These pies used to be a good choice in terms of value, taste and quality. Prices have escalated in the past year while the quality has gone down. The apple chunks are often undercooked (they shouldn't be mushy, nor should they be crunchy but in between). The crust easily falls apart at the rim, separates from the centre and the bottom crust is often soggy which makes lifting and serving nearly impossible and messy. The taste is okay, but appearance, texture are second rate. Hard pass. -
