My last baby was born severely prematurely. She was unable to breastfeed so I pumped... day and night.... every 1.5-2hours. It was exhausting. At the hospital they used an ameda breast pump and I loved it compared to my little handheld one I had at home, so I went out to purchase this one to save my nipples from being torn off from the cheap one I had and what a difference!!! Great that it comes with different size flanges too for different size nipples. I exclusively pumped for my daughter until she was no longer able to have my milk (lots of complications and GI issues), but it felt good knowing I could produce for her, and it definitely would not have happened for that long without this pump! -
