I’m always looking for the perfect deodorant so when Chic Advisor asked me if I’d like to try this, I was in! Growing up I used a lot of the drugstore brand deodorants and I always found they irritated my under arm skin and sometimes only mask the odour. I started looking for more natural solutions in the more recent years, since every little bit helps when it comes to what we absorb into our bodies! I’ve tried a couple different “natural” options and after an all day wear test of the products, I usually found I needed to reapply. The Schmidt’s products are Certified Vegan & Cruelty-Free, aluminium, paraben free and actually neutralise the odour! One application lasts all day, which is fabulous because the last thing I want to do is reapply my deodorant. Lol
Rose + Vanilla Mineral Enriched Natural Deodorant: Rose is probably the bottom of my list of favourite scents, but I found the mix with Vanilla added the perfect touch. The vanilla definitely softened the scent. I was pleasantly surprised and actually really ended up enjoying this one as well! I’m so glad to finally have a natural alternative in my life that actually works!

I’m always looking for the perfect deodorant so when Chic Advisor asked me if I’d like to try this, I was in! Growing up I used a lot of the drugstore brand deodorants and I always found they irritated my under arm skin and sometimes only mask the odour. I started looking for more natural solutions in the more recent years, since every little bit helps when it comes to what we absorb into our bodies! Sage + Vetiver Schmidt’s Hemp Seed Oil Enriched Natural Deodorant: I’d say this is my favourite of the two I was kindly sent. When it comes to my deodorant products I tend to lean towards the stronger herbal scents, they smell so fresh! I also found this one had a bit of a tingling fresh feeling after I applied it. I’ll definitely be picking this one up when I run out! I’m so glad to finally have a natural alternative in my life that actually works!

I was excited to be invited to review the Joico Zero Heat Air Dry Styling Cream through Chick Advisor!
This was the perfect time to try a styling product created for dry styling. I’m usually one to have a pretty long process when styling my hair – washing, round brushing, curling and using all the products in between. But since I’ve been just washing and not styling, this dry styling cream was perfect! My hair is naturally straight, but with years of colouring and heat styling it has given it a bit of a wave.
All I did was towel dry my hair and add about a quarter size amount through my hair. I scrunched it with my hands a little and let it air dry. The result, was a smooth finish with a little bit of volume – perfect for an every day look!

COVERGIRL LashBlast Volume Mascara
Love this tried and true mascara! I have very straight lashes, so once I've curled them, this mascara really holds the curl. It adds a lot of volume and the curl lasts all day!
