stove and a water boiling sound when you turn the other. The sounds and accessories combined really allow a child to get immersed and let their imagination run wild. The play set comes with a small recipe book that shows combinations of the make-believe food that can be combined together to make a "meal". It is the perfect size! The box says over 3 feet tall but doesn't say the exact height. It's not too big and not too small. It's small and light enough that I can easily move it to different rooms. We even brought it outside for a bit (if you do this remember to not leave it outside because some of it is cardboard and rain will ruin it). It's simple to put together without any tools (except a screwdriver to put in the batteries) everything snaps together and is very sturdy once assembled. It did take me 30 minutes to put together so it's best to assemble this before giving it to your kids (probably while they are sleeping). The set has no small pieces therefore no choking hazards and things won't get lost as easily. Overall this is an excellent quality play set that any child would love to have. -

My brother mainly tested this product (I also used it a few times) and it was really nice. It lathers up really well and smells amazing. When you first squeeze it out of the bottle the sage + cedar scent is pleasant but very strong (in a good way not overwhelming) and fades and gets lighter as you wash. It is perfect because after you leave the shower the sent doesn't linger so you don't have to worry about it clashing with cologne or other products. he likes that its moisturizing and that you can use it on your face and body. Also It does a good job at washing away sweat and dirt without making your skin dry. The bottle says it has biodegradable cleaning ingredients and that its paraben and phthalates free. Overall a good body wash, he would buy it again. -

I have never had a bad experience with a sheet mask and this one is no different. I enjoy taking the 15 minutes while I am wearing it to relax and feel luxurious and pampered. This mask is very hydrating because it is infused with approximately 1 bottle of serum. With the main active ingredients being hyaluronic acid and vitamin C my dry skin absolutely loved it. It left my skin feeling soft, smooth, plump and glowing. I love that it is vegan, biodegradable and paraben-free. Tip: rub the extra serum from the packaging onto your neck and the back of your hands! -

I received this micellar water for free to try in exchange for my honest review from Garnier and ChickAdvisor #gotitfree. This is the second micellar water that I ever tried. The first was from Clarins and it really didn't work for me so I had low expectations for this Garnier one. Luckily Garnier blew me away and totally changed my mind about micellar waters. I used it on 2 cotton pads and it removed all of my foundation, blush, lipstick, eye shadow and eyeliner no problem. It struggled a bit when it came to the mascara but by just holding the pad on my eye and soaking my lashes it eventually removed all of my mascara as well. I love that it's quick and easy with no need to rinse your face afterwards. It's perfect for removing makeup on lazy nights and for camping! I have dry skin and one night I was too tired to follow up with moisturizer afterwards but this actually provided some moisture and didn't dry me out. My skin was fine the next morning. I love that it's vegan and has no oil, alcohol or fragrance. I like the antioxidant benefit from the vitamin C but in terms of brightening I haven't seen results yet, maybe I will over time. I am very impressed that this didn't sting or irritate my dry sensitive skin. Going forward I will be buying this Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water! -

I usually don't use a toner in my skincare routine so I was really excited to try this product. I applied it using a cotton pad after cleansing my face. Unfortunately I don't really feel like it did much for me or lived up to the claims on the bottle. The bottle says to "cleanse, tone, moisturize, and impart a natural glow to your skin". I found it didn't visibly cleanse; my cotton pad looked the same as it did before I used it, no gunk was removed from my skin. I also didn't notice any glow to my skin. It did make my face soft without applying moisturizer which was nice but nothing special because my moisturizer would have done the same thing. I do like that its pH balanced and that the ingredients are vegan and 98% from natural origin. Overall its kind of meh, I will finish the bottle but I wont repurchase it. I don't really feel like the benefit of soft skin is worth the time of adding an extra step to my routine. Everyone's skin is different so while it didn't work for me, it may work for you. -

This is a really pretty mascara, I find it makes your lashes look volumized and fluttery. The formula is wet and thin meaning it darkens the lashes but doesn't make them thick or clumpy. Also it separates the lashes really well. It really is a nice "your lashes but better" mascara that gives a natural look. I also love that the wand is thin and easy to maneuver; I like this wand better than the bigger thicker wands the other Maybelline mascaras have. I wore it with and without eyeliner and I think it looks better without eyeliner. If you use it without eyeliner your lashes really stand out and look great but, with eyeliner they blend in and can be harder to see. This is perfect for the natural no makeup makeup look and as an everyday mascara. I especially like it for days when I am running errands because it's quick and easy to apply and it helps me feel put together without a lot of effort. -
