I'm surprised of the negative/dry reviews about this, b/c mine is great. I've had this one kicking around unused for a while and just last week my regular liquid liner started drying out and not giving the perfect edge. So I was glad I had this for backup. My tube isn't dry at all. It has a much smaller and more precise brush tip than other brands, but the liquid is a good consistency and gives a solid liquid line without any fraying at the edges. Definitely good enough for me as the name brands. I bought this one out at the cottage after forgetting mine at home and is a steal and does the job perfectly. -

I finally got a couple of these to try out b/c of the difference in packaging. Let's be honest; the only difference here than with any other tube style balm is that this comes in a cute shape. I think the balm itself is quite nice and higher end, it works for me and lasts long enough. The vanilla bean is such a tasty scent like a sheet cake, and the summer berry is equally as nice and smells like a strawberry mousse dessert.
So the pros about this cute ball packaging: I love that I can switch out the tops and mix and match the colours. The ball shape is easier to find when digging around in my clown car purse without looking (tube balms are also shaped like lipstick, perfume rollers, pens, etc...). It's a gimmicky sort of fun to use it on my lips. It isn't in a turn-to-dispense tube so there's less problems like when I have a chapstick tube in my pocket and when I go to use it it has turned itself in my pocket to mush up into the cap. Can be used as a toy in a game of fooseball?
So basically it's fun. Good enough balm.

This was a good makeup remover for me. It has no downsides, and I'm usually good at being critical. It comes out of the bottle very well/fast so I'm able to fill a cotton pad easily. It's a solid clear liquid so no shaking is required prior to use, and if it has any scent it's really faint. I'm able to use both sides of one cotton pad to remove all my face and eye makeup, no hard pressing needed. It's super good at removing black liquid eyeliner and thick waterproof mascara, and not spreading this darkness around my eye area; it's all gone. I don't exactly know what "micellar" means without googling it, but it did seem to get off more makeup onto the pad quicker than other non-micellar removers have done. I can tell that the oils in it are beneficial b/c it doesn't dry out my skin but leaves it a little clammy to the touch. So it does have some moisturizing qualities, but I still use my routine nighttime moisturizers after using it. (Got it free with a ChickAdvisor Product Review Club item) -

This is a different type of primer that I'm used to, the first one I've tried in a moisturizer form. It comes in a twist off pot that you dab your fingers in and is a white jiggly lotion. It has a scent similar to other Nivea lotions, kind of a soapy clean smell. It takes such a little amount of product to go around my whole face, I've had to adjust by using less and less (good b/c will last longer). It applies like a very liquidy moisturizer, you rub it around and it disappears quite fast and is definitely not oily in any way. After it dries it leaves behind soft/velvet skin that feels different than skin that hasn't had the product on; if I apply a patch on my hand and then run my finger down my arm I can feel the area where my finger no longer glides smoothly but catches/slows down over the hydrated/primed part. So the primer works really well at making the surface better able to hold onto the makeup that's put over top of it. I could notice a difference when applying my liquid foundation over top; that the foundation didn't slide around as much so more coverage was given. It provides a good matte base layer under makeup, and retains moisture in the skin. I think it works better than other primers I've used that are just the clear gel style without moisturizer. I just got this on sale to try something different. The flavour is "Chocolate & Cheesecake with Chocolate Sauce" in the Saucy Spots line. The cheesecake is similar to their blueberry one in that there's no cheesecake chunks, but if you taste just the white ice cream and concentrate you can discern the lemon/coconut/graham essence of a cheesecake. But I would recommend starting out by first tasting spoons of just the white to be able to taste this. Not a fan of chocolate flavoured ice creams, so half the container (literally the way a box of Neapolitan is) is that. I can see their thought process in making it; that with a traditional chocolate swirl container WE ALL scoop out that frozen sauce layer and leave the plain ice cream behind. So the "saucy spots" blocks this behaviour by having the good stuff equally distributed in every spoonful and you can't pick out the good stuff. -

Ok, so this works well and gently removes makeup without drying my face. But I feel it's way too overpriced and I can find equally good and similar removers for half the price. So the price is my only big negative issue. A second issue I had was the container has a plug top with a tiny hole at the center to let the product out, and I couldn't get enough of the product out onto the pad and actually popped off the entire plug to use the entire open top of the container to tip onto the pad. The product has 2 visible layers you have to shake to combine, the top layer is clear oil and the bottom is very blue remover. (maybe people with sensitivities won't want the blue dye). The unshaken container is very hypnotic, like those oil-drip desk props at Spencer's. So it takes off all the makeup, all the black, all the layers of waterproof mascara... but why pay more for so little product? -

I thought this was a smart idea, both in that it makes the product more versatile for me to use and b/c I imagine at the factory they've had a lot of broken bars and this is a clever way to sell them. So yeah, they're exactly like the crunchy Nature Valley granola bars, but obvi now they're crushed and bite-sized. I think they should call it "crunchy crushed bar granola" not "crunchy bar granola" b/c I was going to use my free coupon to get them and with the word "bar" on the coupon I kept looking in the granola bar aisle looking for bars with this packaging (this is in the cereal aisle). Anyway the product is good, crisp and reliable. I liked the cinnamon flavour, I love cinnamon so this made it better than a plain or honey version. As I said I love the versatility: I can munch as a snack, throw on top of my hot oatmeal in the morning (would be good in cold cereal too), and are good for in the car or in a pocket on a walk.
The package says it has 21 bars crushed in each bag, and what they mean is that an original Nature Valley crunchy bar is individually packaged with two flat bars... so each individual serving size package is 2 bars not 1... so a normal box of 6 individually packaged bars is actually 12 bars by their meaning. So to me; I feel this bag is more literally one box of granola bars + 4 individually wrapped bars + half an individually packaged bar. Aaah, wordy math.

This is a nice standard go-to pack of balm. They're yummy fruit flavours that smell like Bubblicious gum, and taste a little sweet too. Love that they have spf without me noticing (not a "medicated" flavour). My least favourite flavour of the pack is the Melon Medley. Although it smells delish, after a while on my lips I have this strange smell (foul) and it took me forever to figure out it was on my lips. So somehow for me the flavour morphs after it's on. Still OK to use, but it's the only balm I've ever noticed this. The product is smooth and softens lips, and makes me rub my lips together a lot which means I keep it in my pocket for multiple applications. Oh, and the packaging is deceiving. Although they look the same size as a Chapstick/Lipsmacker (4 grams each), these Blistex are actually only 2.83 grams each; so you're getting a little less (sneaky). -

This is now a standard favourite in my house. It's a lot different than bagged salads in the past. I love that the kale is more substantial, less wilty, and has a yummy flavour compared to lettuces. And I love the combination of flavours with the sweet cranberries and pumpkin seeds. It's my favourite salad, and I've never had kale before trying it in this bagged salad. Everyone in my house likes it, and I'm always going back for more in the fridge so it never lasts a day. It's also healthy and fast to prepare. -

Gets me "vacation clean". This was my favourite of the three Dove Shower Foams I got to try with the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I was surprised how much I liked this one, and really fell in love with the scent. I'm usually drawn to sweet smelling products, but this one has a scent that gets me. It's very fresh and clean... like if I was on a fantasy tropical vacation in the most expensive hotel; this is what I want my room smelling like. And I personally want to smell like a rich happy woman.
Using the pump foam is so much faster than gel body washes. I don't have to work up a lather ever b/c it comes out as a lather. Such an improvement and it makes sense b/c it's more efficient. You can get rid of your puffs and washcloths in the tub and shower. It cleans the body, and also works great for shaving. And it's so gentle that I have used it in the morning to clean my face and it worked and was never drying. One time I got out of the shower and forgot to use lotion (I lotion everyday) and was surprised that none of my skin was dry later on, so I can tell that it comes with moisturizing abilities. I love that I can get the product out of the bottle one-handed. I can have it on the tub ledge and use the pump with my thumb to get the foam in my palm.
So this was my favourite and it has no flaws and I will totally buy this in the future, replacing the gel body washes. I love the refreshed scent it has and leaves me with. Reminds me of how sometimes you overhear people say that they like someones perfume, and the person says they're not wearing perfume it's just soap. It's like clean perfume.
