I had the opportunity to try YSL LOVESHINE LIPSTICK, in shade 44 Nude Lavallière. This lipstick is to die for! I have used it religiously for the past few weeks and I don’t think I’m going back! This lipstick offers high-shine, with a super smooth finish. It’s easily buildable for a bigger pop of colour. It’s also infused with six nourishing oils, which means it smells delish and my lips look and feel hydrated with use - even after removing the lipstick at the end of the day. This shade isn’t my favourite on my skin tone, but I do love shade 150. Plus there’s so many more options in this line to compliment all sorts of skin tones! -

I had the opportunity to try Urban Decay Face Bond Waterproof Foundation. Let me start off by saying that I am a light skinned, black woman with combination skin. I don’t often wear a full face of makeup, as I can get oily with foundation on. But I was pleasantly surprised that the Face Bond foundation claim of a “self-setting natural matte finish” really was true. I applied the Face Bond foundation with a sponge for a lighter, more natural application, but it’s easy to build up for fuller coverage. Two big pluses - I can confirm that this foundation is waterproof, and that the no mess dropper is super easy to use and distributes just the right amount where you need it. The shade I sampled was “22 Medium Neutral”.

I had the opportunity to try AVEENO® Calm + Restore Body Wash. This body wash is great for sensitive and dry skin! It's an oat, aloe and B5 formula. There's no fragrance or a bunch additives, just a soothing body wash! I've been using it over the past two weeks and I feel like I've seen a change in my dry skin. I should be applying cream after every shower, but when you're on the go, that's not always an option. With the Calm + Restore body wash, I didn't feel like my typically dry legs were screaming for lotion. And they didn't look like it either! The only thing I would change is the pump. I have to pump the pump four times to get the amount of body wash that I need. I would prefer a squeeze bottle option. -

I ahead the opportunity to try AVEENO® Calm + Restore Oat Repairing Lotion. It’s meant to help replenish the natural moisture of sensitive, dry skin. My legs are often dry and itchy. This Calm + Restore lotion works like a gem! The cream itself is fragrance free and free from all of the extra additives. This cream left my skin looking and feeling softer. One downside for me is that it left my hands feeling a little greasy. -

I had the opportunity to try Fleecy Pure Balance Liquid Fabric Softener, Rosewater. Let me preface by saying that I am someone who loves Fleecy and loves a good fabric softener. I will use fabric softener every time I wash our towels and bedding. It just gives them a little extra something. This Rosewater scented fabric softener may be added into every load I wash now! The scent is light, but our bedding and clothes have been soft. It's a win! -

I had the opportunity to try hello Vegan Fluoride Toothpaste, Moisturizing Hemp Seed Oil + Coconut Oil, Super Fresh Family Farmed Spearmint, Naturally Whitening Toothpaste. I am a big fan of this toothpaste! Not only is the spearmint flavour super fresh, it's all natural. After brushing my teeth, I notice that I have fresher breath for a longer period of time, compared to our usual toothpaste. I've also noticed that both myself and my partner have even whiter teeth. Not only does the hello super fresh + whitening toothpaste do as described, it's also natural and eco-friendly, which is a big win in my books! -

I had the opportunity to try AVEENO® Eczema Care Daily Moisturizing Cream as a free product to review. It’s meant to improve the four symptoms of eczema: itch, dryness, redness, & irritation, and it 100%, did that for me! My legs are often dry and itchy. And over the years, I've just gotten used to the fact that my lower legs experience little red dots. Some creams have helped, but nothing that was long term. It wasn't until writing this review, that I realized just how much these red dots and the texture on my legs, have actually improved since using the Eczema Care moisturizer! The cream itself is fragrance and steroid free. I like that it is a decent weight, which I feel helps to lock in the moisture, while it still absorbs really well into the skin. This cream is definitely an intense moisturizer, that left my skin looking and feeling softer. With continuous daily use, this body lotion could be a game changer! -

I had the opportunity to try PANOXYL PM BALANCING RENEWAL MOISTURIZER. I'm a big fan of this moisturizer! Because it's part of an acne regimen, I was concerned my skin was going to dry out. But I've been using it almost daily, on a nightly basis, for the last couple of weeks, and haven't noticed any dryness or tightness to my skin following use. My skin looks and feels moisturized, and I can see the difference with it keeping my excess oil at bay.

Every night before bed, I clean my face with my usual face wash or micellar water, then have been following that up with the PANOXYL CLARIFYING EXFOLIANT. I'm a big fan of this product. It's not what you would think of as a typical exfoliant. Instead, this is a leave-on, liquid formula that I applied to my face with a cotton pad. I love that it's a liquid, and that I don't have to apply another cream or treatment onto my face if I don't want to. It's task - to help clear and prevent acne. I'm going to keep using it daily and hope that it continues to keep any acne at bay.
