I got a free sample to review New Chapman's Super Premium Plus Cold Brew Coffee Ice Cream. I had a bit of a hard time finding it, but I am glad I did! This was waaaaaay better than I thought it would be. It's so smooth and creamy on your tongue and mouth. It has a very pleasant texture and great taste of coffee. It's a well balanced hit of coffee and creamy. It's not too sweet or too strong, it's just right! It tasted the way I want my coffee taste hot or cold. I truly felt like I got a great cup of coffee except it's ice cream. It leaves a nice flavour in your mouth that lingers in a nice way. For fun I also tried some with a bit of chocolate sauce and I instantly had a mocha sundae! Loved it that way too. I think it would be great with a slice of Tiramisu. I'm looking forward to making a milk shake with it too. Even my husband who doesn't like coffee enjoyed. My kids loved it too. My only complaint is I wish it was also available in a larger size because it's so good that you don't want share a small tub. Another winner from Chapman's! We also tried the Chocolate and Brownie which was also awesome. Looking forward to trying some of the other flavours in the line. There are 8 flavours in total. I received Hello Fresh Citrus Deodorant with Shea Butter for free to try and review for Butterly/ Chick Advisor. Hello Fresh Citrus is very well named because it's exactly that! It's a great citrus scent without being overpowering. A very natural scent, not artificial smelling. It's refreshing and clean. I could just sit and smell it all day! It goes on smoothly and easily. Having Shea Butter in it is a nice bonus for your skin. It doesn't feel heavy, sticky or greasy like some, actually I barely feel it's on my skin and I like that very much. I love that there are no parabens, alcohol or aluminum in it, things I try to avoid in products. Wonderful to see the container is made of recycled materials. Even the container feels nice and comfortable to hold and touch. I feel like the brand really tried to make everything about it appealing to all your senses. I was very happy with everything about this product. I'm very glad I got to try this and highly recommend it. I look forward to more scents in the future!

I received Shu Uemura Ultime8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil to try for free and review. First off, I didn't like that they used dark print on a dark bottle and packaging, especially on such a tiny bottle. No other instructions were included. I couldn't read the little bottle and had to contact Chickadvisor on how to use it. It has a very light, pleasant smell. It's a light oil, not heavy or thick. I used a small amount and applied to my face and add water to emulsify as I was told. It felt a little oily of course but not too bad. I rinsed my face with water. Within just a few minutes my face started to tingle, feel prickly, almost a slight burning sensation. I rinsed again. The sensations continued but with itchiness. It took about 20 minutes or more for it to stop. It wasn't horrible but not pleasant either. My skin did feel good after the sensations all settled down by about an hour later though. I'm not comfortable to continue using it. I have only ever reacted once to facial product like eons ago, so it must be an ingredient in this particular product that doesn't agree with my skin. So unfortunately this is a miss for me due to a reaction. -

This is for age 12+ but we included my 7 yr old and he actually got the first letter card of the game! Sure some questions were hard for him but we didn't want to leave him out. He still had fun and enjoyed the idea of the game. My other 2 kids are 14 and 12. They had questions too that they didn't understand or know answers too. A few questions even threw me!🤦🏾♀️ Once we got into a rhythm, it was really fun! I love trivia type games and enjoyed this. I liked that it was a way I found my kids enjoyed answering questions and putting them together to guess. We kept playing and didn't want to stop to eat dinner! It's a nice small game that came with everything we needed except pencils or pens. Easy to handle and store. This was more fun than we all thought it would be. Also like that it works for 2-20 people. Looking forward to playing again very soon! Glad we were selected to try the game. If you like answering questions and or guessing this might be for you with a friend, your family or upto 20 people.

I purchased The Ninja Supra Kitchen System and I'm glad I did! This week I've been making my version of Strawberry Sorbet in just a few minutes! I just throw in frozen strawberries and anything else you want upto the maximum line, twist the 16 oz cup into the base and press blend! In a couple of minutes you have fresh sorbet! A little more liquid and you have a smoothie, add ice cream and milk you have a shake. All can be eaten or drunk straight from the cup. Easy clean up after of blade and cup! I love that there's really now waiting for freezing or setting.
This 1200 watt base comes with 2 16oz cups, 2 drink lids, blending blade, chopping blade, dough blade, dough bowl (w/lid) and blender Pitcher (w/lid). So we can make anything from smoothies to cookie dough to crush ice. It is a bit noisy but I don't think you can avoid that without spending the money for quiet models that do basically blending only. My only concern is that the 2 larger blades are so much bigger than anything my previous blenders or choppers had, creating storage and cleaning concerns. Other than that I'm happy with the system. Replacement parts can be purchased but this system only has 16 oz personal size cups/lids available which is a shame when other Ninja systems have 18oz, 24 oz and 32 oz sizes and various lids available. There are several systems and 1 will probably suit your needs. They're often on sale but are fairly reasonable in price compared to higher end brands.

I purchased the newly redesigned Starfrit Personal Blender 7 pc set in 2021 after years of using 2 other brands. I really liked that this came with 2 different types of blades as well as a drinking lid for on the go use. It's very reasonably priced and often on sale. I like the size as I wasn't looking for a full size blender, but something for making smoothies, chopping small amounts etc. It fits nicely on my counter or in a cupboard. The base, blades, cups and lids are all very lightweight. I found it did a great job on smoothies made with fresh or frozen fruits. I love that I can drink from the blender cup and don't need to dirty an additional glass, plus I can take it with me if I'm on the go. I can refrigerate the cup as well. I also really love that I can order replacement parts or additional size cups, lids, blades or gaskets for a reasonable price. Customer Service is available if you have issues. They've also recently added several colours to choose from now...grey, dark blue or red. So you can coordinate with your kitchen. I was very pleasantly surprised with how happy I was with it. I do find that the cups break/crack if dropped and that the rubber gasket can sometimes be an issue as you do need to remove it for proper cleaning. It is some what noisy, but I find that can't be helped without investing in expensive quieter personal or full size blenders. If you're looking for a personal blender or for small blending/ chopping tasks that's a reasonable price, I highly recommend the Starfrit Personal Blender. Since my original purchase I have bought additional cups and parts. During my search I found that many brand sets came with just 1 cup, or just 1 size of cup is available, or that additional cups and parts were costly, or customers were told that blades had to be replaced often etc. (every 6 months) and of course many were just pricey for what you got in a set. Overall I'm happy with my choice and glad I didn't spend $$$ for my needs. I do wish they would bring back the larger 14pc set.

I really love the scent of Gain original products and these Febreze Gain Scent candles didn't disappoint! I was so excited when I happened to find these online and ordered them. I love the size and shape of the glass holder, a nice change from the usual round styles. I find this great for limited space areas as they're narrow and not too big or too small. Definitely scents a room or space very well compared to other brand candles. Perfect for eliminating odours quickly. Reasonably priced and great size, I wish I'd found these sooner and stocked up. Very happy with them. I'd buy them every time I find them! -

We received a 12 inch Batman figure for free to review. We received Battle Strike Batman. My son was excited to get him out of the box! He was eager to get the Batarangs out to throw. It comes with 3 loose Batarangs and 1 on a string, and there's also a plastic net that it can be attached to it. He/ we found them a little hard to clip into the hand. There's 3 steps to make him launch them. Then he was onto the sounds and phrases, "You can't escape Batman", "Nice shot!", "Villain surrender" etc. There's supposed to be 20 but it didn't seem like there were that many actually. His arms and legs bend and his head turns around. The Batman symbol lights up when pushed for phrases/ sounds. The volume switch didn't seem to alter sound level unfortunately. Before my husband, before kids... now after husband and after kids😁 only on very very rare occasions. Felix and Norton moved from more central GTA locations to just one in Markham/Unionville...I moved from Toronto to Brampton 🤦 If I drove I would drive over an hour for their cookie delights. I highly recommend them if you're near them or want have them delivered to you or a favourite chewy cookie lover(s)! They are such a treat 😋 They have cookie bouquets, tins. They deliver as well as are delivered by @skipthedishes Dishes and @doordash
If you're not, Frozen Ready To Bake is available! Perfect if you want a few or a dozen, any time! Great for yourself or to share.
I baked Menage a Trois for my first try at baking them myself. You can find them in freezer sections at grocery stores/ supermarkets. They're available in Menage a Trois, Our Milk Chocolate, Ebony & Ivory, Bling Bling, Double Chocolate. There's no measuring, mixing or cutting. Just take them home, open the bag and put them on a tray...bake...wait😋🤗😎It smells like heaven! In 10 minutes or less you have awesome cookies! I can't believe how much they taste just like they should! I highly recommend trying them at home yourself. Menage a Trois is one of my favourite baked by them as well as Caramelt, White Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, Ebony & Ivory and Lemon Delight.

My daughter introduced me to TAZO Herbal Teas a few years ago. She loves them and thought I would too. I like fruity types of tea so she selected TAZO "Passion". It smells wonderful! I probably pick up the scent of Hibiscus and orange peel mostly. Adding boiling water brings it all together in a hot delightful blend of herbal tea goodness. Both the smell and taste of this blend of orange, lemongrass, Hibiscus, passionfruit, rose hips and a hint hint cinnamon, help me to relax, smile and enjoy this tea while making it and savouring. This is a real treat for me because I actually have to slow down and enjoy it. It makes me happier than a tea should. It has a perfect amount of citrus flavours, floral notes/ flavours for me, an important part of this blend that works beautifully with passionfruit. There's a brightness in this that just makes it so enjoyable. It's a little more expensive than most herbal teas I buy, but so worth it! It's equally delicious cold for Iced Tea which I also love. My only problem is it's so hard to find. Especially if there's a sale, it's one of the first go out of stock sadly for me. I'm down to my last tea bag until I hopefully find more. (Please please let me find more!) I guard the box with this last piece of herbal tea magic. I smell the box and small packet left and smile. That will have to keep me going on my search for more of this amazingness called "Passion"😋🤗😎☕🌺🍊 I highly recommend trying this if you like this type of herbal tea or fruity/ citrusy types of tea. -
