So I received this product for free in exchange for my review. I first want to start off with just how hard this was to find in my area and I was only able to get my hands on a bottle last week. Now, I do think the concept is really interesting but it just wasn't for me. I can't really put my finger on exactly what it was that made me not enjoy this product but i think it's about ratios. I like being to control in how much of each, lemon or garlic, goes into a dish.
Sometimes it need to be more garlicky, but the lemon is perfect, or visa versa. If you add more, then the lemon becomes overpowering and so on. I tried 2 of the recipes in the little booklet that came with the coupon plus added the product to another 2 of my own recipes. Personally, I think it tasted best with shrimp and fish. I'll finish what's left but I don't think I'll be repurchasing

So I received this product for free to review and I could tell before I even tried it that it had to be something good because it was sold out everywhere for weeks! I finally got my hands on a bottle not too long ago and I got to experience just why everyone was buying them up. Full disclosure, I'm not a huge Caesar drinker but there's just something about having an nice cold one while sitting out on the deck on a beautiful, hot day. And this Clamato Reserve totally lived up to that experience. I can't do heavy spice due to a digestion disorder but this had the perfect level of heat for me that it didn't irritate anything. And it was balanced with a sweetness that really complimented the heat.
My own downside to this was the price. For what you get, it does seem a bit overpriced. I'm not sure if I would switch over to this for our regular Clamato mix but it would certainly be a nice treat every once in awhile.

This one was tough for me. It's not like I did not like the product itself. It was good for what it is, a physical exfoliator. I, personally, just don't chose to use this type of product because I don't like to take the chance it will damage my skin. I generally prefer a chemical exfoliator instead. But, for the sake of this review, I did try this product for over a week and here are my pros:
- it's effective. My skin felt clean of dirt and makeup after use (although I ever tried it on waterproof makeup as I didn't was my eye lids with it)
- a little goes a long way
- packaging is cute and doesn't take up much room in my shower
- I believe it helped create a brighter complex by scrubbing off all the dull, dead skin, plus impurities
My cons:
- it can potentially damage the skin permanently, such a creating hyperpigmentation
- its a bit pricey for how much product you receive, compared to similar micro polishes
- it has a scent
Overall, this was my least favourite product unfortunately.

Out of the entire Bright Boost line, I actually think this was my favourite product and I was super excited that I got to try it free for my review. Here are my pros:
- decent spf level with 30 - its definitely high enough that you know it will offer some good protection
- it absorbs instantly and doesn't leave any weird residue on the face after application
- I've yet to see it effect any of the makeup I put over top, nor any strange cast to the face in pictures
- the scent is super light and doesn't really smell like sunscreen, which is nice
- its priced affordably considering how often you would repurchase it
Cons
- the bottle could be bigger. While it is the cheapest product in the line, its also the one you will probably use up the quickest if using it every day and with appropriate reapplications. I would probably just buy two at a time
- this is the one product I didn't really see any brighten effects with, on it's own
- I didn't really get a huge moisture boost with this and still had to put a gel moisturizer over it to keep my skin hydrated throughout the day
- its scented (might be unavoidable with this type of product but still, people with sensitivities would probably have to avoid it)
Regardless of the cons, I still really enjoy this product.

The second product in this bright boost line I reviewed, I was, again, happy with the results. My skin looks super pretty after applying it, I can definitely see the extra glow. Over my pros were:
- love the texture, very silky
- made my skin seem to glow from within
- super cute bottle, totally in love with the rose gold, and its great that its made of glass to protect the integrity of the serum itself
My cons were:
- once again, its scented (I have no problems with scent, and this one is light, but it removes an entire population from even being able to try it due to sensitivities)
- I'm not a huge fan of the bottle. I found it tricky to get enough product in the dropper itself
Overall, another win.

Always super stoked when I get to review a product like this for my review. These days especially, I seem to be getting more and more into skin care so this came at the perfect time. Now, having combination skin that leans more towards oily, as well as being dehydrated, I have to be super picky when it comes to moisturizers. I tend to stay away from anything with a creamy base and much prefer gel formulas. So I was super interested in trying a cream gel. Here are my pros and cons of this one.
Pro
- packaging is super cute for the entire line. Love the rose gold
- the texture is lovely, super silky and instantly smoothing for the skin
- absorption is decent, depending on how many products are on the skin underneath it (while I tested this product line out mostly on its own to determine whether I saw benefits or not, I did try it a couple times while integrating my normal skin care routine into it. Placed on top of some of my serums, it would get pretty tacky and remain that way until I washed it off the next morning)
- I feel like, together with the only products, it definitely brightened my complexion
- Don't need a lot of product, a little goes a super long way
- didn't make my skin feel extra oily by the end of the day
Cons
- it's scented (Personally, I have no issue with scent, and this one is actually quite light, but I know a lot of people do and therefore, would not be able to use this product)
Overall, a win from me.

So I #gotitfree to test and review for Chick Advisor and, well, it was ok. I've tried the vanilla flavour in this product before and I can definitely say with certainty that the caramel is a step up flavour wise. The biggest draw for me for this product is the high protein level. It is definitely one of those drinks that if you're on the go and don't have time to stop and actually eat, this will help satisfy your hunger and cravings for a decent amount of time. You also can't beat the fact that it is so low in sugar, calories and fat. That really is fantastic and you can have these guilt free on a regular basis. My only real gripe is the consistency. When I think protein shake, I think of something that is thick and milky. This one is the total opposite. It's like drinking flavoured water. Now if you're into that or consistency just isn't an issue for you, I would wholeheartedly recommend this product. -

I'm always doubtful of all those stain fighters that fill the laundry aisle at the grocery store. When I received a decent coupon and saw that this product was also on sale, I figured why not give it a try since it was so cheap. Well, I was not disappointed! Two things about me make it necessary that I have a good stain fighting product. One, I love makeup, which means I wear foundation, pretty much daily. Since I have yet to find a brand that is completely transfer resistant, my foundation makes it way onto most coats, scarves, sweaters and shirts. And secondly, I love white. Something about snow white and utterly pristine clothing just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Until it is not longer so. There is nothing classy about half your face coming off on the collar of your pure white coat. In comes Oxyclean to save the day! I bought mine in the liquid form spray bottle. Couple squeezes on each lapel, then wait 10 min, through everything in the wash and viola! From baked bronze back to wintery white. I was super impressed! Definitely will continue to keep this stalked in my laundry room -

Now this is one product that I was super stoked to give a try! Being in my mid-30s, I am noticing more and more of my super fine lines are not quite a fine anymore. In fact, my brow lines are getting so deep, you would think I'm always frowning! And just like most other woman who starting the process of aging gracefully, I would like to slow the wrinkling part down a touch. Anyone who even has a cursory knowledge of skincare has probably heard about retinol and its benefits. Now about this product in particular, I actually really like it. I see a slight difference in the my frown lines, and alone my jowl lines. They do look like they been plumped up and much smoother. And this was only using it once at night for two weeks (more about that below). I'm curious to see how long that will last if I stop using this product or at least slow to like a maintenance regimen. It is a fairly pricey product although I assume its likely on par with more retinol type products. For the amount you use though, 4-5 drops, especially if only once a day, I think it will last you a decent amount of time, making it kind of worth spending 40 or so dollars.
Now, as to why I only used it once a day, and this is really my only negative point. It is unbelievably greasy on the skin. I 'm not sure if what they were going for was the product to stay on top of the skin and not fully soak in, but I hated it the first time I tried it in the morning before doing my makeup. Even with the stickiest primer I own, putting foundation and concealer overtime of this was just wrong. I have combination skin, I am used to foundation breaking up in my t-zone area. But when its also doing it on my forehead and my cheeks, there is a problem. The oil base to this retinol just wont allow for other stuff to stick. I don't know if there is another step I could take after applying this and before putting on makeup to make it right because if there is, I would love to know it. On the bright side, I think just using this once a day, at night before bed, can be just as beneficial as using it twice a day. For that reason, I would completely recommend this product and I will likely keep purchasing it for my night time routine

I received this product for free to review and at first, I was definitely excited. I am at the age where little wrinkles are starting to appear. My major target areas for this skin care test were my frown lines, jowl lines and this super irritating wrinkle that has quickly appeared on the skin just above the bridge of my nose. I tried this cleanser the night I received it and as soon as I pumped it onto my fingers, the disappointment came. I thought it was a chemical exfoliate, not a physical one. I checked the ingredients to try to determine what exactly is doing the exfoliating but I couldn't tell just by looking. I know its nothing natural, like walnut, and the particles are fairly small, which give it a gritty texture. The thing is, I stopped using all physical exfoliates when I heard from more then a few dermatologists how damaging they can be to the skin. They claim that it can cause micro tears that can possibly lead to early aging skin, plus hyper-pigmentation. I suffered for years with super red cheeks and couldn't understand why, when I was taking such good care of my skin. After discontinuing physical exfoliates, I saw a marked improvement in about 6 months. So I am quite leery about adding a product like this into my face care routine. I just don't think it's worth it, especially when this product is just meant to prep your skin for the retinol. Any good cleanser should be able to do, and for probably a heck of a lot cheaper. I also really did not enjoy the scent. I feel this is one of those products that should probably come unscented. Its definitely not one I can recommend unfortunately -
