I have naturally curly hair & the stylist suggested this product specifically to avoid "crunchiness" that can occur with mousse. I use about a quarter-size squeeze of product & work it through my towel-dried hair, then use a diffuser. If I miss parts of my head then I get frizz. But, the product does help to define my curls, and true to her word, there is no crunch factor. Maybe I'm cheap but I paid $25 for a bottle and I'm sure I can find something that works just as well for less. -

The version I have has no fragrance or tint, so it's a good basic all-around lip balm that gets the job done. There are many other variations that do offer different shades but for me, the #1 is all I need. The packaging is bland enough that either sex can use it too. The price is a little steep, I think it's $9/tube but it will last you 6 months. Just don't leave it in the car on a hot day otherwise it'll squirt all over you & stain your clothes. -
