Bayliss and Harding anti-bacterial hand wash
Quality product which kills 99.9% bacteria, with a delicate fragrance of aloe, tea tree and lime. Looks good and feels good and even better, it's made in the UK so you're supporting local goods and low carbon footprint and it's Paraben free.

John Frieda Shimmering Silver Conditioner

Having used the equivalent shampoo, it was a treat to use the conditioner to go with it. Easy to read text on the products helps to get the right product to use.
The conditioner is a strange blue colour, which was a bit worrying having already shampooed my hair with the purple shampoo - what colour would my hair turn out once dried???
As it happened, it turned out the colour it is now. Sigh of relief!
This conditioner has tamed my wiry strands, into something more manageable and soft, with a slight gloss - which I have never had before - apart from at the hairdressers.
High end product which feels like a touch of luxury and indulgence producing a lovely result on a wiry head of hair.

Never used John Frieda products before, so this was testing new territory for me.
The first thing I noticed was that this product is purple and I was slightly concerned that by using this, it would be the equivalent of having a 'blue rinse' except that it would be a 'purple rinse' ! I needn't have worried, my hair didn't change colour.
The next thing I noticed was the text on the packaging - as you age, your eye sight isn't quite as good as it was. Often, when I'm washing my hair, I put my shampoo and conditioner 'in order', so they are used in the right order as often the text is too small for me to see which is which. The text on this product is a good size to be read easily when shampooing/conditioning.
The first time I used the shampoo, I squirted out far too much as it lathered up very easily, just like at the hairdressers. Only a small amount is needed to make a lather. The scent is lovely and rich and again smells like being at the hairdressers.
A lovely product - quite indulgent

I have never used an eye mask like this before other than those you get on planes to help you sleep/cut out glare etc, so didn't know what to expect.
Having read the instructions carefully, I opened up the first one and wasn't sure where the perforated edge was until I checked the diagram and of course it became obvious!
The mask fitted very comfortably over my nose and warmed up straightaway - which I was dubious that it would. It felt very comforting with a sense of well-being and gave out a wheat like scent which was very pleasant. The warmth lasted for about 30 minutes and hadn't gone completely cool then.
When I took the mask off, my eyes felt refreshed and slightly moistened.
I found it a very relaxing 30 minutes in which to switch off and give a eyes some TLC.

sanctuary spa body wash
I was given some Sanctuary Spa Green Lemon & Orange Blossom body wash as a gift. What a lovely gift too. Looks high end and has a lovely orange scent to it. Lathers well and leaves you feeling refreshed and vibrant.
