The John Frieda Shampoo comes in a 250ml aquamarine/black flip top tube and is easy to open. The first thing I did was sniff the scent and I thought it pleasant with a floral/fruity aroma but I was not sure exactly what the fragrance was and when I looked at the ingredients I was disappointed to see only chemicals listed and no flower or fruit extracts named. The packaging states it ' Strengthens fine hair to maximise volume & vitality... with Protein-Strength complex, brings protein-deficient hair into balance by unlocking a new level of volume.' I was keen to try this as I have very fine hair and I have tried other volumising products with varying levels of success in the past. My experience with the product, is that the shampoo is a good consistency, not too runny and is easy to apply. It produced a good lather and washed out easily. I did then go on to use the conditioner and volumiser so the end result was a combination of using the 3 products. After the first time of use I was pleased with the result which definitely increased my hair's volume and made it look thicker and stronger. I did think my hair was less shiny than usual but I have found this can be a trade off when trying to achieve volume so was willing to live with it. However, when I used the products for the second time, I finished off with a paddle brush and cold blast and this did make my hair shine more. I am very pleased with the shampoo and will continue to use it. -
Lip Motivation Matte 187 is a Coral Pink colour. Although it is a matte it does not feel drying and it delivers on its promise of fuller and smoother lips. It went on smoothly and I thought it would be a good colour for daytime and Summer holidays... +
Lip Motivation Matte 187 is a Coral Pink colour. Although it is a matte it does not feel drying and it delivers on its promise of fuller and smoother lips. It went on smoothly and I thought it would be a good colour for daytime and Summer holidays. The design of the packaging is fantastic. It is in a chunky case with a press top release which opens with a satisfying 'clunk' when you press the Lancome Rose. This means no accidental opening to spoil a handbag or the precious lipstick!
Top marks for a lovely, innovative design.

This scent is not for the faint-hearted. It is a heady mix of Black Rose, Vanilla Orchid, and Lychee Praline with notes of Strawberry and Raspberry. When I first applied it, I thought wow this is sweet but after a few sniffs I was hooked. It has a seductive quality and it just pulls you in. I think it works best as an evening perfume as it is sophisticated, sultry and sexy . A little goes a long way and I found it lasted for hours. I thought the bottle was very pretty, a black diamond with a cute little black bow and would look good on your dresser. If you want to get noticed, this is the scent for you, no shrinking violets need apply! -
