I bought this at Loblaws for $6 tax. It can be used as a mascara and a brow gel. I have used it as a mascara a couple of times and it's great for people who want to curl and set their lashes without a pigmented mascara for a more natural look. I use this to set my brows and it's a great dupe for higher end clear brow gels. It tries clear and keeps my brows stiff and in place all day. It doesn't flake on me, but I use it sparingly so that's probably why. I would have preferred if the wand was more narrow though since it would be easier to maneuver over the tapered parts of my brows. -

For the price point ($4 each or 3 for $10) and the amount you get (3.3g) these are great shadows. They definitely are not super high quality like Urban Decay or Yaby Cosmetics, but they are really good for being a drugstore brand. Like almost all eye shadows you will get the best colour payoff by using a primer with these. With a primer the colours are very vivid and they last all day with minimal creasing. I personally prefer the more shimmery colours than the matte ones, but that's because having a darker skin tone with very dark eyes shimmers always look better than mattes. My favourite shade that I own is Gold Rush. -

I was pleasantly surprised with this product. I have very pigmented lips, and one lip is darker than the other so I often have to use lip stains or lip primers to get lip products to come off as their true colour. This product was incredibly pigmented and I was so happy that I can use it on its own. Many other lip stains, including high end ones like the Benefit Benetint, do not compare to the pigmentation of this one. The Joe Fresh lip stain is also much more long lasting than others I've tried, even through a meal.
I especially like the marker style of the applicator. It makes applying the product really easily because you literally colour in your lips. It's also somewhat buildable so if I want a darker application I allow the first coat to completely soak in and then apply a second coat. My favourite shades are Apple and Watermelon.

I received this product in a sample size (12g) in a Vasanti Cosmetics kit and I really love it. It is a paste that is packed with tiny beads that really buff off the dead skin. I felt it really buffing my face and it left my skin feeling incredibly smooth the first time I used it. I didn't have any irritation or redness after using it. It is really effective and instructions on the container recommends not using it on a daily basis. I have dry skin so I used it every other day in the winter to get rid of my flaky skin, but as the weather warms up I've been only needing to use it a couple of times a week. I use a pea sized amount of product for my full face. The sample size has lasted me three months so far and I'm halfway done. The large bottle is pricey ($34 for 120ml), but for the quality of the product I think it's well worth it. -

I recently found out that Mary Kay was no longer cruelty free so I was on the search for a cruelty-free replacement that was more readily available and was cheaper alternative. I bought this Burt's Bees cleanser at Loblaws for $11.99 and I love it. It has a creamy texture and has a nice tingling feeling when applied to the skin, which leaves my skin feeling cleansed and fresh. I have dry skin and I found that after using this cleanser my skin does not tighten up during the minute or so between patting my face dry and applying my moisturizer. I also love that this product is cruelty-free, paraben-free, sulfate-free, petrochemical-free, 100% natural, leaping bunny approved and certified organic. -
