These oatmeal chocolate chip cookies were given to me by ChickAdvisor so that I could try them out and review them. Although these cookies were very tasty Ifound them too hard. I mean really hard! This is a great cookie to dunk in milk. They were melt in your mouth once dunked. Out of the 4 cookie/wafers we tried this one was my son's favourite but my least favourite. They are nice and chocolatey. I liked that there was oatmeal them which gives the illusion that there is a teeny tiny bit of healthiness to them but lets face it if I wanted healthy I probably won't reach for a,bag of cookies. The oatmeal flavour is delicious though. I would buy these again if my kids asked for them since they would most likely be the ones eating them. They do require milk to dip into to eat and I do not like milk. I may try them again dipping into tea. The packaging on these cookies is awful. There is no way to seal the bag to keep them fresh. Maybe they thought that we would eat a whole bag in one sitting? -

I received these Voortman vanilla wafers from ChickAdvisor. I got them free to try and to give a review of. The texture of these wafers is perfect. They are nice and crisp with a creamy filling. The vanilla flavour is very nice. We have been eating these for a few days now either as dessert with ice cream or on their own. Very tasty both ways. They are quite sweet but that did not deter us after all it was dessert. Actually having them with vanilla ice cream seemed to cut down on the sweetness. The only complaint that I have had with these wafer is the packaging. I really wish that there was a way to seal the bag. We have been storing them in a large freezer bag. They do go nicely with tea too! I would definitely purchase these wafers and I would love to try them as part of a dessert not just stand alone. These wafers are made in Canada which was a pleasant surprise. -

I was picked by ChickAdvisor to try these Voortman Strawberry Banana Wafers and give my opinion on them. They were supplies to me free of charge. I will get right to the point- these are the best wafer I have ever eaten! They taste just like a strawberry banana smoothie. Out of the 4 cookie/wafer types I was given these were by far the best! I loved them. My kids loved them! They have been asking for them as dessert and as a lunch treat! My oldest son was the one who tried them first and said that they taste like Dads smoothies. He tried to claim the whole bag! The texture is perfect. There is just the right amount of creamy goodness and crisp wafer to satisfy. These will definitely be put on our grocery list as a treat! I like that the flavour comes from real fruit (dried strawberries & bananas) although it is a bit far down the ingredient list. Also there is no high fructose corn syrup. 3 wafers maks one serving which is 150 calories but I usually limit us to 2 each at a time. I like that these are baked in Canada too. The only downfall is the packaging. Once the bag is ope you need to seal it up somehow. We just ended up putting it in a large freezer bag. Maybe one of those sticky tag things like on other brands would be helpful. -

I was given these cookies to try by ChickAdvisor so that I could write my review on them after trying. First thing-I am a huge coconut fan! I love all things coconut! These cookies did not disappoint in the flavour department. I thought that they had a nice coconutty taste. The colour is appetizing and they definitely smelled of coconut! THERE IS REAL COCONUT IN THESE COOKIES! The texture is like a homemade coconut macaroon cookie but maybe a little chewy to start. I found that after I opened the bag it was impossible to seal so I put the whole package into a large freezer bag. I wish that there was a better way to seal the bag after opening. After a few days in the freezer bag the texture was greatly improved. I drink tea and coffee and have had the cookie with both but I prefer a tea with it to not overpower the flavour. Not surprising tome was that my kids didn't really care for them. It's not that they did it like them it's just that they liked them less than the other 3 flavours of cookies/wafers we were given to try. Even with all that coconut flavour, coconut was the third ingredient behind flour & sugar and at 100 calories per cookie I won't be eatimg them as often as I wish! So to wrap it up these cookies tasted delicious but the texture could use some improvement. This would not prevent me from buying them as a treat for myself but that being said nobody else would eat them andI would be stuck eating the whole bag myself which may or may not be a problem -

I received this Catell product for free from ChickAdvisor. This pasta was very good. I made it with just a can of 4 cheese pasta sauce. I wanted to make sure that the flavour of the pasta came through and not just the sauce. My family didn't even know that this was not the regular kind of pasta. There really wasn't much of a "veggie" taste especially when sauce was added. I did notice that the box had less pasta in it than the regular Catelli pasta but it was still enough for 2 adults and 2 children. The pasta cooking instructions were spot on. I would buy this again especially when on sale although the the regular price was okay. It was tasty and the added veggie makes this win-win! -

Since I am a ChickAdvisor I received the Catelli Ancient Grains Rotini for free. I was quite exited to try this product. My family eats pasta about once a week so this was right up our alley. I did not use the recipe on the catd that came with the kit. It just wasn't something that I knew we would like. I did however use a sundried tomato pesto and added extra sundried tomatoes to the finished product. I also served it with chicken breast and fresh garden salad to complete the meal. The past has a slight nutty taste to it which nobody in my family complained about (surprisingly) . I did find that I had to cook the pasta for about 1.5-2 minutes longer that the box said in order to get it to el dente. It holds its shape nicely still tasted good as leftovers the next day again without going soggy. My youngest child liked his meal so much that he asked for it to be sent in his lunch the next day! This ancient grain pasta is a great way to get more whole grains into your family maybe without them even knowing. I do however think that it needs a sauce to make it more pasta push in flavour, I didn't mind the taste without sauce but my family thought it definitely required sause. I would buy again for sure especially if there was a sale! -

ChickAdvisor here so I received this product for free! Nivea Creme has a place in my heart but maybe not my beauty box. The price is right for how much you get. A little of theis product goes along way. My grandmother used to use Nivea Creme so the scent always remind me of her. While I don't mind the scent personally again I wish there was an unscented option! I used the Creme on my face & chest as well as on the backs of my hands. It is very thick & luxurious but I also find it a bit waxy. The first time I used it on ,y face I used too much and it felt like a mask of greasy wax but once I got the amount right it was much better. It does add some nourishment to my "normal" skin. I found that I would use before bed but would have to wait a while for it to sink in otherwise it would leave raise on my pillowcase. I wouldn't use this product everyday (although I did for a week for the purpose of this review) I would however us it when I felt that my skin needed a bit more nourishment. It feels exceptionally nice on the backs of my hands which I would again apply before bed. I think the product does do as promised but it isn't for everybody due to the scent, texture and thickness of product. -

I received Nivea Creme Care Facial Lotion for free as I am a ChickAdvisor. I love the feel of this lotion cleanser. It is very soft, smooth and gentle. I didn't even feel the need to have to moisturizer after (although I did). The price is great for the size of bottle as a little goes a long way. One nice feature is that you don't have to actually wash it off you could just tissue off the product. I have tried both ways but I do prefer to wash it off. I did find it very gentle even around the eye area but again I found it too heavily scented for my liking. I know that part of Niveas appeal seems to be the scent. The scent to me is very nostalgic as my Grandmaother always used Nivea Creme. I would prefer this product if it were unscented or at least had an unscented version, -

I received Nivea Protect & Care from ChickAdvisor for free so that I could give my opinion and review of the product. As far as antiperspirants go this one is average. Nice packaging, okay scent effective for everyday use but maybe not for use if you sweat more or are doing more strenuous work. It does however leave the underarm region soft without irritation. It has a good price compared to other similar products. -

I am a ChickAdvisor so I got this product for free but this is my opinion of the product. These Nivea wipes are okay. I am not sure if I would buy them again. I found them to be too scented for my liking and my wipes felt a bit dry and rough. I often use facial wipes from other brands and I found these Nivea wipes to not be on par with my other brands. There were however effective in removing my makeup but again because they felt a bit dry & rough my skin felt a little raw after using. The feel of my skin after using the wipes was soft and smooth. I didn't have any long lasting irritation after using just the initial slight discomfort from the rubbing. The price is okay so I might buy again if they were cheaper (on sale) than my other brands. -
