I have been using Vichy products off & on for years but have yet to try most of their ant-aging products. Therefore I was excited to try out LiftActiv Supreme for Dry Skin. I am at the stage where I should start using anti-aging moisturizer to help combat fine lines. The cream itself is in a not-so convenient jar for application but it is simple to apply to the face...I just wish it came in a tube or pump bottle. The cream itself has a nice smooth feel but I did find it too thick and heavy especially in the midst of a summer heat wave. It absorbed easily into my skin but within a few hours it felt like an oil slick on my face. Therefore I only use it before going to bed . Its too early to tell if has reduced signs of wrinkles or puffiness but I plan on continuing to use LiftActiv Supreme cream. I would most likely purchase this as a winter moisturizer and do recommend it to others. -

I have been using Vichy products off & on for years but have yet to try any of their eye care products. Therefore I was excited to try out LiftActiv Supreme Eyes. I am at the stage where I should start using eye cream to help combat fine lines and under-eye puffiness. The cream itself is in an easy to dispense tube and is simple to apply around the eye area. The cream itself has a nice smooth feel and is not greasy. It absorbed easily into my skin and didn't affect my foundation. Its too early to tell if has reduced signs of wrinkles or puffiness but I plan on continuing to use LiftActiv Supreme Eye cream. I would definitely purchase this and do recommend it to others. -

I literally received my free protein shakes to sample the day before I left for my vacation in Asia. Therefore, I wasn't able to try them until I returned home a few weeks later. Good thing I had them on hand as I got both food poisoning and the flu within a week of each other, These shakes were lifesavers for me as I needed nutritious fluids to drink. I loved the chocolate flavour...the drink itself is smooth & creamy with no chalky taste. I just wish that these protein shakes were lactose-free as I am lactose intolerant. No big deal though as I just take a dairy supplement with it. I would definitely recommend and purchase Premier Protein shakes in the future! -

As a Chickadvisor premium member, I received a bottle of Le Petit Marseillais' Orange Blossom Extra Gentle Crème body wash and absolutely loved it! Therefore I was excited to have the opportunity to try out the White Peach & Nectarine Extra Gentle Shower Gel. I liked the option of the gel as it is lighter than the crème. The scent is refreshing without being overpowering. The gel lathers up well either on its own or with a body scrubber. It does a great job of cleansing your skin without leaving it dry. I will definitely this purchase and do recommend this brand to anyone who is interested, -

I received this product as part of my Chickadvisor Premium member package. I sometimes use a brow pencil to fill in my brows as they are thinning out a bit as I age. I love the fact that No Bare Brows has the removable sharpener and brush as both features are very convenient to have attached to the pencil. No more digging around my makeup bag or in a drawer to find the sharpener or brush! The pencil itself glided on with no problem and provided great and lasting coverage. I did find the setting wax to be a little on the thick side and I did have to work it in with the brush. I would consider purchasing this product and do recommend it to others! -

I'm always looking for new options for protein bars and was excited to try out the PowerBar ProteinPlus Reduced Sugar ones. I enjoyed the texture and mouthfeel of the bar as it wasn't too chewy or dense. I found the peanut butter flavour to be lackluster but liked the crunch of the peanut bits. The only downside to the bars is that they have lactose in them. I do have an intolerance and discovered that I had to take a dairy supplement or the bars would give me an upset stomach. No big deal but lactose free bars would be nice since a lot of people are lactose intolerant. -

I was excited to try out the PowerBar ProteinPlus Reduced Sugar lemon poppy seed bar as I am always looking for healthy but tasty protein bars. Protein bars have a reputation for being dense and tasting chalky. This is not the case with this bar! It has a bright lemon flavour that's not too overpowering.I also liked the texture that the poppy seeds add to the bar as they add a nice crunch. The consistency of the bar itself is soft and not too chewy. I would definitely buy this product and do recommend it to others! -

Gold Peak Iced Tea has been available in the United States for years so I was excited to try this product now that it's in Canada. I tried the unsweetened brewed tea and also the lemon flavour. Unfortunately both left me unimpressed! Both flavours tasted flat and not of an authentic brewed tea which I did not find refreshing or pleasant. I would rather spend my money on Pure Leaf Iced Teas which are much more flavourful and have a true brewed tea taste. -

I was lucky to score a FPC to try a bag of the Nature Valley Crunchy granola and chose the Oats 'n' Honey flavour. I was pleasantly surprised to see when I opened the bag that the pieces are a larger size which means that this granola is perfect for snacking at home or at work. The last couple of days, I've been bringing it to work in a baggie to nibble on at my desk. It's also great with yogurt or as a breakfast cereal! I will definitely re-purchase this product maybe the cinnamon flavour next time...and I do recommend it to others! -

I have been using L'Oreal's Evercreme Cleansing conditioner for a couple of years now. I have thick, dry naturally curly hair and was in need of a product that could cleanse my hair without drying it our or stripping the natural oils. The product itself is in an easy to use pump dispenser and has a vey pleasant almond fragrance. It doesn't lather up like a traditional shampoo does so you do have to work it into your wet hair. I just leave it on my hair for a while like a conditioner while showering. It's really easy to rinse out and I am always impressed with how soft my hair is afterwards. I definitely recommend this product to anyone who is interested! -
