The Afton collection is made from premium-quality, brilliant crystal glass that has been formulated to be chip and break resistant.

● based on the description and my natural clumsiness, their durability was put to the test almost immediately. "Clean before first use", great idea until you drop them back into the waterless sink and watch them bounce off a plate and the ceramic sink before coming to rest. There was zero evidence of a crack, chip, or any blemishes.

Dishwasher friendly

● perhaps some dishwashers could fit these glasses 🥂, mine, unfortunately, would not. The glasses with their sleek design and height (which helps preserve the temperature of chilled sparkling wines) were too tall even after I lowered my top rack.
Typically, I would have recommended hand washing flutes, but I was excited for the ease of a dishwasher paired with my overall hatred of dishes.

Side Note - the only reason I gave this 4 of 5 - is I am lazy when it comes to dishes and I could not fit these in my dishwasher.    -
