I bought this "lip plumper" because I have very thin lips hoping it would help a bit in that department. I wasn't looking for miracles, I know lip plumpers can only do so much, but this product is pure shit. It does nothing. Its not cheap either. I love stila's liquid lipsticks they are one of my favorite formula's so naturally I thought this might be great but I was wrong. Very wrong. Its a slimy white ish clear color that makes your lips look like you have gloss on for about 4 minutes then it's gone. It does not plump anything, Not even in the slightest. I don't even know how stila could say that this is a plumping gloss because it is seriously a straight up bold face lie. It does nothing. Because of its weird grayish shade you can't even just use it as a gloss. It looks very strange on, has a weird consistency and tastes disgusting. I won't even let this thing near me anymore so I'm a little upset the stupid thing cost almost $30 canadian. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IT IS COMPLETE GARBAGE! -

Pixi beauty recently became available in Canada at shoppers drug mart and i was over the moon about it. I had heard great things and the glow tonic was number one on my list of products to try. I bought the smaller travel size first to test it out and fell in love right away. I have sensitive skin with a lupus rash so I have to be careful about what I use on my face. This didn't irritate my skin and worked well with my other skin care products. It leaves your skin looking healthy, it really does give you a beautiful glow over time. The bottle is simple, nothing special but is similar to other pixi products. I don't mind the smell but as far as toners go they aren't the nicest thing to smell. It really helps get any extra makeup off your face your cleanser might have missed and doesn't dry your skin out like so many other toners do for me. It its a bit expensive considering it is a drugstore brand, pixi as a whole is on the higher end of the price range but I feel like they use better ingredients, are #cruelty free and mostly vegan so I don't mind paying out the extra dollars when I know I'm getting a far superior product to alot of the other skincare brands offered in the drugstore. I highly recommend this to my dry skinned gals who want to use a toner but find them too drying. That being said I do have friends with combo and oily skin that can use this toner and love it! I will be buying this over and over and am already on my third bottle. I also love that you can buy a large and travel size which is amazing for someone who does a decent amount of travelling. Highly suggest giving it a go and seeing how you like it. -

I have honestly never been a huge fan of the whole metallic liquid lipstick trend but somehow smashbox managed to make one that I actually like, no scratch that, love. They have beautiful wearable colors that aren't chunky or childish looking and are appropriate for daytime wear which is hard to come by when speaking about metallic lips. Its just enough that people notice your being edgy without looking silly. The packaging is lovely and I adore the applicator. It makes it very easy to get a nice sharp lip line and doesn't make a mess at all. The pigmentation is great and doesn't leave you with a horrid patchy metallic lip. If your going to wear a trendy lip such as this you need a product that isn't going to half ass it and have you looking like you didn't want to commit to the lip and it looks patchy. Just dont, go with something full opacity so people know you mean to look edgy. They also have a fairly decent wear time and can hang on through food and drink. You may have to touch up now and again just to keep your look looking fresh, but nothing out of the ordinary and much better wear time than a traditional lipstick. I highly recommend these, they have normal colors for day wear but they also have fun ones you might consider wearing out with your gf to the club or dancing the night away at a festival. Highly recommend if you want to try this trend, Do it right and buy one of the smashbox ones that is a great product and not A cheaper version that you will end up decluttering 5 months later bc you never wore it once. -

I own all of the duo chrome highlighters but snow rose is one of my favs. It's a gorgeous pink shift and is very unique. It looks amazing on pale skin but will work for multiple skin tones. It's a very creamy smooth highlight that doesn't have any sparkle or chunky glitter which is key. You don't need much, a little goes a long way. It's not visible on the skin until light hits your cheek which is what a highlighter should do. The packaging isn't anything special, just plastic, feels a bit cheap but for the price your paying it's fine. The price is great for the amount of product, and is a very accessible item, nyx is sold in a huge variety of places and not hard to find making replacing or buying the highlighter a breeze. Another bonus is that nyx is #cruelty free so for all the CF or vegan beauty lovers this is an option you can use. I have also used this as an eyeshadow and it works great. I do wish it would last a little bit longer on the face, but as long as you set it with a spray you will get a few more hours of wear out of it. -

I had been recommended this bronzer for so long and always thought it was too expensive, not worth it etc etc. Well I finally bit the bullet and I can't stop using it. It is the perfect shade for my pale skin and is so subtle and natural looking. I love the way it blends into my skin, it isn't patchy and blends like a dream. You get so much product in the package it will take forever to go through it. It's super easy to use, both a brush or sponge works well. I prefer a brush with a flat dense brush for a more even application. I also really love the smell. It gives your skin a very healthy glow without being powdery or patchy. The one downside is that there is only one shade and it's impossible to have one shade work for everyone. I also like the packaging, it's easy to travel with and is in a very sturdy container. I recommend this to anyone who wants a subtle gorgeous bronzer complexion. Totally worth the splurge! -
