This was a definite improvement from other stretch mark oils I've used. This one absorbed very well while still leaving a non-greasy sheen on the skin. I've used another brand of oil and it caused problems with me by not absorbing into the skin so it absorbed into my bra during the day leaving it feeling gross and dirty, and I had problems (tmi) in the other brand leaving a slippery oil residue on the toilet seat b/c I have stretch marks on my upper thighs as well. So this Nivea Firming Body Oil absorbed and left my bra and clothing feeling just fine throughout the day, and no other problems. It left behind a healthy faint glow look that moisturized skin has: not dry and flaky, but able to reflect a little light. It has a very faint clean shower scent that isn't noticeable after it's been applied. I felt it definitely helped with my "newer" stretch marks that were purpley color and made them go away, but there's never anything to be done for old scarred stretch marks. I did see an effect in the firming aspect in that the layer of skin became healthy, hydrated, reflected light, and had a good bounce when poked with a finger. It doesn't effect cellulite, and doesn't claim to, but it definitely makes my top layer of skin look a lot better and healthier... which is perfect b/c we've started to get that hot summer heat and I'm out in shorts and skirts. I got to try this out from the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club, #gotitfree -

I love getting these every couple weeks as a snack during the day. I buy them and then pop them in the freezer and eat one a day when I have them. Then I defrost one, butter it, and pop it in the frying pan until it gets a little golden on the bottom. I like to top it with honey the best, such a warm and satisfying snack. I know bagels aren't a healthy snack, so I don't have them all the time. My secret money saving trick with these is that they sell them at Dollar Tree ($1.25) when they get close to the expiry, so I buy them there for cheap and then they go in the freezer. -

One of the best protein bars ever. I really loved the taste of this one at first bite. It's extremely soft and tasted so much like a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, yummy. It also had a few crispies throughout it to make it more enjoyable and fun. This flavour didn't have the grainy-powder feel that the lemon one had. It is also coated in chocolate which was tasty and satisfying. Like the other bar, this one is substantial/heavy in the hand, has 20g! of protein, and 5g of fibre. I love that they could pack that much protein in which I really need to be adding as much of as I can to my diet. The bar was very filling, and my hunger went away before even finishing it. If I was having a really hectic day I could see grabbing one of these at lunchtime. I've tried a few protein bar products before and really this one to me tasted way up there good. I do a lot of biking and this flavour will be perfect for me on the go. I got to taste these out from the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club, #gotitfree. -

This was a very substantial protein bar with a sweet lemony flavour that was different than other bars. I was expecting it to be hard like a granola bar, but this was pleasantly soft, soft, soft and smooth throughout. It tasted/felt like a candy treat or a dessert. The only downsides I had was that for me this flavour was very sweet, and there was more of that grainy-powder feel than most protein bars have. Because of the sweetness I would prefer to eat only half of the bar in one sitting, but that's nice b/c then I can have half as a snack in the morning and in the afternoon. It's coated in a white yogurt which was nice. The bar actually felt heavy to the touch in my hand, making it seem very substantial. And it was b/c it was very filling. It has an insanely high 20g of protein per bar, and 5g of fibre so it literally does feel filling and make hunger go away. Perfect for workouts, hikes, long days away from the house. With this bar I would caution than it is sweetened with sucralose & malitol (I love and prefer artificial sweeteners in my daily life), but I often give my doggy little bites of everything so just be aware that dogs are allergic to artificial sweeteners so don't share or let any drop on the floor. Very nice lemony-dessert flavour, but b/c of the graininess and super sweetness I much preferred the other flavour I got to try in my ChickAdvisor Product Review Box. #gotitfree -

It's full of oatmeal and still has that goodness of chocolate chips and banana. It's 190 calories which makes it perfect as a breakfast meal replacement... that would be a lot of calories to be eating it as a cookie. Gives me just enough energy and is small and lightweight to carry in my purse when I really need to eat something. -

Of course this was super yummy. Hershey's chocolate is one of the best so any variation of it can't go wrong for me. I'm a pick-apart-eater, so I loved the addition of the cookie sprinkles (tiny BB sized) along the bottom and the secret layer of caramel. It made me eat the bar slower. It's very sweet, but perfect in small portions... I really only need a square to get my chocolate fix, feel satisfied and say "Mmm Hershey good.". (got a free sample) -

This is a good and effective remover for me, and really quick to use at night. I kind of like that you don't have to shake it first. It's a non-oily formula, but it also doesn't dry out my skin. I'd say it's not as moisturizing afterwards than other styles of removers, but I always put on a night moisturizer anyway. I've had a bottle for a few months now and there is a faint scent to it in the bottle, like an oatmeal, but I can't remember if if was there brand new when I opened it. It works on all makeup, even the eyes. I use it with those cotton astringent pads. -

These are a huge improvement for us from the original Denta Stix version. Those other ones which were hard sticks in the shape of long X's started to give my dog upset stomach now that she's a senior... I got rid of them all b/c she started throwing up even small amounts (odd b/c they were fine when she was younger, and haven't had this reaction to anything else). So whether it's the ingredients or the air bubbles in it, this Dentaflex version is yummy and easily digestible. I have a Jack Russel and she can take this big bone of a treat and gnaw off tiny corners at a time and eat them. I do feel it's too big a treat for her to have in one day, so either I take it away after a while or I cut it up a bit. I have done some where I've sliced them into one inch thick slices to give her for smaller treats, and she still has to gnaw at these to break them down into eatable sizes. Either way it gets her back molars working and getting cleaned up, which is really good for the senior dogs. She chews these as soon as she's given them, no waiting around. -

I started using this about 5 months ago and now I'm on it everyday. I got one of those ereaders so now more than ever I'm getting free books from the library. I love that on Goodreads I can track the progress of which books I'm reading, and review them when I'm done. At the start of the year they let you challenge yourself by picking a certain # of books you would like to read within the year, and they track your progress. I'm in the giveaways section everyday to enter to win specific books. I stick to the one's that are new this year, have a lot of copies to give out, ones I'm familiar with, etc.. (I don't enter for every single book, there are dozens of new ones everyday and some are very small batch). I usually win a book a month until a big week hit and all the sudden & I had 7 wins in the same week, so I have a stack of new reads right now. It's a fantastic way to read books you never would have thought of, for example it's how I found out about Ruth Ware and I love her writing.
It's a great site to get the buzz of new books soon to be released so that when they do get published I'm familiar with them. It's really a useful site for readers, and there's a lot of features that I haven't explored yet, but it's a great tool for me to be reading more than ever.

Ok, so I tried them and I'm hooked. My first order was 5 pairs, 4 being sunnies. Out of all the online glasses places, this site has the most variety and cheapest choices ( the cheapest you can get is literally $8.50 CAN for a pair of frames with px lenses!). I love the cheap cost of sunnies they offer with so many great styles. I went for 80% gray tints, but my next order will have all the sunnies be gray gradients (the solids look very dark on a persons face, even though the view through them is light enough to walk around indoors for a bit). I measured my PD by wearing my glasses and looking in a mirror and dotting where my pupils are on the lenses with a white eyeliner pencil, and it was accurate. All the prescriptions were 100%, I kept saying how amazing it was that I could get a pair of FREE lenses that I can see perfectly through (my px is -5.75 with an astigmatism in one eye), while I had bought my last lenses in store for $200 and the crizal coating is flaking away where it was applied unevenly. If you have a heavy px like me and are going for clear/regular glasses you really should get the highest lenses and the AR coating to not have your eyes look tiny and the sides or your face look squished in... but these expensivist lenses are only $100 CAN. For the sunnies it doesn't matter to me b/c they're so dark no one will see any distortion, so free lenses it is. It was super helpful to search zenni on instagram (zenni, zennioptical, justgotmyzennis), as well you can search the hashtagged style numbers for each pair of glasses to see them on real people. And the site lets you upload a pic of yourself to virtually try them on. I returned one pair b/c they were very loose, big, and leaning away from my face so I would never wear them; I was able to email the info, mail that pair back, and get an online credit for 100% the cost of that pair. Very fast process, and I'm having fun deciding which new sunnies to get.
Having gone the last how many years without any sunglasses I'm shocked at how fast and easy and cheap it is for me to get so many styles for the price of one pair at a store. Be sure to check the reviews, I'm not ordering any that say they break easily. I paid using a prepaid Visa and had no problems. I received my glasses 8 days after ordering and b/c they're px, there's no tax or duty. One of the pairs I ordered had a PD too large for mine, but if you order anyway it lets you for an extra $9. All you need to order is to type in your prescription, they don't check if it's valid or up to date in any way or ask where you got it from, and you can order different prescriptions for different people in your family in the same order.. They offer different colour tints, mirror finish, transitions, and even custom name/word engraving on the sides. I'm in PX sunglasses heaven.
