These are easy to munch but also such high quality that it’s fun to savor them as well ... the chocolate has a delightful melt and the consistency of the toffee is great if you’re a cruncher or a dissolver. The key here is that this is a simple item that can be done poorly with cheap ingredients and no attention to detail ... instead Lindt has delivered an excellent product and actually surpassed my expectations. -

The corn doesn’t smell quite like popcorn, more like, well, corn or maybe polenta. The chocolate is quite sweet, though smooth, it’s very sugary. The corn bits are like corn nuts, very crunchy though not quite hard enough to break any teeth -

The light crispies are not a huge flavor component, but a very good addition to the texture. The sweetness is a little strong, but because the pieces aren’t very big, it didn’t seem too cloying. The overwhelming note afterwards was the roasted hazelnut. -

I’m a big fan of Swedish Fish, so I was really excited to see this gum on the market. Unfortunately, I don’t think it hits the spot when it comes to replicating that delicious candy flavor. The flavor of the gum is pretty mild, but lasts a long time. It’s nice and soft and meets the standard of other Trident gums. If you’re looking for a better candy flavor, I would recommend Stride’s Sour Patch gum in RedBerry, which comes much closer to the flavor of Swedish Fish! -

It starts off with a fruit-punchy strawberry flavor, and then settles in to the batter-like flavor that Extra Desserts is really going for. I do think that Extra Desserts has achieved something here for the person who is avoiding starchy snacks, but for the casual gum-chewer, the flavor can be a little off-putting. -
