Gliss Ultimate Repair Express Repair Conditioner has become a great addition to my hair care regimen.
This is my favorite among the Gliuss Ultimate Repair line I received from Chickadvisor for free as a part of the Got2B Gliss campaign (Product Review Club).
It is a great leave in conditioner --- not greasy, not heavy, doesn't make my hair sticky.
The scent is very light, has a coconut and flower scent to it. It is a great detangler. Perfect for dry or wet hair. Can be used before or after dry shampoo as well or you can even skip dry shampoo in between washes and just use this product instead.
My hair is softer and easier to comb after using this product. The scent lasts all day long. I highly recommend this product if you want to replace your creamy leave in conditioners that sometimes makes your hair feel heavy and sticky.

I was quite impressed with this product. Normally when you use a hairspray you will be expecting some nasty fumes or strong chemical smell. This product made breathing while styling my hair easy. hahaha!
It doesn't feel so harsh on my scalp or even the mist doesn't irritate my nose or eyes.
It holds pretty well. I have used it by itself and with the got2B Volumaniac mousse included in the campaign. It has become quite windy here where I live and I am surprised that my hair still held after walking the dog for half an hour. It is not sticky nor it does make my hair feel crunchy and heavy.
It is between medium and strong hold though so my hair was still a bit manageable. I highly recommend this product.

got2b Volumaniac Bodyfying Mousse gave my boring hair some life and body. The first day I tried this product, I was impressed how much body it gave my hair. I work in the kitchen but I also have short hair that I can get away not tying it up. I was amazed on how long it held. After my 8 hr shift my hair is still full of body and I was loving it so much.
The scent is not strong. It's not very sticky either. Start with small amount so your hair won't feel crunchy. I applied it on wet hair and blow dried it. I have also tried just letting my hair air dry and it didn't give my hair much volume but there was a little bit of difference from my natural dull hair. So I think, you will get better results if you blow dry your hair and if you really wanted that volume. Pairing it with the got2bgliss Volumaniac Hair spray makes this product even more awesome.

Rubbermaid FreshWorks Produce Saver is a must have in any kitchen. This product really works. The concept works great. The plastic is quite durable and doesn't look very cheap or tacky. It is very easy to use.
This product is great for fruits or vegetables. I know in the instructions, it says to not wash your produce and put it directly in the container. You can still wash your produce and just try to dry them with paper towel or clean kitchen towel before putting inside the produce saver. Same thing if you like prepping salads for the family and you want it to be ready to be portioned or eaten, you can cut up some lettuce and spin dry it and keep it in the produce saver.
I got this product for free as a part of the Chickadvisor's Product Review Club. I had to buy the other 2 sizes and so far, they have all been good addition to my kitchen. I am usually by myself so lots of produce goes bad on me but since I started trying out this product, I am quite impressed and I don't throw out lettuce or berries that have dried out or go rotten or moldy on me. I had to wait for a good week from the time I tried this product and writing this review. The strawberries I had in the container still looked fresh after a week. The cut up lettuce didn't start to go brown til the 4th day. Usually just after a day, my lettuce goes brown and limp in regular container.
The crisper feature on this product is nice and works well. I am planning on buying some more. I know the price can be a little bit steep for some. For a 3 pack (all 3 sizes) , it is almost $30 at Walmart. So I would recommend waiting for good sales. You can also check out Costco.

Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Body Yogurt Lotion in Apricot and Honey gives my skin the long lasting smoothness that I need. This lotion is one of the best lotions I have used. At first, I thought the size is pretty small. Well, a tub will pretty much last a long time. This product is very effective when it comes to moisturization. It is very rich and creamy and spreads nicely on my skin. It is not heavy when applied. It dries very well and won't leave your skin greasy. The moisture it gives lasts for 48hours. If you use this lotion with the Aveeno Body Yogurt Body Wash, I bet you won't really need to apply this lotion everyday.
The scent is very nice. Very subtle but your skin will smell great all day long. I am impressed with this line from Aveeno. I think I will try the Vanilla and Oat too in the future. I also love the fact that there is a seal on the tub. It was a little bit of a struggle to peel it off though.
I highly recommend this product to anyone. It is truly amazing. Another great product from Aveeno.

Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Yogurt Body Wash in Apricot and Honey is my skin's new favorite product. It is silky smooth and lathers pretty well. A little goes a long way. I love the lather it produces when used with a loofah. It rinses pretty well and doesn't give my skin a greasy feel. My skin absorbed it very well and left my skin smooth and smell good all day.
This product is very effective when it comes to moisturizing. I almost don't need to apply lotion after showering. The scent is great. Not overpowering. It has a mild scent that even men can use this product and for sure they will like it.
I love the size of this bottle. I think it's great to bring when travelling. Another nice feature is that, it can be used as a shaving gel. Like I said, a little goes a long way. I shaved my legs using this and the razor just glide smoothly and my skin was hydrated and felt soft and smooth after.
I was really impressed with this product and I have already decided to replace my old body wash with this. I definitely recommend this to anyone. Aveeno is great as their products are gentle on any skin type.

PowerBar Protein Plus Reduced Sugar Creamy Chocolate Peanut Butter is a pretty good protein bar of it's kind but it's just not for me.
I liked the flavor of this protein bar. I have tried the Lemon Poppy seed first and didn't like it very much. The Chocolate Peanut Butter is very smooth and creamy. It is soft to chew unlike other protein bars.
The Reduced Sugar feature of this bar is good but didn't work for me at all because of the Sugar alcohol used. Maltitol gave me stomach issues. The bar contains 5g of fibre and 2g of sugar. 20 g of protein which is great and can keep you full for a bit.
I am following a ketogenic diet and this bar kicked me out of ketosis and I had stomach problems for a couple days. I was never this sensitive to sugar alcohol until I tried these bars. So if you are sensitive to Maltitol, stay away from this protein bar. Otherwise, I don't really have any problem with the taste and texture. I think the taste and texture are pretty good. It is not chalky like the Lemon Poppy seed. It is not very sweet either. I think though that it can use some crunch or something. Maybe they should add some bits of chocolate or peanut. The first bite reminded me of the Snicker's Bar.
In the future, I don't think I will buy this product as it turned out it's not for me. I am happy that I was able to try this product for free to review as part of the Product Review Club.

I was really excited to try this flavour as I am always used to eating chocolate or berry flavoured ptotein bars.
I want to talk about the nutritional value first as I think the PowerBar ProteinPlus Reduced Sugar line of products have a lots to offer when it comes to protein needs and very easy to fit in to any eating or health and fitness lifestyle. I am in no way of a professional but have been following a certain way of eating. I have quit sugar and wheat for the past few months. Having a go to protein bar is always nice. Sometimes, you don't have the time to prepare anything.
This bar contains 20g of protein. Which is really nice. It's almost a quarter of my protein goal everyday. It has 5g of Fiber which is good. A bar comes up to 3g of net carbs which I think is pretty good if you are following a low carb diet. The product is sweetened with Maltitol which is a sugar alcohol and also with sucralose.
Lots of people can be sensitive to Maltitol, myself included. It can cause some people diarhhea or stomach issues. So if you know you are sensitive to sugar alcohols especially maltitol, steer clear from this protein bar.
The taste was not as good as I expected, first bite was pretty good and after my second bite, i can taste the chalkiness and all I can taste is protein and some milk flavour probably from the yougurt coating. I didn't finish it. It is not sweet though... so the reduced sugar part is true! It is very soft in texture which is nice. Other protein bars tend to be hard and so hard to chew.
In the future, I will not buy this product on a regular basis. Power Bar brand is very easy to find in stores compared to Quest or One Bars. If I don't have any other choices than the Power Bar Protein Plus Reduced Sugar, I may consider buying it.

This one is what I have been looking for. I got it from Shopper's Drug Mart and I am glad that it was recommended by one of the staff at SDM. She made me try several sunscreen alike.
The thin formula is what I love the most. It doesn't cause my skin to break out and there's still a little hint of that sunscreen scent but it goes away pretty fast. It is very effective and this will be my go to sunscreen from now on.

Since summer time is just around the corner, I have been craving for Iced coffee and not really enjoying hot coffee as much as I did. I usually make my homemade Iced coffee by brewing hot coffee and let it cool down and chilled for a day. If I'm pressed for time, I brew stronger coffee and then pour the hot coffee directly on ice. After some research, I didn't know that there is a cold brew process. For someone who worked at a coffee shop before, I am surprised that I didn't know about this.
Anyway, The cold brew process is good because it is low in acidity, the coffee taste is smooth and your iced coffee will not be so watery. The only thing is that it takes a long time to make this and requires a lot of patience and also lots of ground coffee, It takes about 12-24 hours for a cold brew coffee to be ready.
That being said, this product by President's Choice is good to have. The price for a container which is 900ml is $4.98. It is made with dark roast coffee so the taste is strong. A small cup of Iced coffee from major coffee shops will cost you at least $2 for a small one so I think it works out the same. A container contains 4 servings (1 cup/ serving). But I like the convenience of mixing my iced coffee at home that's why I bought this. So far, I really enjoyed it. You can stretch out the number of servings to probably 6-8 servings per container because it is brewed with strong coffee.
I like mixing mine with heavy whipping cream and almond milk. This is also good to be added with protein shakes and Ice and make your own frappucino at home. Sweeten it with any form of sugar you use and it tastes just like the iced coffee from major coffee shops. I have some flavoured syrups at home so I mix them with this coffee too.
I am very satisfied with the taste and the convenience of this product and loving the fact that there's a ready made cold brew coffee that I can grab in stores.
