I received a box of carnation breakfast essential in chocolate for free from chickadvisor's Product Rewview Club. Here is my honest option on it.
A bit of backstory: the elevator at work is out of service for what will be a total of at least 3 months. Every morning is met with at least 133 stairs to climb. Due to this I, a previously breakfast skipper, has been ensuring I have something in the mornings to give me the strength to climb the stairs.
I am so happy that I got to try this product. I didn’t think a meal replacement powder/drink could be this good. This product is going to be my new best friend on the mornings I over sleep and don’t have time for a sit drown breakfast.
What I like ~
The taste: with a nice rich chocolate flavour it is just like drinking chocolate milk
Texture: I mix it with 2% milk and find it to be very creamy
Substance: with 15g of protein it keeps me feeling full and satisfied until lunch (about 5 hours later)
What I don’t like~
High amount of sugar - 21g
While it was very creamy the powder it took a lot of stirring and didn’t fully mix, there was a few small powder clumps
Conclusion: This is definitely a product I am going to keep on hand, though I am going to try to find the ligh one with less sugar to try.

I had purchased a box of various skin care products and this was one of the items. I already have lotion that I really like so I was about to give this one away when my husband pointed out that I had really dry elbows. I have been putting the Vaseline Intensive Care Dry Skin Repair Lotion on before bed for the last few weeks and Love the results. Using just a pea sized amount and my elbows are now silky soft. This is definitely a product I am going to keep around. -

My hubby turned me on to this toothbrush and I am so glad he did. Brush your teeth like you would with a regular bush and the vibrating bristles help to give you a deeper clean. The first time my hubby used this toothbrush he said his teeth felt as clean as after a trip to the dentist.
At our drug store it retails for about $13 but it is often on sale so we usually get it for around $6.
I change brushes about every 6 months and the battery life has always lasted past that. Once I am finished using it for my teeth I use it when cleaning the house.

I tried this product for free from the review club from Dove and Chick Advisor.
My roots get a little oily, but if I wash my hair too often the rest of it gets a little dry. Dry Shampoos are the perfect fix for me. This dry shampoo definitly lives up to it's advertised benefits and name. Not only did my hair feel nice and fresh after using the proudct my hair also had some of its volume back.
The product also has a very nice smell, unlike some other brands I have tried which have a chemical smell. It worked as well as some other dry shampoos I have used as far as refreshing my hair but did a better job at adding body.
With an average price of $5.99 this is definitly a product and totaly recommend it.

The last product we tried at the showcase today was CND Creative Play Nail Lacquer in Chrimson Like It Hot shade. It comes in 80 vibrant colours and 10 finishes. With a base coat and top coat I thought it would take a long time to apply and dry but it only took about 5 minutes, which is great as I hate waiting for my nails to dry. It is also 7-free (formulated without parabens, phthalates (dibutyl phthalate), toluene, xylene, camphor, formaldehyde, resin, and animals.) It retails at $8.50 at Fiorio and other participating salons. -

Tried Dove's new Regenerative Nourishment Serum-In-Oil and I think this product is going to get a lot of use this winter. Designed for stressed and damaged hair, not only does it nourish and strengthen brittle hair it can be used during the day to reduce frizz. Like the other Dove hair products I love my hair doesn't feel like it has product in it. The scent is soft and subtle and a great deal at $8.99 -

Just tried the L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Feline Mascara at the showcase. I love mascara, it is often the only makeup I wear. I am very loyal to my favourite one and this will not replace it.
Why.
-I don't like the plastic applicator, I prefer a brush.
- It clumped my lashes together instead of separating
- It feels heavy on my lashes
- Doesn't make my lashes feel soft
- tried to add a second coat and it just more clumpy

I have really sensitive skin and was so glad I found this product line. The micellar wipe is going to be my new favourite make-up remover wipe for those nights I want a quick clean. The micellar wipe is super soft on my face and doesn't have a scent. It easily removed my make up and I loved that it didn't leave my face felling tight and dry, so I didn't need to apply moisture after. I love that it tells you right on the product that it has no artificial perfume or dyes. -
