My Verdict:
• absorbs slowly and has a moisturizing layer formed over skin but will not last all day
• perfect all-year round
• simply moisturizes but doesn't do anything else
• builds a thick goopy layer if too much is used; a little goes a long way

Verdict:
• runny/watery consistency so definitely use a cotton pad
• better alternative than using a toner to remove residue because it is hydrating and is meant for deep cleaning
• have to revert to cleansing oil/wipes when removing stubborn eye makeup

My Verdict:
• love how there is barely any scent
• wipes are soft in both formulation and texture
• removes simple makeup quite easily
• cannot remove waterproof eye makeup (ie. mascara) as effectively as their "Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes" which are meant for that
• skin actually feels fresh and moisturized!

Just like the other two dark chocolate tablet bars Brookside there was a smooth consistency that although melted in your mouth did not melt when I'm picking it up which is really convenient for carrying around. I love how flavors of the acai and blueberry bring sourness in contrast to the bitterness of the dark chocolate. The crunchiness of the almonds definitely made this bar even more scrumptious. -

Upon opening the orange covered aluminum package there was a sweet aroma of mangoes that was immediately satisfying for my nostrils. It's not totally sweet almost like a shampoo but not too overwhelming and when I took a bite into it really loved how the flavours came together, the bitterness of the dark chocolate and the sweetness of both the mangoes and coconuts really balance out. The textures of the chocolate and the as well as the crispiness of the rice really put everything together. I will definitely purchase this again as this is my favorite flavor of the Brookside darkchocolate series. My only complaint is that I wish there was more because it tastes so amazing. -

I've tried the Brookside Dark Chocolate on fruit before, and it has the same amazing base flavour where it's not too sweet and not too bitter. What I love about this in comparison is that it melts in your mouth and is smooth. It's not overwhelming in taste which is the best part. Other chocolates usually leave a sticky tacky feeling in the back of my throat but this one surprisingly doesn't! There is rice crisps in there so it makes the chocolate more fun to eat. The cherry crisp overpowers the pomegranate flavour and being someone who isn't too fan of cherry, this mellow flavour is actually really great! -

I'm a regular user of Korean brands, but Marcelle, along with having more versatile colours for darker skin tones, is competent in providing a flawless matte coverage. I always use this for night outs since there isn't any SPF in it (but there is one with it). I absolutely like how it blends in with the tone of your own skin and isn't ashy. It's like wearing your skin but better from its lightweight properties. Just watch out for hot sunny days, where you have to set it.

They also have seasonal flavours. Right now, they have Very Scary which is a mix of cheddar (orange) and lime (green) popcorn, which definitely spices up their selection.

Cleansing oils are now all the hype because it's been proven to remove makeup more efficiently -without stripping as much of your face's natural oils - than cleansing soaps and have less chemicals. The majority of breakouts is not from the makeup product itself but the remaining makeup staying on the skin for a long time.
So the main reason why I decided to give cleansing oil a try was because I previously used extra virgin olive oil, which worked really well. It removed makeup really easily but had a globby feeling and got into my eyes every single time and blurred my vision, so I needed a better alternative.
Official Claims:

Ingredients:
• botanical oils (ie. jojoba extract, Eucalyptus leaf oil) - prevents skin irritation
• menthol - for cooling effect

Texture:
• almost scentless
• not too runny
• has a light feeling
• barely any noticeable tingling sensation from the menthol which is a plus
Application:
• rub in circular motions for 30-60 seconds and rinse off with warm water
• oil provides a smooth soft cushion for easy makeup removal
• a little goes a long way
• very gentle
Effectiveness:
• required longer gentle massaging time for stubborn products (waterproof)
• non-greasy feeling after removal
• works on EVERYTHING (mascara, lipstick, eyeshadow)
• didn't cause any breakouts
This is my go-to makeup remover since it's super effective for those nights where I barely have enough energy to do it!
