I recommend this in only some situations. If you have only a small acne problem, then go ahead, but if you're having a full scale acne issue, please just go to the doctor. I found this only mildly helpful, and in some situations (like when I was on acne medications) very drying. As a ongoing maintenance product, this and the whole acne solutions set works, but on a person who has mass breakouts, its better to just save your money for something clinical, because this probably wont do the trick. I like using this on my t-zone, and still find it helpful, but when I was having extreme acne issues, it only made things worse. -

I love MAC eye shadows! They were the very first eye shadow I ever purchased, and I still buy it often. I feel that MAC is very much the introductory premium cosmetic. They are easily accessible and are a very solid eye shadow and they wear well, and last a long time, and are very easy to make opaque on your eyelid (depending on the colour, though generally they are). If you're looking into branching out from drug-store makeup, this is the place to start! -

I like dove products in general, but as their flagship product, I find the beauty bar a bit lacking. The scent is somewhat overpowering for me, and despite what they say, I find that it leaves a film on my skin after I've washed it off. I actually like some of their seasonal scents more than the regular one, simply because after a while this scent has gotten a bit dated. As soaps go, I'm happy enough to use this when it's around, but it isn't my top choice. -

After receiving this in the mail today and using it for the first time, Batiste's dry shampoo is a great quick fix for those days where you just don't have time to wash your hair.
I got this product for free through the product review club but I haven't had as much time to test as I'd normally like to, but I will base this off of my experience with this product today. I used this product on my hair, which is quite thick and dark and has not been washed for two days. I found that it left my hair smelling fresh and feeling very soft. I noticed right away, however, that despite being designed for brunettes, my hair still had a slightly ashy look to it after brushing it for quite a while, though after about twenty minutes, it seems to have gone away. I'd be very interested to see how the non-brunette oriented versions compare. I also noticed that my bathroom counter is covered in a fine layer of dust from this product, so I wouldn't recommend using it while wearing black or dark colours.
The scent of this product is quite mild, and is fairly similar to most hair sprays, so I didn't find it too overpowering. I have never used dry shampoo before, but I found this very fast and easy to use. From start to finish it took less than five minutes to spray through my hair and then brush it out. I definitely can see myself using this in the future, as my hair takes a very long time to blow dry, so this is a much simpler solution. Though there are a few cons (the ashy colour and the residue left behind), the benefits of this product far exceed them. I can definitely recommend the use of Batiste's dry shampoo! #gotitfree

Essie has been my go-to for nudes and pastel colours for a while. I feel like this is really where they excel. They generally go opaque in 2 coats and with a strong topcoat, they last for a long time. I haven't really tried many of their shimmery colours, but I've found that they aren't as strong as their solid colours. I love to pair an Essie nail polish with a gel topcoat. When I do this, I can generally get at least a week out of the nail polish, and I'm not easy on my nails, I pick at them a lot, so this is a long time for me! I buy them when Shopper's Drug Mart puts them on sale, that's the best time to get them! -

This kit is expensive. I'm going to start off with that, just to get it out of the way. I really had to think about it before I invested in a gel nail lamp. I've been a big fan of keeping my nails painted since high school, mostly because it was what finally stopped me from chewing my nails. Regular nail polish at my old job (at a warehouse) was awful though, and chipped after 1-2 days, and I could never keep up, so I finally decided to use gel.
I bought this kit over the others out there because hey, it's just a light, and I figured this one was cheapest, but it's been great. I love using it. Even the nail polish it came with is great (though the light pink takes a few three coats to go opaque). My gel nail polish usually lasts me one week (not the two it advertises) but that's mostly because once I notice it peeling or chipping, I take all of it off, whereas most people would probably leave it longer. This has greatly improved things for me, and even when I'm hard on my nails, these still last way longer than regular nail polish and topcoat. I really recommend it. Try getting it done at a salon first, if you're still not sure!

I think it's probably all of those reasons. Perfect store bought cookie. Don't tell my grandma. -

These treats are delicious and good for you, I absolutely love picking up a pack of these fruit bites and taking them with me to work or just for snacking on the at home. These little guys are gluten free, nut free and vegan. I love that I can read the ingredients on the back and all of them are words I can actually understand! I'm also a big fan of the berry flavour and tend to grab both bags for when I'm on the run and just want a quick and healthy snack. -

This isn't my favourite scent, but I love the product and it works so well that I tend to overlook the scent. I discovered this tea while I was in the middle of a horrendous cough that seemed like it would never end. I swear I blew through an entire box of this tea before that cough ended. It was the only thing that seemed to help me sleep. There is always this one stage during a cough where it seems like every time you try to lay down you start coughing non-stop, and this tea was amazing for helping you get past that hurdle. I very stupidly bought this tea from Whole Foods, so it was expensive, but I do know most grocery stores carry this tea, and probably for much cheaper than what I paid, but man, this tea is a life saver. There's another similar one called throat coat, and I'm very much interested to try that one the next time I have a cold! I also really like the Nighty Night tea, so I haven't found one of these that I haven't liked yet! -
