We love the Uncle Ben's version Natural Select Roasted Chicken & Wild Rice and since it is a little pricey and not always on sale, we thought we'd try Walmart Great Value Roasted Chicken & Wild Rice. We have found many Great Value items comparable to the name brand but better prices. This time we were very disappointed. Normally are kids love the brand name, with the Great Value it didn't survive past 2 mouthfuls. It smelled somewhat unpleasant, but we still decided to try it. It was kind of bitter tasting, texture didn't seem as good either. We tried it but it was a 1 time deal for this flavour. We will still try at least 1 other flavour before righting of their version of this line of rice. Wouldn't waste time on this flavour, spend the extra money and get Uncle Ben's! -

Uncle Ben's is a reliable rice product brand for us. The Uncle Ben's Natural Roasted Chicken & Wild Rice was no disappointment! The kids' call it their "favourite rice" and cheer when we have it. Home run that everyone will eat so totally worth it for me. I try to buy it on sale as it is almost $4 a bag regular price. It makes 12 portions and start to finish about 17mins. I find the portions a bit small for adults but it's average sized by pre-cooked/produced standards I imagine. You decide how many portions you want to make, which I love. I can make enough for my husband &I;or enough for all of us. There are several flavours we've tried several, but this is the stand out for us. We tried the Walmart Great Value version as we have found that line is often comparable, but sadly it was awful, so we'll be sticking with Uncle Ben's. Definitely recommend trying this flavour as well as the others. -

VH Sauces we've tried in the past are usually really tasty. We got a sample of the VH Butter Chicken sauce pouch for 2 and thought we'd give it a whirl. We tried to make it once from scratch, but not having had the real thing didn't have anything to compare to except whether we liked it or not. So we have an idea what this should taste like. Not bad, but not flavourful. I think if it was kicked up a notch it would be great. Worth a try for a simple dish to add to your repertoire. Easy peasy, cook chicken add sauce and cook for about 5 more minutes. -

One of my favourite chocolates! I'm rather picky about chocolates and these are so good. Baci are dark chocolates with a wonderful blend of creamy milk chocolate and hazelnuts over whole roasted hazelnut. Each one is individually wrapped with a message and the pretty Baci silver and blue foil. A bit pricey but worth it. I recommend these -

Creamy, tasty cheese sauce with elbow macaroni. Noodles are usually just right, not too firm or too soft. I recommend these for a try. -
Hungry Man Dinners-Pub Favourites Beer Battered Chicken w/Mashed Potatoes and Vegetables
A great choice for a filling TV dinner. Tasty beer battered chicken is well seasoned and tasty though not crispy. Mashed Potatoes and mixed vegetables are good. A brownie for dessert is a nice finish. I recommend either Beer Battered Chicken option.

A great improvement over TV dinners back in the day! My husband and I enjoy these when it's too late or we don't have time or energy for a homemade meal for just us. The beer battered chicken strips are tasty, well seasoned and battered. Batter doesn't get too crispy but is still good. The fries and cheese sauce are tasty. Fires don't get crispy but the cheese makes up for it. I recommend and say try it. -

Fairly inexpensive and often on sale. I recommend these. -

Great idea to save money and give some versatility. Maternity coats and jackets that can be worn during, after and for baby wearing are very expensive so this type of option is way that more can find something affordable. Unfortunately for some like me they had no compatible zippers to work with any of the 5 coats or jackets I have. They don't offer a custom zipper if one isn't available. Great and friendly customer support though. If you have a suitable zipper or attachments are available give it a try. Definitely check before you buy! -
