Clorox Disinfecting Wipes
Clorox disinfecting wipes work well to disinfect hard surfaces, but the smell is just too strong for me and my family. They have a bleach scent which is just overpowering to me, and I hate the way I have to immediately wash my hands after using them... +
Clorox disinfecting wipes work well to disinfect hard surfaces, but the smell is just too strong for me and my family. They have a bleach scent which is just overpowering to me, and I hate the way I have to immediately wash my hands after using them because of the scent and the feel of the wipes. My child's teacher said she preferred other brands over the Clorox for the same reason when we were buying them for school. Not my favorite disinfecting wipe out of the different brands available. -

I mail packages to my family through the post office all the time, and I use a lot of packaging tape. One day I ran out and borrowed my husbands Gorilla tape, and realized I was buying the wrong tape for packages. It only takes one strip of gorilla tape to securely hold a box shut, whereas I was using 3 or 4 strips of packaging tape for the same job. The tape is super strong and heavy duty, and can hold up to pressure. He uses it all the time on strange things like repairing a broken plastic piece on a moped (still holding 9 months later!), repairing a small tear in a moped seat, and all kinds of jobs. Last spring he used it to attach some small fairy lights on a small gazebo in the yard, and even with the weather it is still holding. Great strong tape! -
Downy Unstopables In-Wash Scent Boosters - FRESH

I don't allow my husband to do the laundry because he always uses 4 times as much laundry detergent as needed, because he bases how clean the clothes are on smell. He thinks I don't add enough, because the smell is not strong enough or does not last long enough. That was until I started using Downy Unstopables in my wash. The scent booster really works, and now the laundry smells amazing and the scent lasts for weeks. I now use this in every load and I would never go back to not using it, even if it is a bit pricey. -

My husband loves the smell of pine, so this is his favorite cleaner. He is the one who mops and cleans the kitchen and bathroom usually, and it only takes a small amount of Pine Sol to the bucket to make the whole house smell clean and fresh. It does an excellent job of removing grime and dirt (we have dogs who come in the back door and leave muddy paw prints on the floor). It does not cost as much as other cleaners, but works just as well if not better. We use it for floors, counters and walls almost every week. -

I have found out that Mr Clean Magic erasers work on just about everything! I use them to remove crayon and ink from walls, scuffs from shoes, bathtub grime, food spills on my stove, and so many more things. You just get the eraser wet, and stains... +
I have found out that Mr Clean Magic erasers work on just about everything! I use them to remove crayon and ink from walls, scuffs from shoes, bathtub grime, food spills on my stove, and so many more things. You just get the eraser wet, and stains and marks magically disappear. I had 2 old stains on my kitchen tile that had been there for months, and it even cleaned them (and it was grape juice stains). They work on so many surfaces, and you don't even have to scrub hard. They last for a long time too. I can use one eraser for weeks, so it is a good value as well. -

I have 5 great grandchildren, all under the age of 4, so I know diapers. We have found that Pampers do not leak or irritate their skin. They are more expensive than the generic brands, but it is worth it because they don't get rashes. My newest great granddaughter is 20 days old, and we started her in Pampers from the day she came home from the hospital. She was only 5 pounds, so she is in the preemie size, but we have newborn and size 1 waiting for her to grow into. They are very absorbent, and the elastic on the legs is not too tight, but secure so they don't leak. -
