I preferred using the lotion over this as I found it more effective, and the gel cream doesn’t absorb as quickly.
It says it should have a cooling effect which I didn’t find.
It did sting when I put it on during the worst part of my flare up, but most lotions do.

Aveeno® Eczema Care Daily Moisturizing Cream
I liked the lotion, it was unscented and didn’t feel greasy. It did help heal up some eczema & dry skin I had flare up recently. I don’t know if I saw too much difference then using the Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion which I have.
