I purchased 2 Christmas packages with gloves and 3 free classes. My daughter and I joined together and then there was covid. I was not told that I could not use the free classes until after I tried to use them. My daughter and paid for nothing. I never even got a chance to kick a bag once and when I wanted to use the 3 free classes they said, "that's for new clients. Since I never had a chance to try kicking the bags after paying over $400.00, I would think they could make adjustments. But the adjustments are only the ones that benefit the owners bottom line. Beware because you will find no compassion or consideration, just wolves in sheep's clothing. -

Shame on them for stealing hard-earned money from people and getting away with it on technicalities. Be careful because they are wolves in sheep's clothing. -

“I Love Kickboxing” sucker punched my daughter by refusing to return my daughters $400.00 (+tax) deposit. She attended only 2 classes where she actually punched the bag, which was what she signed up for. During the “6 weeks challenge”, she quit drinking, detoxed and found her own exercise classes online. The Vaughan ILKB online classes were boring, impersonal and unsupportive. Determined to succeed, she lost the weight, toned up and achieved her goal without support from staff. She even had to print her own diet plan.
She had plans for that money and had to succeed. Furthermore, she fulfilled the contract while the gym stayed closed because of covid: taking pictures once a week of her groceries and posting it, observing 3 mandatory online classes a week, taking post work-out selfies and posting them.
Expectations changed due to covid: no classes, no weigh-in and no meeting at the halfway point. At the halfway point the staff phoned asking when it was a good time to call her, and she responded with a time. She never received a response. Vaughan ILKB said they called, but she has no record of that missed phone call. The staff spoke with her later with no mentioned of the importance of that miss communication until the end of the 6 weeks.
Excited on the last day, having reached her goal, she was kicked in the gut by the staff who informed her that because of a missed phone call, the greedy, unscrupulous owner could use the same legal document that they themselves had broken to justify stealing her money, providing no service, refusing to return her deposit and damaging my daughter just because they can. This is immoral and just so wrong. She fell hard and all I have is words to express my contempt and disgust, so I hope everyone hears them.
