I have normal to oily skin and tend to need a primer that can effectively stop the excess oil from coming through.
It seems like silicone-free primers are really hard to come by. The Nude by Nature Perfecting Primer applied smoothly, just like a silicone primer. Although it is white in colour, it did blend in nicely to my skin. It does stay slightly tacky on my skin though.
One thing that knocks it down a rating for me is the scent. I do not like the sweet, almost candy-like fragrance.
Another issue is that normally, I would like to give it a try in really hot weather to get a true indication of whether or not it will last all day, but on a mild winter day, oil appeared on my skin by mid-day. I will not be purchasing this in the future for that reason.

Unlike the rest of the flavours in the Mott’s Fruitsations lineup, the flavour Tropical applesauce was not a hit with my kid.
When I added it to her lunchbox, she came home saying the she didn’t like the taste. Mott’s applesauces are a staple in our pantry so this surprised me.
After trying it myself, I think that the pineapple was too prominent and too sour, perhaps? I think while it’s a good flavour for me, it might be too ambitious for my child. I like the nutritional value and no added sugar, so I will continue to purchase these, but I will not be repurchasing this flavour solely for her.

It covered my regrowth and gray hairs. The nozzle is small enough to deliver a precise application and the colour blended well.
Unfortunately, I did encounter some downsides. You have to avoid touching your hair, it stained my figures when I accidentally touched my head. It rubbed off on my light colour shirt (something I would expect anyways). I only use sulfate-free shampoo, so it took some scrubbing of my scalp to remove the colour.
Just a couple of tips: it’s hard to see, but if you are looking for the instructions the back label is double-sided, so just peel up the bottom left corner. Also, you might need a sulfate shampoo to completely rinse this out. It might be helpful to apply the colour to a toothbrush, then brush that onto your hair to avoid applying too much.
I work in the film industry, so I can see using this for a quick touch up on set. I also see using it if I am styling my hair in a high bun where my roots might show.

I appreciate the nutritional value in these. Only 1 gram of sugar and just 160 calories! I took the Premier Protein Shake in Chocolate to enjoy on my morning walk.
I liked the flavour much better than vanilla, but I still detect an aftertaste, although it is not as strong. Despite the nutritional benefits, I will not be purchasing this flavour in the future. I am open to trying one of the other flavours, like caramel or strawberry, should they become available in Canada.

I had high hopes for the Premier Protein Shake in Vanilla. I love that it has 30 grams of protein and I thought it would be a great addition to my morning smoothie to add more protein, something I sometimes lack due to being a vegetarian. However, I couldn't get past the aftertaste. Even with fruit and kale added, I could still taste it. Perhaps it was the sucralose. As such, unfortunately, I will not be adding this to my grocery list.

The pros of the eos Crystal Lip Balm in Hibiscus Peach far outweigh the cons. When I went to open the package, there was a film around the edges as though it was leaking. This does make me think that it might not be the best product to bring along to the beach in case it melts. I also found it a little difficult to open (not having used eos products before) and the shape is awkward to carry. That's where the cons end. The hibiscus peach flavour is best described as pleasant. It's not overly powerful, but still manages to last a while. While it doesn't leave my lips extremely glossy, I see that as a pro because it agrees with the weightless claims. My lips feel smooth, soft and definitely not waxy. The biggest bonus is as a vegetarian I appreciate that this product is not tested on animals and includes natural oils. These are not as filling as I would have hoped. I would have liked them to be similar to a granola bar, and not a breakfast bar.
I'm conflicted on whether or not I will buy these. I think I will try them one more time, but they are a little pricy at $4.99 for a package of 5 because of how small they are.

While some people might not like that these are individually wrapped, I found it convenient to take along for my early morning meeting.
I really like the Good & Simple Fruit + Fibre muffins. They have a soft, but chewy texture and the right amount of sweetness. While I thought they were delicious, my DH felt like they could have use some butter to enhance the flavour.
I am happy with the ingredients used to make these and also the low (in regards to muffins) calorie count seeing as how muffins can have up to 600 calories in just one. The price ($4.99) is also in line with similar options at my local Metro.

At first bite, the Lemon Poppyseed protein bar has a dry, chewy texture. Not unappealing though. It is not an overpowering taste and is authentic. The yogurt coating was delicious. I am not crazy about the presence of palm oil as an ingredient though as it is a saturated fat that is not recommended for frequent consumption. I was, however, happy with the 20g of protein and only 3g of sugar.
