From Irish Spring to Mountain chill, Satisfying body wash
Got to try one of Irish Spring’s latest products. I know this is mainly a guy’s body wash, but growing up with my brothers, I have come across using Irish spring soap, and I enjoyed using it in the past. Even now I have used my husband’s Irish spring soap.
I got this body wash free in the mail, the Irish Spring Mountain Chill Moisturizing Face + Body Wash. This one is an arctic pine + Mint scent. To be honest the first few times my husband and I used it, the scent was really strong and I don’t know but there was something in the scent that I wasn’t a fan of, but I couldn’t figured out what it was. After a few days through either my nose hasn’t gotten used to it, or that part of the scent is gone. I noticed the body mentions it is 24 hours of freshness…I’m not sure about the scent lasting all day. But I have noticed that after a few hours of my shower that I have a soft subtle scent of Irish spring on me.
I do love that the body wash easy lathers up with water to soft creamy bubble lather. It goes well with a loofah. I did try it on my face; I still prefer using my regular face wash to this. But I think if you happen to forget your face wash on a trip or the gym, this is good to have on hand.

Got a special free surprise for my baby girl. My daughter has been asking for awhile for her very own kitchen, so she can make her own meals. I’ve been trying to convince her that we have a kitchen already but she was still eyeing one for her own in the toy aisles. But to our surprise, Belle got selected for Gabby’s Dollhouse Cakey’s Kitchen Set. She was definitely a happy child, and her smile was priceless.
So of course some assembly is required, and I do recommend an adult to help. Everything was pre-wrapped with wrapping paper, which for Belle she loved unwrapping every since part. It was tricky at first since we didn’t realized that the instructions where hidden under some of paper and sticker accessories. Please don’t assume you can do it without the instructions, my husband and I had to go back on steps since we sped up and realized errors.
Once built Belle, started to get into her cooking, and showing her parents her cooking skills. There were a few accessories that helped with her cooking. She could cook a grilled cheese sandwich, a peanut butter and jam sandwich, a veggie sandwich, she could change the sandwich recipe depending on what’s was on her mood. She could crack an egg to a pan, or boil it in a pot .It also came with a carton of milk and a box of pasta (but no pasta noodles included). I do love the accessories that it comes with; it came with a salt and pepper shaker, and a cook book. But I think I would like it to come with a few more food accessories so she can go a little past and make a few food combinations.
What we noticed and loved were all the little details, from inside her fridge, to her food shelves, the pictures on her fridge, and the book holder for her recipe book to be placed.
It does come with a little cakey cat that does have a few phases to encourage my daughter with cooking and she likes pressing it to see what new message he will say next. Her stove does have a sizzle, and boiling sound when you turn the cooking dials. The sink doesn’t make any sounds, but I doubt think my daughter minds. She loves flipping her food with her spatula, and presenting her food creations to her mommy, daddy and her toys. I think this is a great for any child inspiring to be a little chef.

This caught me by surprise. The one and only time where I bought a cleansing oil was when I was in my early twenties and it was a hype and I decided to buy a brand that of course I was unfamiliar of and because it came overseas it was expense. Long story short, it didn’t meet my expectations and I threw it out. But now getting to try the Shu Uemura Ultime8 Sublime beauty cleansing oil, such a difference like night and day.
At first I was a little confused by the bottle since it only gives a few drops at a time, and I thought I would need more. But that wasn’t the case, you literally only need a few drops. It has a soft light fragrance which I don’t mind, and the scent washes off once you wash your face anyways. For being oil, its not oily its gentle on my skin when spread it on my face. Then when I wash it off it takes the majority of my make up off. The only area I find it doesn’t do a great job is with my eye make up area, but then again if you put a lot of eye make up its understandable. Which that’s where the eye make up remover comes in. But for the rest of my face, it does a fantastic job. I even tested using my micellar water to see if it caught anything this oil miss…. It didn’t find anything. The bonus also is that it leaves my skin feeling soft and refreshed. I got to try this free thanks to Butterly, but I love this product and will be on my list to buy once I run out.

My eyelashes are loving this Covergirl simply ageless Lash plumping mascara for so many reasons. I got this to try out for free a few days ago, and I have now replaced it as my new favorite mascara. I find that it has a good water resistance even though the one I have is not waterproof. Sometimes my eyes get watery so I worry about my make up, but not with this mascara. Even on the hot days, where you may end up sweating, no smudges. I have to use the eye make up remover a little more to remove it, but its not a hassle for me.
I notice that my lashes not only look longer but they look thicker, and this is just using one coat. I know if I want to make a dramatic look, I can achieve it with a few more coats. What I also noticed its not clumpy after a few hours or after a few hours, which is great since I don’t have to constantly check to see if my eye make up is on check. I have noticed and love the bristles to the mascara comb, ensuring it gets coverage for all my lashes. Even the formula for this mascara, has a very light soft smell that is nice, and is almost not noticeable.
I read it has bamboo serum which to be honest I had to look up what are the pros for it. I found out it is good since it helps replenish the hydration levels, and reduces excess oil (which would explain the no smudging effect). Great bonus for me with my make up routine. No complaints here.

I’m such a fan of Batiste dry shampoo products. I’ve tried a few varieties of Batiste products and I love the refreshing scent I get from them. So when I got the Batiste Naturally Green Tea & Chamomile, Natural Dry Shampoo in the mail for free, of course, I was up for the challenge. So far already it’s easy to use, and just in case you’re in doubt how to, it comes with instructions just to shake & spray, massage and style. Pretty simple. No oily hair and no messy residue after using. I find that I have lots of uses with the dry shampoo, so it lasts awhile before I have to get a new one. For the days I skip washing my hair, I’ve been using this as my go to for my hair. I love the floral scent of wildflowers, but for a light scent, it’s very strong. It takes a few minutes for the scent to go down. But unfortunately my husband will tell me to turn on the bathroom vent to reduce the scent in the room. I think that’s the only negative that I have to say about this Batiste. Since it is a strong scent, I find putting any perfume or scented lotion is out of the question, since its already strong on its own.

I got to try one of the Finishing Touch Flawless products these past few days for free thanks to Butterly. I got to try their facial hair removal. I do have mixed reviews for this one through. I really do find this is one of those products that are great for people who are sensitive to pain, or are worried about cutting themselves when it comes to hair removal. I like the travel size and that it only needs an AA battery to use. It actually looks like a combination of either a lipstick or a mascara product, so you can easily have this in your makeup bag without having someone figure out what it is. It has two round coils that you hover to the face area that you want to use. While its on, it makes a low buzzing sound while you’re using it. What I loved is that its very easy to use and you don’t cut yourself with this. Now a few cons I had about this is that when first trying to put in the battery, I had such a hard time opening the battery component, that I was worried about breaking the product. Another thing is that I sometimes had to re-trying a few times in the area that I was working on since it didn’t remove the hair I wanted, and it wasn’t really a close shave either. Also with some hair removal products I can actually use it on my eyebrows but this one with the coils I found I might really cut an area that I don’t want to cut. Also when I received this product it only came with one double coil head. Out of curiosity, I wanted to see if I could easily replacement this when the time comes. So far I’m disappointed since already looking online I can only find the ones with one coil, and I'm not sure with stores would have the ones I’m looking for. I’m not sure if I can just replace it with just the single coil head, and if that will be as effective as the double coil head. I don’t think I would purchase this since I found more cons in this product. But I still wanted to give my feedback since this might be a win for someone else. -

Got this to try with my daughter, so far my daughter is on the older side, and is getting picky with food and medicine. The nice thing about these probiotics with D3 drops, she doesn’t have a taste so she doesn’t mind taking these. She just sees it as vitamins and that its quick and fast for her. I also love the pamphlet that comes with it, from telling the natural ingredients in these drops to explaining how beneficial it is for your baby or little toddler. I would recommend this to any new parents out there needing to get their baby started with boosting their vitamin D levels along with keeping up with a healthy immune system.

Got this free from SpinMaster, the Gabby's Dollhouse Craft Deluxe Room Playset. My daughter got excited since she loves playing with Gabby’s dollhouse toys. The one she received was for Baby Box’s room. She loved setting up the Baby Box’s room, and playing with the accessories. For assembling, an adult may need to assist the child with setting up the walls of the room. My daughter had a hard time with that, but the walls of the room is very sturdy once set up. As much as my daughter and I were exited to receive this toy, I did notice it did not keep my daughter as entertained as I expected. With this toy it comes with a little cat figurine of Baby Box, and her little hamster kitties in an egg cartoon. My daughter, and I originally thought that the hamster kitties would be able to come out of the carton, but they didn’t. Yes, We this toy set came with two little surprise boxes, which “spoiler alert” in one box it comes with a little hat for Baby Box, while the other came with a hamster kitty, which was nice but I think my daughter and I would agree that she would have liked to have more hamster kitties to ride the little Ferris wheel ride. I did go to my local toy store to see if maybe there was a different character’s deluxe room playset that bought additional hamster kitties so they could also go on the ride, but didn’t find any. I think the toy is nice, but I think it would have been nice to bring another character or something more to keep my daughter entertain with. She plays with the set but I find that I need to buy her either a gabby figuring or another Gabby's Dollhouse Craft Deluxe Room Playset for her to really get into playing with this. Usually when she gets a new toy she can play with it for hours, for the next few days, but so far this one unless I encourage her to play with it, she doesn’t play with the playset as much. Don’t get me wrong I know my daughter loves Gabby’s dollhouse, but I think there’s room for improvement with this cat’s room.

I got to try the Chapman’s Canadian Peaches & Cream Frozen Yogurt during the week after we lost power due to the storm we had. So you know how quick I had to eat this before it melted. I really wanted to love this one. But it’s a pass for me. Don’t get me wrong I love the fact that its actually frozen yogurt, my daughter couldn’t tell that it wasn’t ice cream. I love that it is a low-calorie treat. The yogurt has swirls of peach and vanilla frozen yogurt, with pieces of actual peaches in it. But what got to me is the overwhelming sweetness. I find it is too sweet for me. I don’t think I will get this flavor again, although I am willing to try other Yogurt flavors. I think it could have been the peaches that caused for the taste being too sweet. I’m still a fan of Chapman’s Ice cream, and love that they are trying to think out of the box. Keep on trying Chapman’s! I'm still loving your products! -

My daughter loves this little cupcake cake cat named Cakey. It’s her first Gabby's dollhouse toy. She’s been in separable with this little cat. While its taking him to grandma’s house, taking on a road trip, cooking, or going to sleep with, my daughter loves taking him everywhere. It’s an average size but perfect for my daughter to cuddle and give him hugs, and she loves doing so since he is very plush and soft. From the hat design to its body, it’s very colorful with its sprinkles on its cheerful face. I think this is a purr-fect cuddle buddy for little kids everywhere. -
