I also noticed there is about an 80% turn over rate after going too school and starting in the Aesthetics/Hairdressing world. I went too school 10 years ago with about 30 girls, graduated with them and there is only 2 of us out of the 30 who still do it. Most went off too go back too school and be a teacher, nurse, etc. Building your own salon or being a manager etc is the best way too do it. As your usually working Min. Wage or Commission. And when your just starting off Commission is hard too do as you have zero clientele. So many people are turned off by it and try a different career.

Yes you can make a career out of it and a very successful one if you put your mind too it and work hard. It takes awhile too build a firm clientele base, but if you are good at what you do and have a great personality its really easy too do so. I started in a Salon first too work on building my clientele then those people followed me in my own home doing my salon. Word of mouth keeps building it and social media posts as well.
