I agree, I thought they were the ugliest things I ever saw when I first say them way back when Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie were wearing them. I thought they were wearing those for a joke or something.
BUT I admit..... I bought these two years ago and found them pretty comfortable. however, i agree that most people do not look good in them. You have to be stick skinny and tall, making the boots look somewhat oversized for your feet (makes your legs looks even skinnier).
OHH and I also HATE them for not being waterproof as water seeps in really easily. They also get dirty fast, especially in the winter when salt gets on them. It's hard to clean after the salt gets through, and the colour and material quality tends to change quite fast.
If you are still looking or a pair, you should try to shop online for some cheap ugg boots instead of buying them at the mall. I got mine (the one that comes right up to my mid-calf) for under $100 cuz i ordered online in kids size. The sizes do come pretty big and if you have small feet, u can get away with kids sizes (refer to the size chart).

I got these boots this winter in grey. I love wearing these when there's salt mixed with slush everywhere (I don't like wearing my other boots cuz the salt gets to it and it's really hard to condition and clean). Other times when I wear my other boots (leather, suede, uggz boots, etc), I avoid puddles and messy sidewalks. However, I found myself feeling like SUPERMAN walking through deep puddles and slush, not worrying about a thing. It also looks good with a pair of black leggings and a boyfriend blouse (reminds me of Angelina Jolie in Mr and Mrs Smith).
BUT there is a downside. The boots are NOT warm at ALL especially in freezing temperature. I feel like my toes are going to fall off. I recommend wearing triple layers of socks! Also, I'm very short and since I bought the tall boots, they come right up to my knees. I feel very uncomfortable when I try to cross my legs (which I do often), and walk because the boots are NOT flexible!!! They are also very heavy and my legs get kind of tired after a long day of wearing them. I also paid i think $150 plus tax for mine, which is pricey, but I desperately needed some waterproof boots cuz my other boots (especially uggz!) are NOT. It's true you are paying so much for some rubber-material boots but I think it's worth keeping the water out, cuz I have TERRIBLE memories of soaking feet in the winter! *shivers.

I still use it from time to time, but it's not my favourite scent on my shelf. -

I found out about the ELF product a few years ago, and since it's very cheap, I had some doubts about it. However, the studio brush line is very effective AND cheap! The kabuki brush I bought is very soft to the touch (perhaps too soft?), and it is small, so you can carry it around anywhere. However, I wish it came with a lid, because it tends to get dusty. One advice when using this brush is to put an elastic around the brush so that it becomes stiffer and you can control it more when you put powder or foundation on your face. if also works if you use a sponge on your face first, and even it out with this brush.
An unbeatable price and good quality. Try it, you will not be disappointed!

I'm Asian, and for people out there who want to add some contour to your face, this is it! You can also use this to highlight your cheeks with a contour brush. I found this free trial kit online, but I found out that it wasn't really free at all. I realized that I had to return the package at the end of my trial date or they will charge $70 to my credit card bill.
It's a bit pricey. I would much rather go with a BareMinerals kit for $60 at Sephora.
Overall, the quality was good. I especially liked the glow (blush), as it suits my skin colour (I ordered Medium). Brushes that came with it were nice and soft. It also came with a small makeup bag.
However, although the tones matched my skin and looked good, I began to break out a little. I don't know if it was the makeup or something else, as it says it has no preservatives. However, I found that the makeup is very light and it doesn't appear too cakey. I loved the colour of the blush and the foundation, which looked amazing on my skin. I would have been very happy if I didnt have to pay $70 for it. I'm going to have to return the package in order to get away with not paying $70. However, if money is not an issue for you, I would recommend it.
I regret ordering this online, because of the price. If I knew I had to pay $70 more, I would never have ordered it.
