I was excited to try the Vichy Aqualia Thermal Awakening Eye Balm when it first arrived! The texture is very light and the scent is not too bad. However, when I use this product my eyes were runny and itchy all day. I'm not allergic to anything so I'm not sure what it is about this product that my skin didn't like. While I appreciate the chance to try it out, I don't think its something that I'd buy in the future. -

Love the new Nivea In-Shower Cocoa Butter Body Lotion! After only a few uses I have noticed that my skin isn't quite as dry as it was. The winter weather tends to make the skin on my upper arms and legs really dry and itchy, and using this in-shower body lotion has helped to lessen the itch. Its easy to use, has a nice scent, and rinses off without leaving your skin feeling greasy. Love it! -

Being that I'm in denial about turning 40 this year, I hate to admit that I've starting looking at anti-aging and anti-wrinkle products. When I was asked if I wanted to review the NIVEA Q10plus Anti-Wrinkle Serum Pearls, my first reaction was "I don't need that!" and then that little voice in my head said "Do it!!". No regrets here! I was fascinated with the packaging - you can see all those little yellow pearls in the bottle and it looks like mashed up egg yolks when you dispense it. The smell is pleasant, almost reminds me of the lotion my mom used when I was little. Did it magically erase the wrinkles that I hate so much? No. BUT - it did make my skin a little softer and smoother without feeling greasy or like there was a film on my face. -

Thank you Chick Advisor for letting me try the Scotch Essentials Easy Fix Button kit. I only needed to use one of these, but I couldn't believe how easy it was. The only issue I had was that I felt it was a bit bulky, but for a quick fix in a pinch, this is definitely a good product to use until you can sew an actual button back on (who am I kidding, I can't sew!). -

Thank you Chick Advisor for giving me the opportunity to try the Scotch Essentials Adjustable Hem Tape! While I prefer the permanent option, these ones were good in a pinch when I needed to fix a hem that had fallen down before leaving for work. I also used them to fix my sons halloween costume - the tail of the costume came apart while we were out trick or treating. The only thing I had in my purse was the adjustable hem tape, and it held the tail together for the rest of the night. I also used it on a shirt that kept falling off of my shoulder. I stuck one of these to my bra strap and the shirt stayed in place all day and wasn't too difficult to remove later that night. Great product to have on hand! -

I'm short. At 5'2", even petite length pants are too long on me. Over the years I have bought countless pairs of pants because I love them and have full intentions of hemming them so that they would fit right... and somehow I never get around to it. Its just too much work! When I saw that Chick Advisor was looking for people to review these new Scotch Permanent Hem Bonding Strips, I jumped at the chance! I grabbed a pair of jeans that fit awesome but are just too long so I don't wear them often. The instructions that came with the hem strips are easy to follow. You really have to press down quite a bit on the backing paper to make sure that the paper comes off of the adhesive easily. Within 5 minutes I had a pair of jeans that were the PERFECT length for me!! I also tried it on a shirt but it was a little harder to do on thin cotton. I do recommend that you do this on a hard surface and not on your bed, like I did ;) -

I have tried for years to find a product that can keep me from wanting to scratch my skin off all winter. My arms, thighs and hips get so dry that I even wake up at night feeling uncomfortable. I've tried many lotions, but nothing seems to work. When I saw this one I figured it was worth a try but wasn't too hopeful about it. When I first tried it in the shower, I noticed the scent right away. Very light and fresh. But I was afraid that it was going to leave my skin sticky or greasy. I was quite surprised when it rinsed off and my skin was left feeling soft and noticeably more moisturized. I wasn't holding out much hope that it would last, so I was really impressed when I was going to bed that night and I didn't have to slather any lotion on my legs, which were usually quite dry and itchy by that time of day. I was really happy - and this was only after 1 use!! I now use it every day. Honestly, this is a miracle product for me - LOVE IT!! -

I received a bottle of Wen conditioning cleanser as a gift from my sister, who is addicted to this stuff. I've been using it for about a month now and I have to say I'm impressed! The scent (Cranberry Mint) is fantastic, and you can smell it throughout the house when I use it. My hair tends to be frizzy and wavy, and not a nice wavy. Using Wen, I've noticed that my hair has a nice wave to it, without using product, and it doesn't get frizzy even in the heat and humidity. My hair is noticeably softer and I keep running my fingers through it.... something I couldn't do before because it was always tangled! I think I'll be using this from now on :) -

I was able to check out this product for free thanks to Chick Advisor! I had heard a lot about the OxiClean products but I had never tried any of them. I had high hopes - being a mom of two boys, we have a LOT of dirty laundry - dirt just seems to gravitate to the kids! When I first opened the bottle, I wasn't too impressed with the scent and it seemed a little thick. After washing a load of my kids clothes and putting them through the dryer however, I was surprised how nice the clothes smelled. It didn't remove the existing stains or a few of the other "mystery" stains, but it still got the clothes clean. I like using it on my husbands work clothes as there's a scent that always lingers in those grimy jeans..... OxiClean seems to get rid of it! So overall - yes, I would recommend it based on the lasting scent, not necessarily on how clean it gets your clothes. -

I received two packages of Special K Popcorn Chips to check out and I have to say that I wasn't overly impressed with either one of them. The texture of them is great - crisp and crunchy! Its the flavour that didn't get me. The flavour is very light and doesn't last. Its there for the first few chews and then its like chewing on a bland rice cake. Disappointed as I love the Special K products :( I don't think I could recommend either of these products to my friends. -
