Wow! I have to say I'm pretty impressed with this product. It was my first time trying Halo Top and certainly won't be my last. I'd heard much hype about Halo Top, so was stoked to finally get a chance to try them in Canada.
I thought they nailed the birthday cake flavour very well. It reminds me of Quest's birthday cake bar, but in ice cream form. Not icy and no weird aftertaste. The only minor issues that I identified upon a second, more thorough tasting, are a) the ice cream could be less sweet, even for someone with a sweet tooth like mine and b) it melts a bit more quickly than regular ice cream. Not huge detractors, but worth noting.
The calorie/protein content is astounding. It makes me giddy that I could eat an entire pint in one sitting and not feel guilty (I have not done so yet, but it's awesome knowing the option is there...). Really looking forward to trying the other flavours, particularly pancake & waffles and oatmeal cookie. My brain pretty much screamed for me to buy more after the first bite.

Wow, I'm very impressed with this product, especially at the price point. I only use this as a mask and am very happy with it.
I love the cool, tingly, tightening sensation while it's on and it leaves my skin feeling clean and looking great. My pores are smaller and I'm left with this wonderful, healthy, dewy look on my skin. It's also noticeably smoother and the effects can still be seen days after using the mask. Keeps my skin clear and happy.
Cannot say enough good things about this mask. No complaints at all. Skin feels and looks wonderful afterwards.

I'm usually more of a protein bar than protein shake girl, but these shakes have shown me that there ARE decent protein shakes out there. Between this and the vanilla, I prefer the vanilla, but this one still beats a lot of other shakes I've tried.
Smooth and pleasant tasting, this one packs a punch at 30 grams of protein for 160 calories. No gritty/chalky texture and no funky taste. Could be less sweet, as is the case with most protein shakes, but still a great product.
I received this for free from Chick Advisor. Definitely looking forward to trying more products from Premier Protein, as my faith in protein shakes has now been restored.
Also love the convenient packaging of these shakes.

I'm generally more of a protein bar than protein shake kind of girl. The majority of protein shakes I've encountered have been shockingly bad or just so so. Too often they're plagued by chalky, gritty textures and/or disgustingly sweet or just plain weird tastes.
That's not the case here.Smooth texture (no grit or chalkiness) and pleasant flavours, especially the vanilla one, which is my current favourite. Still a bit too sweet, as is the case with most protein shakes, but not sickeningly so. I love that for 160 calories, it packs in a whopping 30 grams of protein. Can't complain about that! Also appreciate that the sodium level isn't ridiculously high.
I received these shakes free from Chick Advisor. Thanks for restoring my faith in protein shakes, Premier Protein! Looking forward to trying other products in this line.

This is a great product in innovative packaging. The yogurt is flavourful- you can even smell the vanilla- without being too sweet. It has a nice consistency and is a little less thick than other Greek yogurts I am used to. The pouch format makes it easy to store in a crowded fridge and is easy to dispense- no spoon needed for scooping! I imagine this would be handy for baking as well.
Would definitely recommend this!

Let me begin by highlighting the fact that chocolate flavoured protein bars generally are not very good. You'd be surprised how hard it is to nail this simple flavour in protein bar form. I guess the protein flavours are hard to mask with chocolate?
Hands down, the BEST chocolate brownie protein bar I have ever come across. This actually tastes like a rich, chocolatey brownie with very minimal protein taste.
The chocolate chip cookie dough is also very good. Not quite as buttery as Quest's version (at its peak), but still one of the best versions on the market.
Rich flavours, great textures, great nutrient profiles and awesome prices- honestly, how can you beat that? I'm extremely impressed with this Kirkland product. I pretty much devoured the whole box myself, even though it was purchased with the intention of sharing with two other people =] I would highly recommend and would definitely repurchase.

Flavourful and fragrant enough, though it could amp up the flavour a bit more. I can live with it, though. Not fakey/chemical-ly in taste. Makes a great grilled cheese, as you can imagine.

Not that it affects the taste of the bars, but the nice packaging is a bonus :)
